Congrats, happy valentines and happy tet!
-
The interview is only hours away; Good luck!
-
so i've been waiting for my package to arrive from my fiance with his signed g-325a, passport photo, etc.
it came today. and his photo is SMALLER than the one i recently took. is it absolutely necessary it is 2x2? everything else about his photo is perfect.
I did the exact same thing, and what I did was have my fiance take and send me another photo with her name on the back. I included the photo, along with the copy of NOA1, a brief letter regarding the mistake with the case number included on the letter, and the picture in a plastic bag stapled to the letter.
Just being careful, even though some have said to get noa2, even with the smaller photo.

I'm probably one of the first to file for january. NOA1 was fairly quick. Good luck to everyone, it's gonna be a long tough trip.
-
wow, novembers rolling in already!
-
Congrats on a fast NOA2.
Hopefully I can get mine done just as fast
-
I guess i'm in the overdone croud. I sent quite a few pictures as well as a copy of the engagement dvd.
I also sent all of the emails(results from a search filter with fiance's email addy) and phone logs.
-
I hope they dont give me an rfe for using the old form
-
I had the same feeling when I sent in my package, and 4 days later, I received NOA1 in the mail, not knowing that I actually received NOA1 in only 2 days after they received it... Patience is a virtue that we all need. It's been 2 weeks since I've been with my loved one, and I miss her, but I must be patient.

On a positive note, I sent in my 129F package and they received it the 4th and I got NOA1 the 8th of this month. They're doing something
-
I just want to make sure that I got everything right before I send the package for I-129F out.
1) cover letter
2) the filled out I-129F form
3) my copy of birth certificate (front and back)
4) intent to marry form (one from her and one from me)
5) photo of her and photo of me with our names on the backs (wasn't sure if these should be loose in the envelope or attached to anything)
6) money order for $170
7) G-325A form for her and for me (all 4 copies for both)
8) Pictures of us together for the past year and a half
I think this is it. Am I missing anything? I am not sure what to do with the photos. Do I just throw them in the envelope and hope they don't fall out and get lost?
Please people who have done this let me know if I got it all so I can send it out. Thanks!!!
I also included a 1 page letter of how I met my fiance, explained in detail
plane ticket stubs, ring receipts, emails, chats, phone logs

I made the same mistake, how would I send in the new passport photo(i have the negatives, and hopefully a reprint wont be hard to do)? I'de like to send more of the chats on my computer as well.

I'm sorry, but you ARE going to marry someone that you have not yet met. This is clearly a larger issue - how on earth can you know that this is the person that you want to spend the rest of your life with when you have never met him? Never held his hand, looked into his eyes...??
This is the kind of stuff that makes me crazy. There's all kinds of couples out there just dying to finally be together for good... who are in love, who have MET, who have travelled in all kinds of conditions, just to be together for a few days at a time... and we have to wait and wait and wait while USCIS and the rest have to sift through petitions of "couples" who have never met.
But, like I said, that's clearly a larger issue.
In some cultures, that is tradition, and marriages work out fine... a lot better than american marriages; That being said, it's a culture issue, and AFAIK, mexico does not have that type of culture or tradition. That's the only legit reason I can see where someone were to waive the meeting in person. Originally, I wanted to opt for that solution as well, since I had not seen my fiance in 6 years; I sucked it up and went to vietnam... well worth the trip to reunite with a loved one.

Please help us. My fiance and I are filling I-129f Form. Hopefully we will send all paperwork before 20 January 07. He is a resident of FL, and we heard so many things about TSC- the processing time is too slow.. We hope that submiting our petition (I-129F) before 20 January 2007 I can get in USA in June 2007 with K1 visa in my passport. What do you think- are we too optimistic? Thank you
are you really from kazakhstan?
June 2007 sounds possible, but not likely. I just filed a few days ago; welcome to the club

I didnt send in the beneficiary's birth certificate. I read the guides(fiance 129F) and didnt mention it.
Do I need to send it?
-
I called this morning and spoke with a representative, and they said it would be fine. I sent mine out this morning; Now the countdown begins!
-
I have the same problem; Hopefully I can contact them tomorrow to clarify. My paperwork is ready to go as well

I am doing my 325a right now, and I searched and couldnt find an answer:
Do I check naturalization 3 times and Other once?
I am filing 129F on january 2nd
Maybe your question is unclear but all four pages of the form should reflect the identical information
I downloaded from the example forms, and I see that they have 3 marked naturalize, and 1 marked Other 129F
if they are all identical, then that would be easy

I want to start my paperwork next year since I cant do it this year. Anyone know if they are available, or of the current forms are available? I dont want any troubles with the paperwork.

Did you pay for a service to do your paperwork or self service?
A buddy of mine is doing a k1 soon, and he suggested that I let someone else handle the paperwork. Is it worth having someone else handle your paperwork?

delutional women like her are the reason why men seek other options. This article was pretty funny.
someone is bitter
She's just another ignorant, prejudiced, and misguided male-basher using distorted facts and invalid assumptions to sell newspapers.not to mention Arrogant

I have no touches; Received noa1 around the 6-8th. First few weeks of waiting was really hard; Now I'm pretty calm about the situation.
