Right now, the estimate for Texas is 99 days. The estimate for California is 114 days. The estimate for Nebraska is 109 days. At the current time, all of the applications for these three are processed in California, so I think some of this difference is historical (people approved back before the big transfer all to Cali).

And this gets a little more screwy because some people (like me) switch theirs to California when their apps are transfered, while others don't and leave their original service center. If I left mine at Nebraska, I'd have a 5 days less estimate.

The numbers eat my brain.

Oh God...it jumped from Jan. 7th to Jan 24th now this is depressing....

The good thing is that I've been waiting the approved timelines..and alot of people have only about 60 days of waiting for thier NOA2's.. and alot are less then that..

I'm changing my timeline back to Nebraska.. It makes me feel better...

I was thinking the samething... Mine Started at Feb 7th and now it's Jan 7th ..I'm happy to see it falling almost daily.. I have seen it go up too... but it is nice to see things happen

I am really happy to see all these approvals!

With each one that is received I notice that the dates on my own timeline diminish. I started out with a projected date in February and now it's down to Jan 11 as of today. Every success brings my projected date closer. Thanks to all of you and congratulations too. )

I know it's hard to be away from a love one.. I was not thinking about it so much...And she kepted wondering how I was doing it.. and why I didn't tell her how much I missed her... So we talked about it ..and I broke down and cried...Ya I'm the Man...but I couldn't hold it in anymore... and we both cried and now she understands.. My control..my brave front...was for her.... I never told her how if I listened to our songs..I had tears...How I kept trying to finish a song for us...but I had tears and had to quit.....But now she understands... And now I tell her everyday how much I miss her..and need her.. I had forgotten to say these words..because I was fighting the tears..before..

Talk...communicate... and be strong for each other... because this is the last time you have to be apart without choice..This is the last leg of your journey...the last bump... because after your together..you'll look back at this time..and agree..it wasn't so bad........

yeah, I think I'm getting negative and frustrated because someone else in the relationship is getting frustrated. I keep trying to be the voice of reason, but it's hard sometimes!

If you check out the aprrovals...today.. most of them filed or had NOA1 dates similar to yours... cross your fingers..yours is next...and good luck..

I'm now in the club of CSC petitioners who have seen people with later NOA1 dates that have been approved. I'm happy for everyone, I really am, and I know some people are in way worse shape than I am. I really do realize it. I just have this fear in the back of my throat that something's gone wrong with mine, that I did something wrong or something. I really hope and pray I don't get an RFE!

27 years is alot.... but I'm sure you have done all the math..and all the conflicts you can have,,so I won't go there.. I'm 19 years older then Veronica.. I've tried to talk to her about it...but she won't hear it.. and she even says I'm her big kid...

I guess what I'm trying to say... it only matters to you two... Love shouldn't have a age limit..a distance limit.. a color of your skin differance.. Love is is love... As they say Love has no boundries...

So the moral of this story is this... Don't let it bother you...don't act like their is a differance..and most people won't say a thing.. etc..except for those "AW's that think it's great that they speak their minds"..like it's a earned stupidity..

I've never heard of anyone being denied because of an age difference.

Ok also... She kept making excuses with the papers not written right.... So we decided instead of putting in the papers who gets what... We put in it that all property has been already divided up.. So she had nothing to whine about... Just make sure you can trust her to give him his things if she still has some.. Me and my ex are staying friendly.. So it worked out... But the BF thing helped alot for her to forget me and what to be with him...that was the biggest help... I even talked to him to push her alittle into signing...

Good Luck... Divorce sucks no matter who wants it..It takes a toll on everybody.. I was the one that wanted it ..but it still effected me in ways.. But I'm past it now.. With a new life close at hand...

OK I got here to spend 4 weeks with my man 2 weeks ago.We called the Ex (his USC) to get the Divorce Decree and again had to find out that she choose NOT to turn the papers in to court in VA.It"s driving us crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She has all the paperwork and would only need to put it in,we'd wire her the cash for it but she just keeps messing with us...............We could send her new divorce papers with my man being the plaintiff but we dont believe she'd sign them...............The thing is Jim has sent her signed and notorized papres in MAY already and she keeps failing to put them in...............Does anyone know what we could do to get this darn divorce over with??????????????????

You'll need her new last name... but I would also search in her old/your last name...you never knowshe might be still using it for somethings..

I can sympathize. Getting a copy of my long form birth certificate is taking 4-6 months because of Katrina.

I know in Texas if you do not have the case number for the divorce, there is a fee that they charge to do a search and find the record. Maybe Louisiana has a similar service?

Also state law in Louisiana recently changed sot hat you can get vital records are several locations throughout the state rather than just the vital records in New Orleans. I do not know if it only applies to birth certificates, but I was able to get a short form of my birth certificate certified from an office out of Lake Charles without waiting.

I call her twice a day...When she awakes in the morning and when she is getting ready for bed... 7 days a week.. calls can go from 5 min. to 30-40 min. Phone bill is usually $125 or so.. thank God for .119 per min..with one sec rounding..

We also email daily... app 3-5 emails.... Pic's very often... hahahhaa She was worried about me eating..so I took pictures of my Frig and Food Closet...hhahahahaha

I couldn't do it less then that... I miss her that much...

I'd wait... I think resubmitting and having two checks out there...Will only confuse the the Gov. People at CSC... If the first check bounces because you put a stop payment on it..and they send out a notice to you..and then your new packet gets there...OMG can you imagine these guys trying to figure out which is which... This will only slow the process up... Your file will be red flagged for non-payment..and then a new packet shows up with the same SSN and a new check...

I vote on you waiting alittle longer... give it the 8 weeks...

well i kept all the forms and such and ive been preparing the other evidence again today. I leave back to the UK tomorrow, so im going to leave a fully prepared re submission

USCIS said leave it 8 weeks before resubmitting, although another lady said wait till the end of the month.

i think we will give it one more week, if no check is cashed, resubmit the file.

I'm just more paranoid than usual because a) my mail carrier, three weeks ago, decided that all of the mail destined for my address should be marked return to sender (called the post office, complained, may have gotten someone fired, oops) and B) my bank doesn't return checks, just teeny weeny photocopies of them.

Does your bank offer online services? That was how I first knew about my NOA1 - I logged onto my bank and saw that the check cleared, then I clicked on the transaction to view a photocopy of the front and back of the check.

They got mine 9/15 and nothing so far...No check cashing...No NOA1 ...I don't feel like I'm in the running until I've got my case #

I have now got my Fiancee a dedit card through iKobo they are about a 1/3 the cost of Western Union to send money, She just uses the Credit Card the same as any card..I think it's a Mastercard...

Of course any Yahoo/Messenger talks also..
