  1. Had my Combo interview at San Bernardino, CA .Came here in the US by K1 visa

    I751 filed July 2019

    N400 filed June 2020

    Infopass on Mar 29,2021

    Interview date:May 10,2021

Intreview with the spouse, less than 5 mins. Was asked how long have we known each other and how did we reconnect again.Spouse was asked to leave the room for N400 interview. Civic questions 6 items

reading and writing. Then the usual yes and no answers. When asked if I have questions before the start of the interview, informed officer that I have updates and mistakes on the N400 form.
Oath taking on the 1st floor same day.Had my Naturalization Certificate that same day.

Officer was very nice and respectful and friendly.

    Goodluck to all!

Hi, I  did the early filing for N400 in June2020 based on eligibility 3 year spouse of US citizen. And it clearly states on their website that the 90 day early filing will be the anniversary that was written in your green card.I am worried, they should have not said that on their website if that will not be the case. I still have pending ROC filed July 2019. When I checked my GC it was CF1, came here through fiance visa. I received my GC,09/26/17 it still is within the 90 day early filing 3 year anniversary if I filed N400 on 06/29/20

I am not happy to share this horrible mistake made by USCIS but I want everyone to be careful  as follow-

I filed My N-400 on 6/9/2020 based up on IR Spouse of citizenship being qualified 3 years of PR that allows me file 90 days prior to my 3rd GC anniversary. and I had an interview on 11/12/2020. I passed exam but 2 weeks later My N-400 denied because I filed early and reason being given by uscis was issuance date on GC was not correct ( It should have been 1 month later as per USCIS)......  Uscis Explanation as follow -

Your permanent resident card indicates that you obtained immigrant classification CR1 on September 2, 2017. However, this information is incorrect and you should have received immigrant classification CR6 on the actual date of approval on October 2 2017.

so be careful when you file N-400 based up on spouse of citizenship.

Will they accept US citizen spouse passport as an evidence to bring during interview as proof (NATURALIZATION AS THE SPOUSE ) if husband has no US birth certificate or certificate of naturalization?

  5. 68 days from submissionnof I-129 to having NVC Number.Got the letter from NVC 13 days after and right away had medical exam. Sadly, we fall into the route of doing sputum exam which means having to wait for 8 weeks to get result of the culture. The good thing is we didn't schedule for interview yet,so we don't need to reschedule interview date. To others who are so excited about receiving the NVC number, do medical exam first before scheduling and prepare yourself for the 8 weeks so you won't get too frustrated if it happens?. This is for Philippine consulate requirements. Not sure if it is for all applicants.

I will have my medical tomorrow. I'd like to ask if the patient who undergo the medical has cough or is smoking?

We're almost at the finish line guys!!!! Congrats to those who got their nvc numbers, done with medical and got their packet 3. God bless us!

For the packet 3,Was it by mail or thru email?

  6. Sent you a message to go over our whole process in more detail.

Can you send me the same details as well? I will be having my interview on Dec 5,2016. We have a lawyer but they are not advising us to push thru with the interview since the physical case may not have been with the Manila Embassy. We received our NVC letter thru Oct 28. CEAC website says it was created Oct 19 and was updated Oct 26 and is READY for interview. I have the Appointment Letter from the Embassy at hand. Our lawyer mentioned that we may not be admitted if the Eligibility Letter will not be provided.

  7. Hi! I'm from Philippines too :) You need to have the interview appointment confirmation to take the medical and also nvc letter or ceac saying your case is ready ?

No need for embassy letter :)

I believe you will be taking your medical on November 22 as well. We might see each other there. I will proceed to the medical without the appointment letter yet. SLEC says Appointment Letter be brought if available. I can't access my account for the interview schedule. Law office doesn't want me to schedule the interview without the Eligibility Letter for I might not be admitted without it. Such a waste of time.

  8. No, lawyer doesn't know what they are doing. Once you have MNL # from NVC and status as listed as "ready" on CEAC you can proceed.

Exactly! I would want to schedule my medical on the 15th already. They keep on insisting on the eligibility letter where in fact our case says it's READY already.

You can check your status here:

    https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

They keep insisting of the eligibility letter from the Manila Embassy where in fact the Ceac website tells us it's READY already.

  9. No, don't wait for a letter from NVC. If we waited for a letter, we'd still be waiting. You don't need it. The only thing you need from NVC is the MNL#. Once you have that you can:

    1. Pay Visa/interview fee at BPI (save receipt)

    2. schedule interview at USEM online (print out confirmation, you will need it at St Lukes)

    3. complete DS-160 online

    4. Pre-register for medical at St. Lukes (this will streamline process when you get there)

    5. Attend medical (there is no appointment for this, it is first come, first served basis)

    6. Attend interview (and hopefully get approved)

    7. Attend CFO in either Manila or Cebu. (this can be done either before or after interview, we chose after. If you do it before, you'll have to go back to get passport stamped. You can not leave the country without attending CFO and getting stamp).

Keep in mind, every embassy is a little different. You'd be best off posting any specific questions you have in the regional Philippines section.

I have received our NVC letter last Oct 28. Lawyer wanted to wait for the eligibility letter from the US Embassy in Manila before proceeding to Medical and scheduling the interview, is it that necessary?

  10. We are flying there in December, will be staying until spring ... my biggest concern is finding Batangas coffee... ;)

You can try Cafe de Lipa at SM Lipa or at their branch at Total Station SLEX northbound

  11. Its been almost a month since NOA2, and I have not got the hard copy yet,

Also the NVC claims that they have not received it yet.

    Should I do something ?

We are on the same situation. NOA2 9/28

Fiancé called 2weeks after NOA 2. He was told to call after a month of NOA2 as stated in the hard copy. As of today, no mail yet or anything from NVC. Usually it takes 2 weeks, sooooo long right now?. We cannot schedule both an interview and medical without it.
