hello folks. I have another unexpected update. I've just received my EAD card in the mail today (exactly one week after card went into production) but the EAD case status remains the same. there was no email, SMS, or any notice at all. don't know what's happening but I'm very happy! unfortunately, I have to wait until Monday to run and apply for SSN and driver's license.
 
I hope everyone will also receive theirs, especially those with pending job offers. I wish us all the best. happy weekend!

Hi, I got those same messages (SR complete, response sent) on Monday, August 7.  I was freaking out because I never got an email or status change, but then yesterday (Friday, August 11) I got approval notices for my EAD and AP in the mail.  The letters said my combo card will be mailed to me, but I still have no changes online.  It seems they often miss updating our cases online, but don't worry-you'll get something in the mail next week!

I got the exact same today and no email or text, has anyone gotten a completed SR and did get emailed?

hello folks / @papasmf / @MAYNYCFiler2017, I haven't received my EAD yet but just writing to update...
 
yesterday night -- yeah, I usually check mails at night unless I'm expecting something :P, I checked the mailbox and found a physical mail (dated 08/04) which says "Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly." then following day (08/05) my EAD case status changed to New Card is being produced, like I also confirmed last Saturday. this response was what I was looking for and asking @MAYNYCFiler2017 last week. it appears it was just delayed.
 
then today, I received an Approval Notice (by mail again) dated 08/05 that says "We (USCIS) have approved your application for employment authorization" and that they will mail the EAD separately.
 
hopefully, we will all get good news in the coming weeks as things now seem to be moving somehow.
 
will update you guys again when there's any change.  

Finally this is good... I am hoping to get a reply on my SR today Aug 11 as well, maybe tomorrow as this is a proof they are really taking their time and working at a snail speed...
 
I think the officers at NBC went to sleep right after May fillers got our biometrics appointment, everything was going fine at a high speed for us all then after bio, they went right to bed  You think someone put something in their coffee? Its not winter yet we would have guessed maybe its hibernation mode for them. Wake up NBC please...
 
I promised myself I wasn't gonna come here to the forum and log on to the case status today, but hey this is the 100000th time I am here checking and logging in to see if there is any update on my status...I am beginning to pull my hair out this wait is killing especially when I know its about time I have my EAD

I think they just updated the website as of today August 10th and they're now reviewing cases from April 1st... Getting there but the NBC location sure is taking its sweet time :/ 
 
My application was received on May 12th so in 2 days it'll be 90 days without update. I did get an RFE on my I-485 though so i dont know if it affects it... Wondering whether I should start a SR or something else :/

So, to those waiting on replies from SR, we were supposed to expect a reply on our SR for EAD being outside of normal processing time by today August 10.  
 
The status still says that our service request hasn't been assigned for processing as of July 19.
 
We are K1 to AOS/EAD/AP - May 3 NOA1, no RFE.  I think the Missouri NBC is way behind, it still says online that they are processing EAD applications from early March as of now.  
 
I'll call to put in another service request soon if we don't get a response to the first one soon

Any K1 to AOS/EAD filers from May hear anything back yet, non-expedite, and no RFE?
 
Still experiencing radio silence from USCIS since May 3 (outside of having done biometrics on June 1).  Recap of time line is:
 
AOS - NOA1 received date says may 10 (online and mail says it's at NBC, phone system says it's in Missouri - which I think is an NBC office), status still on "Fingerprint Fee Received"
 
EAD/AP - NOA1 received dates say may 3, status still says case received
 
Service Request for EAD submitted July 19 - automated email received instantly and it gave us an SR tracking number and said expect a reply by August 10 - as of today August 8, online system says it was received July 19 and has not yet been assigned for processing, called and they said to call back after August 19 if we still haven't heard and they would put in a new service request

Finally!!! After waiting for exactly 24 hours after my interview concluded with bated breath i get a text message saying your status updated and i see this on my status page!!!!

@imdastyle - do you have a photocopy of the 131 you filed with them?  If you do, email it to them showing the correct checkbox, then call them and ask for tier 2 and try to get that email to the person on the phone and tell them what happened.  Also call your congressman and get them involved
 
sorru you are going through this bud - if you have a copy of your application you should be able to get them to correct their mistake by showing proof of it

Unfortunately my case is at NBC as well  I will, however, be sending job applications now and hopefully the EAD will be out by then. If not I will definitely try to expedite it. I'll also be sending a SR as soon as I hit the 75 day processing time.

Yes!  Absolutely, the best thing we can all do is fill out our timelines, not just for May but for everyone on this website.  This website functions so well because of the aggregated timeline data and every single one of us learning and sharing what we read and experience.  
 
Also - If you haven't filled out a timeline yet, a nice thing to know is that visajourney will use that same aggregated data along with your personal timeline to provide you with some pretty darn close estimates for your cases' adjudication times.
 
On the other hand, if - like my wife's EAD - your's is still pending at NBC, they seem to have a pretty big backlog right now causing delays.  The processing times for EAD says they are now processing for cases from March. I'm not certain, but that makes it sound like they are 60 days behind the typical 90 day estimate?  Anyone know if that's how I should be reading it?

I'll be at 75 days on Monday since submitting my AOS and I 765. I am most likely going to put a service request in Monday and see where that goes although the timeline is 90 days, but I have a feeling it may go past that from reading some previous timelines.
 
keep us all up to date and if there is anyone that has recieved their EAD or have got their GC interview from filing in May, please let us know your timelines.

Glad we have each other for support.  My case inquiry says it hasn't been assigned for processing yet, on the case status page under Next Steps for our EAD case 

thanks for the update... I haven't logged in into my USCIS case status for 2 days now, its been like forever...I'm tired of checking and not seeing any updates. My case inquiry says Aug 11, 4 more days and its gonna be day 90 for me and day 75 for my child.
 
The closer I am to getting this EAD the less patient and more anxious I am, USCIS sure knows how to make you the most patient person on earth  You don't even have a choice you have to patient by force its so mean!!!

I submitted our case inquiry for EAD going beyond 75 days without update last Wednesday.  The automated reply said to expect a response by August 10.  Seems like they were faster about replying to email inquiries during the K1 process, haha.  
 
Still no updates here, and no update on the inquiry about having no updates.
