Question: If I filed my I-130 to the Chicago address, but then got my approval letter from the California address, where should I send the remaining AOS package? Chicago or Laguna Niguel

My PD 29 Sep. 2016, got NOA2 1 Sep 2017, I am F2A category living in the States as F1 visa tell getting my green card
What is the benefit that chart B moves 8 months, and does this mean that I can apply for work permit as soon as I receive the WL? little bit confused what to do next step.
Thanks
Same here, I believe you don't even need to wait for WL, on my I-130 approval it says to file when the date is current. You can file the rest of your AOS package including work or travel permit.

Guys! Question:
To include or not to include the medical record? My husband's interview won't be earlier than an year from when we send his AOS package, the record will have expired by then and they will probably want us to submit a new one. Any suggestions?

Hello folks,
My PD is 10-2-2015 in F2A category . I was a student and did AOS in US. Now I see final action date is 22OCT15 for next month in VISA bulletin .
Does that mean I will receive interview notice ? When I expect to receive that normally ?
Can I track it by case number ? Since I already moved this year and changed address in USCIS system, but afraid they will mail it to original address.
Thanks for any advice.
Hey, did you maintain your status after you applied for AOS?

what's IL? we're doing an AOS. so they at NVC have a new priority date already?
I believe you can file for AOS as long as USCIS website says that you can use chart B.

When did your petition got approved and did you receive nvc case number yet? Yes I was talking about the petition and I think i have almost a year to get my pd current.
PD August 2016, I-130 got approved in January 2017, I do have nvc case number, but I won't be doing what most people are since both me and my husband are in the country. It will be AOS, so I believe the nvc has to transfer the case back to usics once a visa is available. It super complicate and it sucks that not a lot of people are doing it while inside the US.

Idk where you looking at and what's your filing status, ours is i130 petition permanent resident filing for spouse and on the website it's says they are processing august 2016 cases but actually started September cases as well. My wife she already has an b1/b2 visa for 10 years and I was very scared to call her here for visit as she has break from university so finally she's here and 'll be going back after a month.
Are you talking about movement in I-130 approvals? Or when you are going to be able to submit the rest of the documents. Our I-130 is approved and just waiting for the bulletin to move so we can submit the rest of the paperwork for AOS under "Dates for filling"

Guys our case was approved today (29th august 2017) finally, pd 22 Sept 2016.
Congrats! How is your PD 22 sept 2016 and you are approved? My husbands' is August 24 and table 2 says they are currently working on April 2016. Am I missing something? He is in the country with a valid status and we plan to do AOS once the bulletin moves. What was your process like?

Hey guys,
I received a letter from NVC stating..
"We returned immigrant visa petition MNL2016******* to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). If you have more questions about this case, please contact USCIS".
What does this mean? Did any of you guys who are in AOS received this?
I think this means that USCIS will start processing your case. When I spoke with USCIS last, thats what the lady explained to me, when a visa becomes available NVC transfers the case back to USCIS for processing.

Guys!
Huge movement on the May Bulletin for "Dates for Filling" for everybody that is currently inside the US!

Can everyone with PD July, August, September, October post his I-130 approval (NO2) date?
This way we could see where the processing is at the moment. Please post your Visa Center location as well.
PD August 24th 2016
NOA2 January 12th 2017

Which service center was he? Was he F2A?
Originally Vermont, but was transferred to California, F2A category and he is inside the country if that makes a difference on the processing times (I don't think it does).

Hello inspirers,
I have priority date of 16 November, 2016 and my i130 hasn't been approved yet.
Any ideas on how much time will it take for USCIS to provide NOA2?
Thanks in advance
Hi Adarsha,
My husband's PD is 26th of August 2016, his I-130 got approved on the 12th of January.

Yes I saw the Vb too. Congratulations to everyone for their IL. I hope I get mine soon...
There was more information in the VB as follows:
D. VISA AVAILABILITY IN THE COMING MONTHS
FAMILY-sponsored categories (potential monthly movement)
Worldwide dates:
F1: Up to several months
F2A: Up to one month
F2B: Up to five weeks
F3: Three or four weeks
F4: Two or three weeksThe above final action date projections for the Family and Employment categories indicate what is likely to happen on a monthly basis through May or June based on current applicant demand patterns. Readers should never assume that recent trends in final action date movements are guaranteed for the future, or that "corrective" action will not be required at some point in an effort to maintain number use within the applicable annual limits. The determination of the actual monthly final action dates is subject to fluctuations in applicant demand and a number of other variables.
What do you think this means exactly? That dates will be close to current?

When I called the USCIS to speak with a supervisor, she told me that we can actually file AOS but it won't be processed until the PD is current. Has anybody done or heard of that? I don't want my petition to be rejected because the PD isn't correct.
-
We just got an email from NVC that says that they received our case, I guess thats good. It is so strange that the filling table has not moved in months.

I did, I believe everyone receives this. I let the NVC know that I'm proceeding with adjustment of status through USCIS and they said thank you and please ignore the directions we sent as these were for visa processing.
Some people say it's even ok if you completely ignore the letter.
Thanks,
I believe we should be getting that in the mail soon. After you got the letter, did you get another one from the USCIS when your PD was approaching? Or did you just file your AOS when the PD became current?
-
Guys,
Did all of you receive a letter from NVC even though you are doing AOS inside the US?
-
Thanks very much guys!
My accountant actually recommended that my husband gets an ITIN number so we can file jointly and I can claim him as a dependent.
-
Hey guys!
I am in a similar situation to all of you. PD Aug 2016, my husband is on an F-1 visa and we have the I-130 approved. Has any of you claimed your spouses as dependent on your tax returns? How does that work? He doesn't have a SSN so that makes it a little difficult. Does anybody know? Thanks!

Hey guys,
I have a question for anybody that might be in my situation. I am a permanent resident that filled an I-130 for my spouse who is an F-1 student (PD is August 2016).When the beneficiary is in the country the process seems a little different from what most of you have gone through.
Does anybody have any experience with a spouse that is in the US? I get a little lost after the I-130 approval, am I supposed to wait until USICS sends me a letter letting me know that a visa is available? Or should I just watch the priority dates and file when the date is current. Also what about the "dates for filling" vs "final action dates." Please share your experience if you have been though this. Thank you and good luck to everybody! -

DC/Baltimore AOS
in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports
Posted · Edited by mello0o0
Hi everyone! I just wanted to share my experience. Me and my husband live in MD and filled for him as a LPR. He came to the States on a B2 and later switched to F1. Here is our timeline:
08/18/2016 - Got married
08/23/2016 - Filled I-130
01/12/2017 - I-130 Approval
Chart B date becomes current
10/04/2017 - Filled I-485 + I-765 + I-131
10/20/2017 - Biometrics Appointment
12/18/2017 - Approval of I-765 + I-131
12/22/2017 - Got the TRAVEL + EAD
EAD is about to expire
09/24/2018 - Filled for renewal of I-765 + I-131
10/18/2018 - Online status says "We completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your I-765 form"
It has been almost 13 months as of today and I know it is still within the normal processing times but damn it, its so frustrating. Anybody else that filled for a renewal of EAD?
