    Green card and extension have expired. Petition to remove conditions not resolved. Naturalization application pending. Am currently working but can I apply for additional work given my expired green card status?

      I remain in the USA. Am currently working part-time. I would like to apply for additional part-time work but since my green card and extension have expired I fear it would be rejected.

      You may have trouble with form I-9 without proof of your status. However, if you're applying for additional work at the same company they shouldn't need to re-validate I-9. I would advise getting an Infopass Appointment scheduled ASAP.

      Kai, wanted you to know that your advice was met with GREAT SUCCESS! Armed with your info about InfoPass, I called again to USCIS and, once again, was stuck in its circular voice mail system with no way out. However, when the voice asked, "what can I help you with?," I mentioned InfoPass., Immediately the system forwarded me to a live person. Making a longer story short, within days we were scheduled for two interviews: removal of conditions for permanent residence and, amazingly, naturalization which comes just four after months after our application.,
