I think k1’s that filed when we did got stuck in a weird hole. Since ALL I-485’s now get interviewed, that’s when the k1’s get their interview so we are the last stragglers that are ROC and haven’t yet gotten an interview by uscis
Did you have an AOS interview as well?

That’s really good to know @saeshhh. Thank you for sharing!
I’m glad you made it work!Thank you @USC4SPOUSE Yes for anyone who’s drivers license expires and the extension letter, keep calling and try to escalate it to an emergency reason. Obviously if you’re working like me you need a license at all times. Unfortunately it’s tough times to get an appointment.

@saeshhh, I remember that the best times to look for an infopass appointments were right at midnight and also early mornings before work, say between 6am and 8am. People tend to cancel or reschedule appointments around that time.
Thing is I wasn’t even able to get an appointment. I called USCIS they gave me a service item # and then the appointment scheduler was giving me a call back. So 3 times the person was unable to schedule me cause the next two weeks ahead were fully booked. The 4th time the person on the phone finally escalated me to an emergency appointment and now I can finally get my stamp.

This is so frustrating:
Case ready to be scheduled for an interview since October. Extension letter and my drivers license expired since may 20, Infopass appointments are booked out since last month - I tried getting an appointment multiple times now and it’s always full. I don’t know what else to do to expedite this. -

Mine had two emails as well saying it was transferred on the 30th and Oct 1st with another case update but nothing different on October 2nd.
same boat for sure, hopefully no interview is required
Had the same thing happing to me, see my earlier post. I even got a letter from USCIS about it in the mail.

So... as far as I'm aware when we are applying for the i751 we get an 18 month kind of "limbo visa" as we wait for an interview or green card to be approved. Since everything is so delayed I'm wondering what happens if we don't hear anything within that 18 month limit? What do we do then?
I was reading about that too and we have to schedule an Infopass to get the I-551? Stamp in our passports once we’re close to the 18 month limit

Finally got an update on my case which I haven’t seen before here in this group.
My LIN Case changed to: Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction. They will mail me a notice. Anyone else got this? I hope that doesn’t reset the waiting time.

Congratulations!
mine is 2090003Xxx , and still waiting.
The paralegal suggested to call them and make a request why the case is taking so long . I don’t want to bother them .
What do you think, guys ?
LIN1990 and nothing yet

I’m a LIN filer too and I’m sure it’ll get close to that 18 month extension letter limit. Wich would be May. We’ll see, hoping for the best.
-
I am also a LIN filer and the status hasn’t changed since Case was received. I was reading somewhere here in the Forum that the Naturalization Filing Fee will increase to over 1000 by October. So we are planning on filing before to avoid the Increase.
See here -
Had my Biometrics Appointment today. Now we can really be back on the waiting game. One guy came with no ID and no letter and they did not let him in. So make sure you bring the Appointment letter + ID or at least your Greencard and the Appointment letter, just as it is stated on the letter itself.
-
We sent it September 23rd.
But as long as I have the extension letter I’m fine. I’m not stressing about this anymore.

So, looks like my case is in Nebraska center . Someone else has the cases there too ? I saw someone here from Chicago ( or IL) wrote update about speed process on her / his case , but can’t find these messages anymore. How fast is the process of Removing conditions in Nebraska?
We’re from Chicago also filing at Nebraska. No update yet on the case after the NOA

Just got all my files sent back saying it wasn't on the time yet. So why the hell did they send me a letter saying it was in the first place? Go figure.
When did you send it? And when does your Conditional Green Card expire?
-
Sent our package the 23rd and it got delivered today. We didn’t sent the form for the electronic notice, we’ll just take it easy this time.
Did you all sent the marriage certificate again? We had to send it with the AOS paperwork so shouldn’t they have it already. We also made sure we wrote down the A# on all papers we sent in case USCIS loses things on their end.

Hey guys,
back to doing Paperwork and this one seems like a 50/50 thing.
I´ve read a bunch of posts and I am preparing the Paperwork right now.
I´ll send you guys the final list once its done. We´re also a little late 67 days left

Hello fellas,
A long time since my last post so finally I'll give an update too.
First of all my card was in the Mail the Monday after Thanksgiving. No update online, I checked the USCIS online account there was no Info of Card being produced. So don't worry if nothing happens online maybe you'll just have the card in the mail. USCIS online status updated I January to card was mailed.
Second it's been now a year living here and it was a very fast one. We had our court wedding and moved in our new home, I got my job and a car, we had our wedding party and my family came over and then now we have a baby expecting in march this year. So many changes, so many tough days, stressful days and a lot of amazing days.
I hope you all are doing great too and hopefully you will get your cards soon. If you're having a glass in your hand while reading this... cheers to many more great years and lots of love..
Sascha

Today i received the response from USCIS to my Application:
Your application is pending Officer Review. We will forward this inquiry to the Officer.
It doesn't sound helpful but maybe the inquiry will speed it up a little, maybe not.

How long did it take them to respond to your service request? Mine was submitted almost 7 weeks ago and still isn't even assigned to anyone yet.
It took them a week. Maybe you should make another inquiry.

Hello Folks,
hope you all are working hard and enjoying the time with your loved ones as much as I do. Thinking back at all the traveling and the apart time.... idk how we mad it so far but here we are.
Anyway
I just did an online inquiry about my case since I haven't heard anything since March, well to be exact 7 months. They finished the inquiry and mailed out the decision
10/10/17. I'll keep you guys updated what's going on. The last status of my case was that they will check my RFIE response and mail me a decision. Let's hope everything is alright

Congrats to you all!
AP NOA recieved 3 days ago.
Now I am waiting for the Card in the mail.
This is a great start into May!!

Hey guys,
after filing online for an inquiry yesteterday (today is day 74 )(I know it was a little too early for that), finally my AP and EAD are now approved and a new card is in production. Mysterious how USCIS works...
To all of you:
I can say just to try all the options you have with expedite and inquiry and don't give your hopes up. Hopefully you all get approved soon. Sometimes it's just luck or your inquiry that gives them the last touch to approve it idk.
Hope you guys have a wonderful weekend

Are you attempting to expedite still although you no longer have a job offer? (That's what it sounds like).
I know the wait is very frustrating (for all of us). You have to remember that a request to expedite your EAD is simply a request, they are not required to expedite. Even many people with job offers or other valid reasons that meet the criteria to expedite don't receive one. I was lucky that I successfully expedited mine. You can always call and inquire about the request, does the request show up when you search your EAD case number on the USCIS website? You should be able to see as they progress through service requests.
According to vj processing times they are getting toward the end of January for EADs, so hopefully you hear something soon! Fingers crossed!
No it's a new job offer from a different company. Yes both requests show up but I never got an email or mail in the mailbox meanwhile online it shows up as completed. Nothing changed after I sent my proof tho :/ Well yeah hopefully they get their work done soon...
I wonder what made them being so behind with the cases....

I got my notice for my interview June 30 and a week later the interview was canceled:(
More waiting time I guess...
