MPLS/St Paul was already one of the slower officers pre-covid. Given the shutdown plus the fact that I751 interviews seem to get lower priority, it could be a while :(  It really sucks that you need to interview again despite already having a K1 AOS interview and is basically our worst nightmare

Ugh!  I don't like to hear that!  We've never had to interview at all...except for my hubby prior to coming here.  Everything has always gone thru quickly, up until now.  Hoping all goes ok for you guys :)

Ready to schedule interview sounds like the case is now the domain of your local office. As such, your timeline will reflect the local office more than LIN. If you are in a busy city, this could make sense. If that isn't the case then I have no clue why they have skipped older cases.

I guess we'll just have to wait.  I don't really know who to contact since they're stating it's not outside of normal processing times.

Just wanted to say I’m with you… filed in May 2019. Case has been “ready to be scheduled for an interview” since April 2020. Getting more and more frustrated with the lack of actions we can take and the unfortunate time it’s taking compared to others. Hang in there 💪

I figured I wasn't alone :)  I will hang in there as long as I know we're not alone in this!  You hang in there as well :)

  4. I am wondering if anyone in this group had filed their I-751 back in June 2019 and still haven't seen any movement?  I am feeling a bit frustrated because since June of last year our case was waiting for an interview to be scheduled.  I realize with the pandemic things have slowed greatly, but I feel like people who have filed after us have been getting their approval.  Any suggestions?  I can't raise issue yet since it's not out of normal processing times, etc.  Just feeling super frustrated...that's all!

Unfortunately there isn’t, it all depends on how many cases are ahead of yours at your local office. I am not sure but when checking the case processing time tool, one of the options is all field offices, and processing time is between 18.5 to 34.5 months, I think this must be the window they provide for these kind of cases. Once you are outside the window, you might be able to have someone to check on your status. Hopefully it won’t take much longer. Good luck!

That's kind of what I thought!  Still so frustrating!!!  Thank you!!!

  6. We filed in June 2019 and its still showing our case is ready to be scheduled for an interview (as of June 3, 2020) but we haven't received anything else as of that point.  We tried submitting a case inquiry and it still shows it's within normal processing times.  Should I be worried?  Do I have any options for either speeding things up or trying to get more information?  Thanks all!

  7. (L) I love seeing all the updates lately....fiancés POE's, weddings......so much love!!! My guy will be here on the 27th and I am soooooooooooo excited. Wedding is the 22nd of October!! It seems so far off, but then again, this whole process seemed daunting at times when it actually flew by! Congrats to everyone who has been married now and who will be marrying in the near future....here's to our bright, exciting futures with our new loves!!!!! (L)

  8. Now others are getting their visas from the 25th interviews. Never received that damn letter or an email from NVC or the embassy. Fiance never received a packet either. Fiance had her visa listed as "ISSUED" since the 26th, but I noticed K2 stayed as "READY" which I thought was odd or the fact that may not matter since it was the K1 that was the primary. The status stayed that way, then the other day I noticed just the K2 changed to AP for almost one hour then went to issued. The Fiance was only in AP one day prior to the 26th.

Case Creation Date: 22-Aug-2016 Status Updated Date: 26-Aug-2016

So these dates never changed whatsoever. So I kept trying to reach the embassy and kept getting passed around to various voicemails which only began to piss me off even more. So then the fiance finally reached a "consul" at the embassy who did trace the passports and stated that because of the weekend and the Philippine holiday it was "technically" 7 days and not 10 days. She voiced her concern that it's been in "ISSUED" status since the 26th and now everyone else who interviewed afterwards are getting theirs and asked if there was an issue with the delay because her fiance was having to rebook the flight once again. She said the consul simply stated that there was no particular order that they are issued out, but that it was in fact there and 2Go will contact her when they receive it. So now I'm in for $2400 for ticket reservations and now will be required to change once again. Waiting on hold with Vayama which is where I booked the flight originally. Normally takes me about 1 1/2 on hold before I reach a live person. Wonder how much this delay will cost me now? So now I will reschedule AGAIN to the end of the week. The State Department conveniently covers their ### on every loophole. But my question is, why, if they were going to sit us in limbo, don't they change it back to "AP" status instead of leaving it in "ISSUED" status?? She has no wants or warrents, clean NBI and Cenomar. Feeling very frustrated because it seems the system is playing "God" when there is no known viable excuse to delay the issuance when they have stated the visa's are in fact "ISSUED". Just had to rebook for the 8th. If her visa's arent issued prior to that, then She will be having to wait for a month because a one way flight that originally cost me $933.41 has now cost $3800.00

DOUG & THIN....oh my, I feel so horrible for what you guys are going thru right now!!! It is so frustrating that there seems to be no real order to how things happen....why some couples get letters from the NVC, and others don't.....why some cases that arrive after ours get approved before ours, etc. The system is clearly flawed and hard that we can't do much.

I am praying for you guys to get the answers you need and for that passport to come ASAP!!! You guys will get there....its just unfortunate with what you've been going thru!! Try to keep your heads up :goofy:

  9. AAARRGGHHHH!!!!!!

How is it that everybody is clearing the NVC stage except us? This is so frustrating. We received our NOA2 Approval more than six weeks ago. USCIS blames NVC for not processing it. NVC blames USCIS for not sending it. Somebody needs to take some damn responsibility and get this done and over with. I am so pissed right now. USCIS claims they sent our petition / approval to NVC but they have no evidence to back that up. NVC claims they have no receipt of our petition. The NVC customer service rep told me that 90% of all issues with lost / misplaced / missing / damaged / delayed petitions falls on USCIS.

Oh I feel so awful for you two!!! I hope you get the answers you need ASAP!!!!! Sending prayers your way :)
