It's midnight here. My fiance just picked up his passport at his hometown location in India. The CEAC status STILL says "administrative processing", but the passport had the visa in it. AHHHHHHHHHH THANK GOD!!!! I am in tears.. in a good way this time. Thank you all for your good wishes. I am shaking!! Now just to get him here asap! I am BEYOND relieved and happy.

Ok everyone.. i panicked for nothing.. I called the NVC again.. the had my file and my case number was ready.. /YAY!!!!!

I know how you feel getting that notice... but don't worry too much.. at least they just want one more thing from you and then they will approve you.. you are only a few weeks away from an approval now.. longer wait than you wanted but it's just around the corner..

AHHHHHHH!!!!! Approved!! Approved!! Approved!!!!! I am sooooo Happy!!!!!! Tasha.. and all others.. Waiting to hear from you now!!!!!!!!

And it needs to be the original signed by the petitioner.

Yes, but they contact you and give you this number when they are ready... they must go crazy with everyone calling them..

I got the number within about 10 days to 2 weeks to track my case.. i never needed to call them and, in fact, i was told NOT to call them by my immigration attorney unless more than four weeks had passed. I received an email from them with my tracking number.

Hey Allison, I totally get it.. I almost can't even keep reading all the approvals here because mine has not been approved yet also... it sound so stupid to be upset over such a short time in our lives.. very dramatic but the days really do tick by slowly. It's true your approval is just around the corner and it seems like forever because you just don't know exactly when. Hang in there.. you'll get it soon. I am still waiting for the RFE in the mail. 5 days now wondering what the heck they want from us and freaking out thinking "what if I don't have what they are asking for" Plus furious this has delayed things by maybe three more weeks or so. waiting.. waiting.. waiting... you're not alone in the waiting or in the frustration. or for feeling stupid for feeling overly dramatic about it all.

Tasha, you are so sweet. Thank you for the support. I guess I am a little too emotional about it. How dare they question the authenticity of my relationship.. ha ha. And waiting another three weeks to go through the RFE seems like forever - even though I know, logically, that is not much time.

I don't know if ours is 100 pages, but it's long. I handed in EXACTLY what we handed in last time that got an approval in 4 weeks! And our immigration lawyer put it together for us that time, so I was pretty confident handing this one in on my own this time. But now everyone else that filed way after me (I filed July 1st) is getting their NOA2 so I'm starting to feel a little nervous. I'm just going to think positive these next couple of weeks.
