Hi,

Does someone know /my parents are coming to the USA in September for a visit /if I can take them freely to Las Vegas for fun from my home state Idaho?

They've got a tourist visa to fly to Idaho.

Also, another q-n, please,

How easy is it for them not knowing English to go through customs just coming to visit us?

I think if both partners go into the marriage knowing that they both need to work (assuming) you just make the 125% level to qualify.. You should be fine with a little pre-planning for pregnancy like buying insurance etc..,

And knowing that buying things like cars and houses will take time and a good plan of action and commitment to a house hold budget.

My wife stays at home during the day with our daughter and I work a full time job but at night we both work together cleaning a building which makes us about what she would make being gone for 8 hours..We found a great babysitter that we pay $16 per night and not the $125-190 some of the professional care places want for 30-40 hours

The plan is for her to take some online courses and when our daughter goes to school go back to college ..So we can quit this night work..but for now this is what is needed to have a life..

If you have a "I'll do what it takes" attitude and willing to use your brain You can make this all work..... but don't even think you can keep up your normal day when you start out.. You know what I mean... get up..go the starbucks..work..McDonalds for lunch..home..order pizza..play your play station or hang out with friends..WATCH TV..go to bed.. this will change..you've just made a big commitment to love..cherish..support your foreign love and this is a new country for them..scarey..maybe have to teach them to drive.. and you have no idea how much you have to work on communications..I'm not talking about language, I'm talking about her misunderstanding you and feelings being hurt..teaching her/him our English slang..different customs..more feelings hurt..

This might sound exotic but it's work... Is it worth it ? H?LL YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I wifes brother is in Moldova and We'd like to bring him here to visit (Not to stay) What are the forms and proofs we need for him

I understand he needs to go online to fill out the DS160.. any example list of items we need ?

I figure since I'm the US citizen I should fill out all the forms

So far I've got for him:

I-134

Copies of Taxes (transcripts last two years)

Copies of last 6 months of my paystubs

Copy of my Passport

Bank Statements (last 6 )months

Do I need a Cover Letter and Invitation letter? "Any Examples" ??

Ok we are vacationing in Moldova so my wife can see her family in Aug. She has her Green Card(10yr) and her Moldova passport has been changed to her married name.. Will there be a problem with her leaving Moldova after two weeks there ? ..I ask this question because it took a Visa K-1 the first time she left, So we just don't want any surpises

Your brother in law can apply for a tourist visa. You can write an invitation letter. That's about it. He has to qualify on his own.

I'm unclear on when the 3 years count starts ?? when married or When entered the US, or After lifting of conditions ?

Bio was the 9th, Showed a touch on the 12th and got the approval letter today

Hi David-and-Mae, what do you mean "did you ever get any touches at all?" ? They just send me a letter and an email stating that they ordered my card. That is all I got.

What I meant is if they ever updated anything before approving. I have noticed that the last time they updated my case was after I had the Bio done.

Hi there! How soon after your BIO was done was your file updated? (And I'm assuming you mean when you check your status online?). Just had my BIO this past Friday and am already antsy and looking for my approval as I see how quickly they are issuing the approvals! Congrats to everyone already approved btw! HOORAY!

Bio appointment went well..First in and First out.. took about 15-20 min...

WE got our Bio letter today.. 9/24

Notice Date 9/18

Bio Appointment 10/9 at 8am

We got ours today Dated The 10th

Also the Number on the check we saw is the correct WAC Number it's just not working yet..

What do the case numbers start with ??? I see a copy of my cashed check it looks like WAC

Our weight was 1 1/4 lbs ..I can't imagine everything you had... We had evidence for 2007 to 2009 with pictures for each year and tax returns for 2007 and 2008, birth cert. marriage cert, bank and loan info..also copies of our driver license's, her green card even the mailing cards the green card and work permit came on.. Also all NOA's ..etc.., also copies of our passports even our daughter ,, Well in doubt bury them in paperwork

today i have send my I-751 application packet weighing 3 lbs through USPS express mail.

Sent Packet today 9/8/2009 now more waiting ..but to me this is nothing like the first one I-129 wait!! I'm not even worried about this one just as long as it's done before next Aug since we are traveling to her country..and even thats not a big deal if it's not done..

hi guys, i just saw another posting about this, maybe someone who is approve can shine in. part five of i751 says list all children on form, but on the instructions it says list all conditional resident children. i of course just following the list all children listed my USC daughter i already had my bio and was wondering if anybody else got RFE's and at what point in the process did it happen?i filed 07/27/09 i had my bio 09/04/09 i got all my noa's no problem.

I didn't notice anything in the instructions...So I'm really confused.. on if I should put down my USC child or not...

Wow guys I'm going to file next week and I was wondering about that,Now I'm confused .Well my wife and I have a 2 months old baby that is an usc and I have a step-son that is an usc so should I :

1) List all our children (our son + step-son ).

2) List just our son together even he is an usc.

3) Not list any of them since they are both ucs.

Submit copies of their BCs and mention them in the cover letter for proof of having a valid marriage.

Well I put our daughters Birth cert. in the package... Wrote U.S. Citizen in the "A# if any" spot and used two lines to put full address and U.S. Citizen again

Hopefully they won't be that blind/####### about it..........

Alls I can say is I listed our USC daughter and got a RFE for USCIS wanting $80 for her biometrics. It took us 3 + months to get it straightened out. Had to get our senator to finally get the petition moving again.It does say list ALL children but they mean children who need conditions removed.

It does say that in the instructions.

DON'T list USC children in Part 5.

at what point in your process did you received the RFE? i made same mistake, i just checked the instructions and it states to list all conditional resident children not USC's. i just did my bio hopefully ii don't get RFE.

I got the RFE in about 3 weeks. LOTS of people have put their USC kids and didn't have any problems. For some reason they screwed up with our case.

yes that sucks...glad u got it all squared away and got GC.. hope i'm good. i didn't even state that she was a usc i just listed our address there isn't enough room. i guess will see. thanks for the quick response.

I just scan my pic's or download into the computer..go online to Walgreens or some other place and have them make a set for you .19 per pic. or .10 if you have more then 50 (have two of each done for your copy's)

I then bag them in a sandwich bag and mark them with dates if they don't have them on the face..some camera's do some don't and attach to the paperwork..

This way they are getting real pic's not copies and they do them within 24 hours and sometimes in only a couple of hours..

I am sending "originals" just because all my pictures are digital. Since I don't have a color printer, I looked at prices at Staples and Kinkos and it was cheaper to order prints of my pictures (10c each) then to have them color printed somewhere else (50c page).

If I had a color printer I would have printed them. I am sending about 4 pages (2 pages for each last 2 years) with 2 pictures each (glued). And I inserted a note saying "These photos are extra copies I understand they will not be returned".

I also put a caption by each photo.
