  1. What is that magical 3rd n/a? Sorry I'm such a nooob lol

In the CEAC website page where you have the fees, documents and forms.

Everybody always have two N/A's in front of the documents boxes and two paid boxes in front of the fees if you made the payments already.

It was noticed by almost everyone that once the AOS fee changes from paid to N/A this means a case complete so u call and confirm.

I hope that made any sense lol

  2. From what I've seen with others, a week or so from now you'll get an email confirming they completed the case. Then, some time after that, which will depend on the embassy (weeks to months) the beneficiary will get a call or you'll get an email letter with the interview date.

I can tell you the "case complete" email does not come the day they complete the case. Ours was completed yesterday morning, but NVC has not yet sent an email, and in fact although NVC shows the case as complete in their system over the phone, CEAC still reflects NVC processing of documents. My suspicion is that they don't actually update the status in CEAC or send out the email until the case gets sent to the embassy, hence the delay in the notification.

Did you call to confirm the case is complete?

Oh thanks, yeah I agree with you.

No not yet, probably tomorrow I think.

  3. The magical precious 3rd N/A plus wrong name corrected on the CEAC website finally!!!!!

Wife will confirm by phone when off work GOD's will.

Scan date 5/10 on Supervisor review 18/11

And cc on 22/11 as we hope!

    Yaaaaaaaaaahhhhhoooooo!

I have not been that happy in awhile ...damn that consuming exhausting process ...

Thank you all guys for the support and unconditional help you provide

Wish the best for all of you.

  4. Ya I call from my office while I'm doing charting on a computer so I can leave my phone on speaker and sit on hold and write some notes. Doesn't cost any money for me.

The shortest wait times I tend to experience is right when they open (7am ESTish). I get to my office around 7am CST so after an hour I'll usually call. However I have noticed less friendly people at that hour than in the afternoon. Not sure why.

Good for you, international calls can bring a whole city bankrupted here :) and my wife work is a hands-on job so it is hard to do that early.

Probably still half-asleep, did not have coffee or breakfast and wondering why on earth those people are calling that early :) believe me I know, I worked as customer care for few months :D

I truly pray for the best of luck for everyone here.

  5. One of the callers tried to "argue" with me about when 6 weeks was for me. She tried to say it was on a Friday when my scan date was a Wednesday. I tried to politely say "My scan date was a Wednesday, so exactly 6 weeks would be a Wednesday not Friday". She sounded a little annoyed that I corrected her, but put it under supervisor review. I called first thing the next day to make sure she didn't just mess with me because she was annoyed. In retrospect though I should have just said "Okay", hung up and recalled.

    Your idea sounds better indeed.

I am not the one who makes the call though so I wonder about how much a call cost? Time and money aspects ... My wife is so dead busy and be on hold for an hour or something, as I have read many times here, is not really affordable for her...
