Thank you for the reply!
so domicile is the problem that concerned the AIT?
From all the stuff you listed seems like you have more than enough evidences to prove it
do you think is because you been out of the US for too long? (I have been in Taiwan for 4 years...)
Did your husband bring any prove of savings or make it seems like y'all planning to leave?
sorry for all this question !

Thanks for the info
I think I might have a lot of problems in the interview since I have no proof of domicile since I came to Taiwan right after finishing high school so theres no way I will have any proof I dont know if its better to just go back to the US first without my husband
After you got approved at NVC how long did you have to wait to get the interview date?
Sorry I have another question while you werent living in the US did you pay your taxes? since you been gone for a long time. Thanks for the answer

Hi!
It has been week #10 since NVC received all the documents (including DS-260)....
Does anybody knows how long it can take them to review the case?
When I was in my 8th almost 9th week I called and they told me they will put a note on my case and a few days after that I got an email from NVC I was missing documents but if I wasn't I would of already been approved.

so what about this ? is it asking us to mail in the Birth Certificate? In taiwan they use household registrar as Birth Certificate... or i should just wait for the interview date and bring it to embassy?

______F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:______________________________________
We reviewed the Affidavit of Support form and supporting financial documents you submitted. While
we will schedule your case for an interview, there is something incomplete or missing. This could affect
the Consular Officer's ability to make a decision on your case.
On the attached Affidavit of Support Assessment Letter, we have put an "X" by each item you need to
correct.
If your Affidavit of Support form needs correction:
Fill out a new form online.
Print, sign and send the form to the principal applicant so he or she can take them to the visa
interview. Do not send the updated form to NVC.
If there are supporting documents missing:
Send the missing documents to the principal applicant so he or she can take them to the visa

After NVC schedules the immigrant visa interview, we will send you an appointment letter with
additional details. You do not need to contact NVC or send us additional financial information at this
time.

Why does it keep on saying ''DO NOT SEND THE CORRECTED FORM AND DOCUMENTS TO NVC" this letter is so complicated thanks for the help

So NVC sent us a letter stating we are missing stuff. Its hard to understand if they need the birth certificate or not when Taiwan issues household registration as certificates this info about Taiwan is even found in State Gov. Also they are asking for 2015 transcript of w2 but we sent 2015 plus 2014 and 2013 transcripts. Can it be they lost them?

i am helping somebody from kenya right now. he is under F1 category. we sent his documents over to NVC back in November. for some odd reason, the system generated an email saying that we need to fill out DS-260. but that was not accurate coz we filled out the DS-260 in October. have called a million times, went through 2 supervisors, and until now they said his documents are still with document review department but they have not reviewed his documents yet because of a lot of documents came in the last few weeks. so we are running 12 weeks already from the time the NVC received his documents.
wow that sucks
we received by house mail the same paper 3 different times with our case number and check list thats pretty much. I guess all I can we can do is wait even more than 6 weeks thanks for the info
-
I sent my NVC documents more than 6 weeks ago. Never received no RFE or nothing also I called and they told me they received my documents the 29th of December and to wait another week. I cant call today since they closed already but Im sure they will tell me the same things since I checked online and still no updates.
Is anyone going through the same thing? If I got and RFE shouldn't I know by now?
Thanks for any info

So my sister lives in the US and needs to send the i-864 to her husband for his interview in El Salvador. She said she is going to send it via email after she scans that page were the signature is needed so the signature will be a copy because its scan. Is this ok or the signature has to be done by pen and not a copy after she scans it?
thanks for the info

Does anyone know what does it mean "at NVC" in the CEAC website when i check my visa status? Does it mean they already received my documents? I just sent my AOS and IV packs about 2 weeks ago from Taiwan
Thanks for the info

hi
yes, she needs the most recent tax, which will be that one
everything needs to be updated,
So she needs to do a whole new AOS? is it ok if she no longer needs a joint sponsor and just uses her tax return since now she makes enough income?

My sister husband is having his embassy appointment February and she doesn't know if she needs to do a new I-864 because the one she did for nvc was in 2014 but her case has been stuck in the Salvador embassy since then
Should she do a more recent one with the new taxes of 2015 for her new appointment?
-
i dont know if under current individual annual income in part 6 do I write the income the joint sponsor makes now since her annual income went up since her last income tax or do I write her 2015 total income tax?
My joint sponsor provided a job letter saying her current annual income but in her 2015 income tax she still made enough to be the joint sponsor
Thanks for the info
