  1. As I see it. I am glad they are going by NOA1 dates (if in fact they are???) I do not want to slip in, in front of the older petitioners. Just like I don't want petitioners that have filed after me get approved before me. The only thing that should disrupt the flow is RFE's and I'm not only referring to the IMBRA fiasco. Any RFE can kick your petition out of the consecutive flow. That’s why it is soooooooo important to get your petition correct the first time.

I've been kicking around here long enough to utter more than once "What's up with this crapola" referring to yer extended hiatus.

I was also on line real early today as I was talking to my Sweetie in China and I noticed your sig then that said NOA2. So I went and searched for your announcement post for three pages and couldn’t find one. I almost posted something then asking what’s up with no post. But I didn’t post anything. So I checked again later today and finally found a congratulatory post for you.

    Damn nice to hear the news. An yer right I can think of five regulars that need this to happen to them too. So come on lets root for;

    1. iniibig (man you need to be wit yer sweetie)

    2. Icy (I Like yer avatar)

    3. KitKat (needs to quit updating her sig everyday)

    4. Wolf (come on you've waited long enough)

    5. sleepless (You need some sleep again)

    6. menq (not a reg, but waiting too dang long too.)

  3. Has anyone from CsC got approved With the NOA1 date for the month of July? Or any with the NOA1 dates after June 20th. ???????????????????????????????/

As far as I can see ursy they are not working on any petitions from the new I-129f forms. They are working solely on the cases from the old form (IMBRA) as it should be. Once the IMBRA RFE's are cleared up we can expect some handling or touching. Can't blame you for the anticipation but we need to wait out turn.

I play the percentage game for touches. This week i surmise a touch at 60% if no touch then I guess 70% for next week etc. when I get to 90% then I'll say 95%, 96%,,, i hope it never gets to 99.9999999999999% i'd be totaly postal by then.

BYW, funny post Uling. You forgot what thread you were in.

  4. VJ represents a tiny percentage of people filing K1s. I don't think the wait discourages people - it's not like we have another choice that would be faster aside from the lucky few who can direct consular file.

I don't think it's about the number of petitions they have to manage. It's the way they have mishandled it that is the real problem.

I would have taken bets that you were going to be the first to answer this post kitkat1 (well I also considered the wench as a possible first). I agree with you on the mishandling. I know that no amount of wait is going to discourage me. I was more or less trying to imply that the rocky road taxes petitioners. It hasn't me and mine but I've read posts here that exude that feeling.

I hope you get to stop updating your signature with the length of your wait and finally get to post the much sought after NOA2 date.

  5. I agree with you completely.... I feel terrible for everyone effected by this. Others just simply do not understand the waiting game and the nonsense associated with it. In the end it is all worth it for the one we love, but in the meantime it is literally a living hell.

Thanks! Your understanding is appriciated. Please note that it would not make me feel better to have VSC petitioners wait longer but only to have CSC petitioners wait less.

Good luck with the rest of your journey.

  6. Anybody ever given much thought as to how many pending petitions there are. For some reason I feel there are only about 10% or less of the petitioners that are members of this forum. Heck I didn’t find VJ’s until after I submitted my petition. This could account for the delays. (I know this doesn't explain the speediness of VSC).

The way I see it when they announced they needed to send out RFE’s concerning IMBRA they said they had to send out over 10,000 RFE's. That announcement came early in June (correct me if I'm wrong) and it only included petitions post March 6th 2006. So in essence their saying that in a two month span they get over ten thousand petitions. We don’t have nearly that many petitioners on board here that fit into that slot.

So if they really get that many, could they be trying to discourage petitioners by extending their wait.

    Just wondering.
