Here is some information for whatever it's worth. According to the app my case was approved on January 24. I never received a text or email for the NOA2 and would not have known but for daily checking the app.
They mailed my hard copy the next day on the 25th and I received it today on the 30th. So 6 days from approved until hard copy in hand.
Still hoping for all of you waiting for NOA2...I will give updates through NVC so others have some time estimates as they go forward. After that it is pretty embassy specific I think.
good luck to everyone this week!

Were 14 approvals from the 500 I ran tonight for the October 31 fillers.
I was one of them!!! Hope others here were in that group as well and that all the rest of you get approvals soon. Looks like they are at least moving some petitions after the shutdown.
gonna go call my fiancée now

I know a lot of folks are getting discouraged and upset about the waiting times, so I hope this helps..
for October 31 filers out of roughly 202 worked petitions 137 have been done in the last two weeks
so they are working again on I-129f's...at this rate that date should be cleared out in the next 8 working days
the vast majority of these petitions get approved...it's just a waiting game...hang in there folks

Ran a partial search for 10/31 filers. Again they seem to batch between 11:00-11:30 EST.
at least 9 approvals in the section I ran....hopefully there were more.

Hmmmm. very interesting.
I ran mine and it said zero approvals for 10/31
I'm searching from WAC1790049048 plus 500. I was not able to find any I-129F's for 10/31 prior to that WAC number.
I don't recall seeing any AFTER WAC1790049548
I will double check.
What WAC are you starting at?
Jim
Hey Jim,
I only started with WAC1790049194 and ran the next 500 which includes 298 I-129f for our date

How are you and Jim getting different case results? (27 cases worked on vs 0?)
Hey fishe,
good question as we are both using the same app.
first, Jim did not say that 0 cases were worked on January 13th, he said that there were 5 RFE if I am not mistaken. Which is exactly what I showed on my app at 3:00 pm Est.
The short answer is that Jim is running his search before the final batch of the day on some days and I am running them after. Jim is one of the most valuable members of this community especially for filers in our month. I and many others have gotten valuable information and advise from him. So his post discrepancies from mine only reflect the timing of when at night we run the search.
Also when you look at Jim's numbers you will see that he is running a full search of the October 31 filers, which is accurate at the time he runs the search. I am only running a partial so my final numbers only include 298 of the October 13 filers. Jim is going the extra mile and running all which is an incredible value to me and the rest of this community.
If he runs the search again tomorrow and posts you will probably see a change in the numbers.

I ran a partial search of October 31 filings (298 I-129f's) for January 13 (Friday) and of those there were 20 new approvals and 7 RFE, making a total of 27 new cases worked on Friday the 13th. They seem to batch at around 11:30 est each night for the days progress and 1:00 pm for the morning work.
This to me is really good news. Wish Monday wasn't a holiday.

Thank you SO MUCH mountainsea!
I'll start to update here for mid-November filers. No sense starting regular updates right away as there are basically no cases worked - but I will as we get closer.
For receipt date 11/14: I think the first I-129F is WAC1790069683. If this is correct, then there are 446 total I-129F with 11/14 receipt date. Of these, 441 are unworked, and 5 were rejected (for forms not signed). No RFEs or approvals yet. When it starts moving on approvals/RFEs I will begin posting on it. I believe this number is SO high because Friday, Nov. 11th was a federal holiday - so the 14th is the receipt date for any applications that arrived at the USPS dropbox location after mail was picked up on Thursday, Nov. 10th through the pick up on the 14th.
Wow!! That is a massive number for one day based on the previous quarter averages for the year. I am sure the holiday weekend played a role, but I'm betting November filings were up significantly. Will be interesting to see when they release 4th quarter figures.

The Philippine President had some disagreements with Obama called him some names. Talked of cutting off certain military and economic ties with America and wanted to focus with China and Russia instead.
Trump added later that countries with muslims could have terrorist and therefore should be heavily vetted or restricted from coming to USA all together, well there are terrorist muslims in the Philippines known as ABU Sayef. These two things combined caused some concern as to if Filipino's would be able to come to the USA. In my opinion this is just chest puffing on all sides. I don't see a huge number of K-1 filers from the Philippines because of this issue. It was zero factor in my filing the I-129F. I can track to see how many Nov and Dec filers are from the Philippines but even if they are a lot as you say USCIS is not working them no mater where they are from.
Jim
Hey Jim,
how are you tracking which beneficiary country's are represented? I have no idea how to tell that.

Mountainsea, how are you running this search? I'm not in a computer or numbers-crunching related field for a reason. How are you able to do a large search without knowing individual case numbers?
No problem...I am not either. I simply downloaded an app to track petitions from Apple Store (other devices have similar apps). I then took my receipt number and went back until I found the first receipt number from my filing date (31 October). Then can search forward 500 at a time.
-
I didn't run a full search for October 31 filers, but did a small one and saw that yesterday there were 11 approvals and at least 2 RFE. Today (again a partial search) and there were at least 13 new approvals and 4 RFE. I feel pretty positive about that.

I am curious as to whether that is provided by user generated data, rather than pulling from USCIS data.
As far as I know the receipt numbers are simply assigned sequentially as the petitions are received and do not contain beneficiaries country of origin. Maybe I am wrong on this and there is a way to tell that from receipt number? I know you can tell from pulling the number what kind of petition it is, but from which country?
if you can't tell, then I would suspect user entered data and simply an error. That or the December date was from an RFE as someone else mentioned.
-
I see, so all of the cases that were received only on that day? Seems like a lot of cases for just one day.
Yes I-129f's received on that day. Is a little high compared to the average from this year. My very inaccurate math shows that they were averaging around 188 in the first quarter on business days and 216 in the third quarter of this year. Of course every day was unique and any individual day may have been much higher or lower. That day was a Monday so might have captured Friday and Saturday delivery pushing the numbers up.
-
Maybe this is a stupid question but...
Is this 14 out of 360 cases that are the total amount of cases for November or total amount of cases for a certain date in November?
It's based on cases that were received at the Texas lockbox on October 31.
-
I think when I looked earlier there were like 5 RFE's issued today for the 10/31 received.
So 1 approved and 5 RFE. Well I guess at least someone is working in California. Just not in the direction I would have hoped.
-
Hello everyone, I sent my packet 11/21 received 11/23 still nothing :/ Lewiston lockbox
Welcome aboard.
Did you fill out the form to receive an email/text?
Either way you can check to see if your check has been cashed.
Until about two weeks ago electronic confirmation of acceptance was taking about 4-5 businesses days from delivery in Texas. But that seems to have slowed down as has everything else since around thanksgiving week.
I saw that at least one forum member sent their petition on the 18th and check was cashed on the 28th. But they had yet to receive confirmation electronically.
Given the slow down from holidays I would not worry about the time at this stage. Your paperwork was received the day before thanksgiving. You should hear something soon.
-
There were two federal holidays this month plus the election...my guess is that those effected a slow down...even if we don't see early November filers getting approved until next week, that is still a really good turn around for this stage.
Still, I would love to see some approvals tomorrow and the rest of the week.
Jim,
Appreciate all the efforts you make here tracking the timelines and giving folks advice. Hope you get some good news this week!
