Caught outside, meaning caught outside of the house? The guy above said no problem, and your kind of saying the opposite. Im confused...........
Yes, there will be no issues with USCIS if you file i believe.
But, if you havent filed yet and your wife is caught outside the house by US ICE that's another thing.

I dont think the case has expiration date but you NOA2 is valid only for 4 months. You need a valid NOA2 before your interview.
You can request an extension though.

If you file now, I dont think there would be issues. But if, you havent filed for your wife and she is caught outside by US ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), she could be jailed and could face deportation as she is considered undocumented and out of status.

My fiance doesnt have a Passport Book. He is never been outside U.S.
I met him in U.S. while visiting family.

My fiance is NOT the sweet type. You have to communicate if you want something or remind him like "babe get me something for xx". Doesnt bother me though.
Im the sweet type. I typically get him something. I also send gifts to his parents on special occasions like "Mother's Day", "Father's Day" and birthdays.
Why his parents too? Well, have to be grateful to the people who gave me the most wonderful person I know.

Happened to me before I was engaged.
Initially came to US under B1 visa to attend company workshop and conference. I met someone who asked me to out for coffee. We did had coffee once then we exchanged couple of SMS. Once, he sent a picture of a c*ndom with a note that "saw this while cleaning you might like the flavor". Being from a more conservative country, I responded in a polite way that he might had misunderstood things. and he sent me a message "You are just like any other asian you used me". I was like "What are you talking about? Is it the $3-ish coffee that you paid for? I got 10usd over here. I can give you a refund and you can keep the change"

To avoid hassle, just carry the 2-3 luggages, a carry on for valuables and docs. Carry what you need, sell off or give away your other stuff unless you truly cant let go of it.
For other stuff that you wanna keep and bring along with you, maybe you can consider getting a box, place all of them there and ship it as a package

Bank of America, td bank and citizens bank are friendly from what I gathered in the monthly aos threads I've been active on.
True. I opened my bank account with bank of america back then with my non-immigrant visa (B1/B2). They didnt even asked me for SSN just my passport and US mailing address. It didnt even matter if it is the neighbor's mailing address or somebody's office as long as you will be able to receive your actual debit card with that address.

Hi Everyone!
Saw the forum and cant help it but comment. I had been coming back and forth Georgia since 2014 til early this year before I met my fiance and we decided to settle down.
I stayed mainly in Duluth in the initial years then last year at Flowery Branch. I love Pleasant Hill because it is pretty much packed with asian goodies and since I am from Philippines.
Buford Farmer's Market Basically have a section for Philippine products, they have awesome baked pastries too.

For myself i have b1/b2 visa with immigration petition. I put this post on behalf of someone. Just to clarify....
There is no restriction as to how many times and how soon an applicant applies after a B1/B2 rejection but it is important to satisfy the CO on the next application.
Proof of ties to the country could include:
- Home/Car ownership in native country
- Proof of ownership of any asset
- If employed, Certificate of Employment and Certificate of Leave of Absence
- If self-employed, business permits
- Bank Certificate
- Picture of family members
- Marriage contract if married
- Birth Certificate of kids if applicable
Basically just anything that could justify that you are coming back: work, family, etc

Hello,
I highlighted my questions in black bold. I'm new to this forum. I am an American woman, and my fiance is from Russia. I have to start the fiance Visa this month so that I can bring him over here as soon as possible. Is it going to be super difficult if I'm doing this all myself without a lawyer? I'm very organized, and if given the proper instructions on everything I can do it myself. Has anyone else done the K-1 Fiance Visa themselves, and was successful... or in the process like me? Also is that site (rapidvisa.com) a scam or is it a real help?
If we have all the relationship proof, and I filled the forms and everything correctly...is there anyway they can just deny him the visa...just for the heck of it?
Anyways basically if I cannot bring him to America, than we agreed that we will just live together in another country where we both don't need visas....That's just plan B if we couldn't be together in USA, but I prefer that I try to bring him to America so we can be close to my family, and for him it doesn't really make a difference where we live as long as we are together.
We did the K1 process ourselves without the help of a lawyer. Different blogs and of course visajourney helped us a lot. Check my signature for our timeline.

I am suspecting a glitch on the system as everyone who tried taking the mentioned clearance after it has become an online process got "HIT". A week after I applied, they just search my name and print it directly. Took seconds. I dont think you should worry.

welcome in the forum.
please fill in your timeline, profile and any information that can help you get answers.
how you can get help if none can see what country and what embassy you talking about !
and which visa type? is this for K1?

The difference lies on the duration of your marriage. If marriage is over 2year then it is under IR, otherwise it is CR.
You can check this out:

Well, it looks like they have received our 221 g documents (which was more proof of relationship) but I have not received any email from them confirming this (unlike how others have mentioned they should a day after the embassy receives their 221 g documents). We only think this because 2GO lists our documents as received by Mr. Leonilo Bernardino on August 31 and when we checked the CEAC case tracker the status is updated to September 1.
What's the current CEAC Status?

Mine took a matter of seconds and they wont touch you.

Hi Dan and Radinka,
I wonder if there has been any updates on the status. Your interview date was close to mine.

"You're with a kano. You must be rich." Said to girl by the sister of the girl's father.
"You're with a kano. You must be a bar girl." Said to girl by same sister of the girl's father.
"You're only good enough to be a yaya." Said by same tita.
"The kano only wants you as a mistress." Said by same tita.
I like cheese. I don't like chismis.
Very typical for folks who live in a remote province. There is a huge difference between city life in PH versus province/rural life. Most people, who live in a remote place and stayed there all their lives, are misinformed unfortunately.
I dont like chismis too!
that's one of the reasons why i dont like my fiance to come to PH.
I am not really that close to my family and I dont want him to meet random titas who doesnt really give a d*mn with my life
...and We could save 1.5kusd in the process

Depends where you bought your ticket. Check the ticket on the price breakdown section and see if an amount of Php 1620 has been included. That is the travel tax.
I am a frequent flyer of Korean Airlines. Tickets booked via orbitz/marriott rewards/any third party doesnt include the travel tax yet.
Tickets booked directly from the website using PH settings will already include travel tax.
And Cebu, you will have to pay 750php terminal fee.

... they always have something to say?
hahahah! Well that's Asian Culture!

I did the "resend to your email" thing twice while I was in phils. Now that I'm back in the US, I still haven't gotten any email. And my fiancee's inbox doesn't have one, either. My fiancee's sister said Monday was a phils holiday but she didn't know which holiday it was, so that might have something to do with it. I don't know.
One big thing that concerns me (two, actually) is that my fiancee is very unsure of herself when filling out forms. And she's very unsure of herself with English, although that's the only language I know, and we communicate well enough. When she filled out her forms for SLEC and USEM, I was online with her the whole time, and she would give me each question so that I could give her an answer for her to put in the form. Very unsure of herself with the forms...
She can speak Filipino/Tagalog during CFO if she takes the CFO Manila and Bisaya if in CFO Cebu. She will need so much of your info while filling up the CFO form.

Confidence is one of the major cultural issue in the Philippines. As a child, we, filipinos are not taught to speak up for ourselves. We are taught not to respond to our parents even if we want to. It is considered disrespectful most of the time if we voice out our thoughts hence confidence is poorly developed. She would need your help on this one
