Hi guys,
Hope you guys are all ok, MERRY CHRISTMAS FOR ALL OF YOU!
Guys I'm a little bit desperate and confused. On June 5th USCIS received our package for our AOS process, they sent me an appointment for my fingerprints(they took my fingerprints). In july sent to us a request for initial evidence which we mailed to them the next day. On august 8 they received our response(the evidence they request) its been since that day we haven't heard of them. We called them to ask about our process and most importantly for now the EAD because my wife is the only one working and we're a little bit struggling and I want to work to help her and our situation. So we called them and they said to us that if in the next 60 days we don't receive anything to call them, so we called them as they said. Now they told us that we have to wait 30 more days and call them again if we don't receive anything, we haven't received anything and tomorrow is the last day of the 30 days they said.
I'm desperate and confused and I wanted to know if one of you guys had been in this situation or if one of you know what do to if they don't respond with something tomorrow I really need to work and I'm desperate hope you guys can help me with this THANKS TO YOU ALL

You will be fine to travel domestically using your passport as ID for check in and TSA.. You should have your NOA for the AOS application you submitted in June, carry that as evidence of lawful presence. Enjoy NYC.
Thanks you so much!

Yes, you should be free to travel throughout the US. You can bring paperwork if you want, but none will be required to show. There's no immigration points to cross - just TSA. Your passport will be all you need. Have a lovely trip! Eat some good pizza and bagels for me!
I will! thanks!!!

Hi guys!
hope you're all good!Guys I recently was invited to a familiar reunion in New York city, the thing is that I'm still in the AOS process with my wife(she's the petitioner(US CITIZEN)), We filled the AOS papers on June, is November and I don't even have my EAD or SSN(think we have a delay because of Request of Initial Evidence(we sent that 2 days after they sent de Request) but still too much time. I have my passport with my tourist visa on it, but since I overstayed for the AOS process I don't know If I can travel inside United States, someone here can help me with this? can I go to New York in a plane with my ID(passport)?
Thanks you so much guys!

Hey guys,
I have a small question, my wife and I are growing impatient. We sent out our packet in the 5th of June, and by the 22nd of June they received everything including fingerprints.
They sent us a request for further evidence in July and it was sent back and updated that our case is resumed. We are now in October and I will have not received any updates that the case is accepted
nor my work permit. My question for you guys is, how long does it take to receive the work permit? And should I call and see why they haven't updated me with new information about our case?
I hope someone can answer my question!
Thanks!

Hi everyone, hope you guys are all ok!
Guys, I'm in an AOS process right now, we (me and my wife) started the process like 3 months ago, everything is going well, got my fingerprint appointment and I am just waiting for my Work Permit. I haven't applied for an AP (advance parole) because I didn't think that I need it to go out of the country in process time, unfortunately I do need to go back to my country to resolve some things and get back to US in maybe 2 or 3 weeks. The question here is, if I apply for an Advance Parole now that would delay my work permit or my process in general? and it's safe to travel with an advance parole? I read in some other forums that travel with an advance parole bring problems.
If you guys know about this please let me know about it. I just need help and all the information you can explain to me guys. BIG THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!

"Filing Form I-485 with Forms I-765 and I-131
If you properly file Form I-485 and pay the required fees, you may file Form I-765 and Form I-131 without paying additional fees. You may file these forms together, or if you choose to file Form I-765 or Form I-131 separately, you must also submit a copy of your I-797C, Notice of Action, receipt as evidence that you filed and paid for Form I-485."Yes I'll enjoy those $410 too much

Hi guys hope you're all ok.
Guys today UCIS sent me a check back the "I–765 Application for Employment Authorization" CHECK for $410(the new fee) but I don't understand why they sent me the check back. They also send me a receipt of the "I–765 Application for Employment Authorization". That's why I'm so confused. Like they sent me a receipt where application fee says: $0.00 but in the USCIS WEB says that the fee for I-765 is $410(That's why I sent the check)
In the letter says: "Recently you submitted an application for immigration benefits. That form was submitted with an extra remittance that is not required to process your application..."Somebody can help me with this? I don't understand
I'm on AOS from B2
Thank you all guys!

You're welcome.
You can check your cases online. https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do or download the official app on your phone even though they suggested to wait.
I checked mine right away and they were already there.
I'll do that right now. Than You again

Hi guys! hope you're all ok.
Guys I just got an email from UCIS telling me this:
"Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number 00000000000. With the official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) you may visit ucis.gov where you can check the status of your case using My Case Status. We suggest you wait until you have received your Form I-797 before checking My Case Status.
This confirmation provides notification of the date USCIS received your case. This notice does NOT grant any immigration status or benefit. You MAY NOT present this notice as evidence that you have been granted any immigration status or benefit. Further, this notice does NOT constitute evidence that your case remains pending with USCIS. The current status of your case must be verified with USCIS."They sent me 3 emails with different receipt number, what does that means?
Does that is a NOA1?

Sudan man they won't update anything until n unless case will be approve,I have sent my package on may8 n NVC they have received on may10 n I get to know that by calling to NVC till now they didn't send me anything so I came to know they won't send anything until n unless case approved or request for evidence 😊
We sent the package on June 3rd and they received on June 5th. We use the tracking number to find that out, from what I've read they send a notification (NOA1) that is what i want to know how long it takes to receive it.
My b2 visa expires today so I'm worried because my status now will be Overstayed
3 minutes ago, EMBELL_17 said:I sent my package to the same address as you. Did you get tracking info?
Yes I have the tracking info from USPS and they received on June 5th

Hi guys! Hope you all are ok.
I just sent my AOS package(USPS Express mail) last week and now I'm waiting for them to tell me that they received my package. How long does it takes for a "received" response?
and guys when I was putting the address on the USPS package I saw in the UCIS page that Express mail goes to this address:
USCIS
FBAS
131 South Dearborn-3rd Floor
Chicago, IL 60603-5517When I see here in the forum other AOS applicants post they always send the application to other address (USCIS P.O. Box 805887 Chicago, IL 60680-4120) so I'm a little bit confused with that :/
if someone knows about this, please let me know. Thanks to all

Hi guys again! Hope everybody is fine!
Well Im gonna send my AOS package this week right now I'm assembling the forms and everything but I'm a little bit confuse with how everything needs to be assembled. Like the forms needs to be apart of the photos, passport copies, birth certificate, etc or every form has to be with exact things? I dont know and now this is driving me crazy. Like in the form G325A I'm attaching all the BIO info like passport photos, passport copies, birth certificate and etc. But when I look online people put this informations on the I-130 or in the I-485 so now I'm more confused right now guys.
I'll appreciate if you guys can help me with that.
Thanks to all!

Thanks to you all guys! and sorry I explained myself wrong I have a 10 year visa and my I-94 expires in June.

Once in the US, your period of authorised presence is governed by your I-94, not your visa. The visa expiring has no effect on anything other than you cannot use it to attempt to enter on again.
My I-94 expires in june too so what do I do in this case?

Hi guys again!
Guys I'm adjusting from b2 visa. My b2 expires in June so I'm a little bit scared because we haven't submit the papers yet. am I still fine if I fill the paperworks before June?
everything will be ok if I do that. We are just filling the affidavit and in the next 2 weeks we're on our way. Or do I need to file an I-539 (APPLICATION TO EXTEND/CHANGE NONIMMIGRANTS STATUS)?
Please someone who knows about this situation let me know below. Thanks to you guys!

Ummm... your screen shot answers the question about 1 or 2...
Left side even says "For USCIS Use Only"... you do not fill anything in on that section.
And yes, both wife and cousin need to submit an I-864 form and documents.
Thanks I didn't read that. thank you

Your wife files an I-864 as the petitioner/sponsor.
Her cousin files her own I-864 as the Joint Sponsor.
You do not mark 1 or 2 since the space is reserved "For USCIS Use Only." You do not mark anything in the boxes that you posted above You leave it empty for USCIS to use.
Thanks I didn't read that. Sorry I've been filling all this papers and thats gonna make me crazy.
Thank you!
