  1. Did you have your interview yet? Or did you get an interview wavier? My wife and I are being interviewed in December.

Thanks so much! Did you actually mean to write "never got naked" or was that an autocorrect slip? :jest:

Nice! Lucky you...it seems that the Mt. Laurel office is a breeze compared to the Philly office based on the amount of available Infopass appointments. By the way, any interview tips to share? This might sound silly, but did you dress up?

  3. Congrats on your recent EAD approval! Any idea how you were approved so quickly? (Current processing times are in excess of 90 days.)

Well, after 1 SR and 1 congressional inquiry, we FINALLY got my wife's EAD/AP card two weeks ago. Went to the SSA office to have her name changed on her card yesterday.

Question for you: I see that you're a fellow K1 adjuster whose case is being handled at the Philly office. Have you seen any progress with your AOS application beyond "fingerprint fee has been received"? Did you get a letter about a potential interview waiver? I'm concerned that it's been over four months with no status update and my wife's medical exam expires in January. Any luck with your AOS yet?

Wow, that's great to hear! Thanks for the fast reply. With such a fast approval, I first thought you were expediting your case but I'm glad to hear/see that at least a few non-expedited cases with NOA1's from early April are being reviewed. My wife's NOA1 was on 4/27. Crossing my fingers it's not too much longer until we have good news.

I started gathering my AOS stuff recently even though my fiancee doesn't have her visa yet. Never hurts to be prepared...

It's only the finish line for this part of the process. Remember, you have AOS and ROC ahead of you!

  7. People on here are just getting more argumentative by the day.

Sigh. I think a lot of that "argumentative" energy stems from people being impatient with a process that is opaque and unpredictable. Not that it justifies that sort of behavior, mind you.
