Congrats!! I have a question...you submitted your documents to Texas but Nebraska was your service centre. Was it rerouted to Nabraska?

I submitted my I 751 in Nov 2018, Got a notice of receipt, received Nov 29, 2018 with a notice date of Dec 13,2018. Up till now, my receipt number cannot be found on USCIS website yet. When I checked processing times for Texas, it showed they are still processing applications for April 2018. Anyone in my shoe??

Another October 2016 Flier. ...My adjustment of status application approved within 3weeks of Fraud Interview. Received my Greencard yesterday...Glory be to God. Next thread in 3yrs....Application for Citizenship. But guys, since our marriage is over 1year before the Greencard, we should be able to apply for Citizenship in 2years after the GC. Or is the 3years from the day you got your GC or 3yrs Marriage anniversary

Hi all...Did the 2nd interview today....and yes it was a stroke interview....went very well...got there with my wife 8.20am. I was called in first at about 9.01am. The officer introduced himself and said he was not the one that interviewed the first time so he has questions for me. Sworn to tell the truth and the question began...state the full name and date of birth of your wife and spell it, same with my full name. Same for my step daughter. What visa did I come to the country with? Did I graduate? Where does you wife work? Whats your highest qualification, what's ur wife's highest qualification....where does she work, what's the name of your daughters school and where is it located.....a lot of questions that if you are not leaving together, it will b difficult to answer....they interviewed me for 45min, called my wife in and wishing 15min, that was it...they just asked her to confirm the answers I provided. After the interview, I asked the guy how soon do we get feedback and he said as soon as he can...we were correct in all our answers except for like 2 and he said it's ok as he has not seen anyone that got all answers accurate. We walked away feeling happy...hop to share the good news soon

I just received my EAD card in the mail today....pray everyone get theirs soon too.

What was the reply on your service request? To me they sent a letter stating that everything was being processed and that if I didn't receive a status update within the 90 days timeframe I should call them. Did you get a letter like that?
No....just got a response same day that my case was assigned to an officer

I just got a message from USCIS; new card is being produced. My case was active for 84 days. So yeah, the wait was beyond exhausting and literally dragging but we all have to hang in there. Here's my timeline:
Oct 4 case was received
Nov 18 Did my Biometrics
On my 76th day, I filed for a service request online
Dec 28 received notification of production for the new card
Case is being worked by National Benefits Center
I was on F1 visa and did concurrent filing
-
My service center is same with you National Benefit Center, did my biometrics in Dallas, Texas(tried doing early walk in but was turned back cos the crowd was much...Dallas is known for too much workload)... Noticed u got ur I-130 approved first but I did concurrent filling. F1 and B1/B2 timeline will be much slower than our K1 counterpart....
-
Got similar timeline juliak....did biometrics Nov 18.
-
Any F1 Oct fliers here?
-
Jst got my biometrics appointment today scheduled for 18th Nov but I will go in tommorow by 9am.
My filing date was Oct 4th also, I will advice you to be patience... It might come in this week
-
Hello kendo, you are not alone, have similar date with yours and am not in receipt of my biometrics letter yet.
What state are you and are you changing status from a non immigrant visa like F1 cos that matters too
-
Is anyone from Dallas Texas with similar timeline?
Am yet to get my biometrics appointment letter
-
I have a similar timeline but yet to receive my biometrics appointment
AOS (130, 765, 131, 485) Package sent.... Oct 01
Received by Chicago....Oct 04
Sent to NBC in Missouri (don't recall this date..)
Received paper NOA.... Oct 19
Really getting worried now
-
Am part of the oct fliers too... Waiting for biometrics appointment too...I am hoping to get my AP and EAD approved before the end of this year...what do you guys think?
-
Thank you all for your response so far. My first semester is summer semester so I have already taken 2 semesters already.
My challenge now is I really cannot afford continuing in school cos of the tuition fee and wouldn't also want to be be out of status before applying for AOS.
Maybe I will just wait for another 3month and risk being out of staus? More suggestions are welcome please.
Thank you

I entered the United States on F1 visa in May 2016 (3month ago), met my wife here in the states and we got married 2weeks ago. My question is
1. Can I start filling for my Adjustment of Status immediately I receive my marriage certificate?
2. Do i need to include the followi g documents - joint account, joint leasing, Utility bills and so on with my AOS application and do I need to wait for it to run for some months?
3. Would it be an issue that I got married within 3month of entering the united states with an F1 visa?
