Went to interview on May 26th 2021 - got denied , appealed the denial with N-336 in July, got an notification update last Monday that they recommended my N-400 for approval now and I am in line for oath ceremony (oath ceremony scheduled) status since Aug 9th. Can I know how long it takes for them to send the oath ceremony notice? My field office generally do oath at the same day of interview for successful candidates, so hoping it should not be a long wait for them to send oath ceremony notice. Thank you.
Did you check online? The documents gets uploaded there (if you applied online). My interview was on a thursday, final approval that same day and on the saturday I received a notification by email that the oath ceremony was scheduled for 8/17. The letter itself arrived 10days after the document being uploaded online

Wednesday 18th. .I have appointment at Downtown office. Then the dust would have finally settled.
I think it'll be handed back Friday since my flight is Sunday 22nd. So, I'd say Friday is the day it finally settles.
Don’t you think you’ll be able to get your passport that same day (8/18)?

I think you can get an early pp appointment in emergency cases but I’m not entirely sure. Do you remember when you had your bio appointment? I’m trying to gauge at my possible interview date and I had bio done last month.
They took down the online scheduling appointment for Houston and that office doesn’t accept walk in so I really don’t know if I should writr a letter explaining the situation and asking to reschedule from Sept 23rd (return date + 10days quarantine per letter requirement) or just cancel our trip which is fully paid and non refundable ;( seems like a spoiled person comment but we have family joining us there and well...
I applied july 30th 2020, got bio reuse letter in Feb. interview letter received in June for July 29th. From there everything is moving pretty fast actually. Good luck to you :)

Hi Everyone,
I had my interview this past thursday at the Gears rd office in Houston, was recommanded for approval and my case was updated this morning: oath ceremony is scheduled for 8/17. I have an international trip planned early september. I had mentioned this trip to the officer during the interview and she advised that I could reschedule (I doubt that I’ll be able to get my passport in time even in emergency processing).
I’m concerned of missing the 8/17 ceremony and that the second one will be scheduled prior me coming back mid-september (and there is a 10 days quarantine when coming back from overseas).anybody has had success recently getting passport in emergency processing?
thanks for your advises

Good day Everyone, need some advises please:
I’m scheduled for an interview for July 29th at the Houston field office, if all goes well my understand is that sometime in August the oath ceremony would therefore be scheduled. My issue is that I had schedule a trip overseas departing Sept 1st for 2 weeks and I don’t believe I would ever get a passport on time even with the fast processing and I can’t re-enter the US with the naturalization certificate. I know we can reschedule the oath but if the second date falls during my time abroad I’m at risk of having my application withdrawn... so at this point is it better to reschedule the interview for a further date so that I don’t miss the oath ceremony? Or better to do the interview as scheduled and rescheduled the oath, possibly 2 times ?? I know you won’t provide me with legal advises but what would you do ?? :( thanks a lot (I can’t postoned this trip)

Yes I went alone. Mine was based on 3 years marriage but no ROC required.
I had an early morning interview so the day before I did a test run to Gears Road. I’m glad I did as I subsequently decided to leave 30 minutes earlier on interview day.
Awesome! Thanks a lot! Same here no ROC. Have you had your oath ceremony already! Was it long?

Hi Everyone!
Just received my N400 interview notice scheduled for July 29th. Application based of the 3 years marriage. I initially intended to go there with my husband but the letter advised that due to covid restriction only lawyer are allowed. For those who had the interview already did you go alone? Thanks :)

SRC1990524
Applied mid-August 2019
Biometrics mid-November 2019
App tracker just told me case is approved.
We sent GC, DL showing same address, 2017+18 IRS tax transcripts (no W2s), Deed on the house, memberships, joint bank account, joint credit card statements, utilities showing both names, chat conversations between us, photocopies of cards received, travel arrangements for the last 3 years, 35 photos with names, dates and place, 3 letter from friends and family (not notarized).
Wishing all of you to get an answer soon 🙂
Hi Franklann did it went to card in production or just case approved ?

Hello! Just got a text to notify me that my card was being produced.
so it went from biometric received (december 2019) to card produced yesterday. There was no status in between such as “case approved” neither “interview being scheduled”...
so we’ll wait in see
One awkward thing, on the case history it shows they updated the name, I had not requested name update so we’ll see on that too
I was concerned on this name update and called USCIS, spoke with Tier 2 officer who advised the case to still be pending. They will enquire abt this issue on the notification... so case might still be pending after all...

Same timeline, except I dropped if off at FedEx on the 1st, but after the pickup has been made that day... So yeah, delivered and signed for on Monday afternoon. Still no charge on my credit card and I am freaking out!
(I mean... I know it's too early to full on freak out, but that has never stopped me.)
Was it for Dallas as well?

Hi guys, I will be sending my package in 2 weeks. Did you guys send yours thru USPS express or the priority mail is fine?
I sent mine through Fedex, it was weekday delivery I paid $9 I believe but it seems our package was a little light compared to what I’ve been reading since yesterday

Guys how many months or years of bank statements have you attached on your package? By reading other threads I noticed some people putting years of bank statements while we only attached the latest statement that we had available (june or July) for each of the accounts we have. Now i’m getting scared this is a huge risk for an rfe ;(

Not sure yet i mailed it friday 8/2, was delivered Monday 8/5 and waiting for first NOA.
you might want to ask the June or July filers instead then but i’ve never seen the need for new photographs

To give you an idea (I’m in Houston) notification on website 7/31, received on the mail on 8/09, oath 8/17. Good luck! I would call uscis in a few days if you still dont have the letter just to make sure you don’t miss the ceremony in case the letter is delayed further in the mail
