  3. Thanks

I haven’t done it because the Officer denied my AP telling me I had to wait until my I485 to
adjudicated but @CASTIELdid it several times.
I know you should be fine if you have the I131 approval you just have to get your AP document.

Deferred action it means you can't be deported from the U.S until final adjudication of your I-485.

Many members of visa Journey travelled with AP in the past and they didn't have any problem to reenter, but many things changed in the immigration Law in the past 3 weeks and I advise everyone now not  to travel abroad.

Your attorney should know what to do in this scenario. I am sure you can investigate when they sent the notice and they probably still have the tracking info for it saved. Have your attorney contact USCIS.

Your attorney can file a motion to reopen. The USCIS usually adjudicates within 90 days.

Current EAD processing times for category c9 are 3-5 months, so if it hasn’t been 5 months yet, you are within normal processing times.

Gm yall. My i360 was approved yesterday!!! I didn't know what to do with myself! I did  psychological evaluation after filing vawa December 2016 with the intention to send it if they had asked. No rfe, no prima facie. It took exactly 17 months.

Please be encourage family. Am praying for us all🙏

It’s the same process as when you intially apply. You need to send two passport sized pictures and a fee waiver or the fees. And there is an option on form I-765 for renewal (as opposed to initial application).
If your biometrics are less than 15 months old, they will most likely use the old ones and not invite you to take new ones.

I filed while I was going through divorce at that time, and I had insufficient evidence to prove good faith which ended up being the reason for denial.

On my second VAWA I exhusted every corner required proof, added new evaluation,  background record check, rewrote all my statements adding every little detail, every feeling I felt, the impact it had on me ...ext. Also I wrote a statement explaining why I don't have enough evidence to prove good faith and went on In detail and explained it all.
Added friends+family statements describing the impact it had on me + exempt for good faith + photos + emails + texts + social media posts + lease + bills + restaurants receipts ....

NYC local offices are taking 12/14months to schedule the AOS interview.

Is your field office New York or Queens? Check I-485 status for your office here:

    https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

use the date when your petition was forwarded to NBC.

Teacher063 reacted to Sandra G. in VAWA, Part 10
Deferred action is granted  to allow the person to remain in the U.S while waiting adjudication of the VAWA / AOS, but if the AOS is denied the person can be removed from the U.S.

You have options, you can sign jointly the petition, with USCIS counsel, to terminate the removal proceeding, or to file an Application for Adjustment of Status (Form I-485)once USCIS approves the I-360, the immigration judge will accept the I-485 and the Judge will make a decision  to Adjust Status. It's up to you.I prefer to adjust status with USCIS.

Hi guys, my journey is finally over! Had Interview 9:00am at federal plaza. Was in and out within 5 minutes.  I was asked name, address, my son's information and that was it🙏. Officer said have a good day rest of your day and he'll recommend  for approval. By the time I exited the building I got the welcome text! Thankyou to everyone who've shared their journey and most of all a special thankyou to Sandra for answering all my questions. Good luck everyone....

I ve also traveled to my country twice with my AP and had no problem. It takes not more than 10 minutes to re-enter the usa. They ask very basic questions, like “where did you go?” And “how long did you stay?” They don’t care or ask about your case status.
  24. Thanks

If you want/need it, yes. If you don’t want/need it, no. It’s completely up to you and your situation.

Look up your closest field office for processing times. I wouldn’t be surprised if NY was taking around 10 months for I-485 right now.
It’s about I-485 not I-360. That’s approved since may she said.
