So my fiancé had his interview today. Everything went well until he was asked how did we met.... Facebook! We didn't lied we met on Facebook we had at the time 2 mutual friends and started talking on our own. I asked my friend here to speak with him she did just that along with her husband (they're all Ethiopian). She deleted her account and he is never really on there much. We now have 6 mutual friends with one of them being here in Las Vegas. My profile on Facebook is locked so if you aren't my friend you can't see who's on my page also if we are friends you can only see who out mutual friends are.

Because of us not having a lot of Nevada friends on Facebook it was denied she told him that I was just looking for a man, but told him what we can do to fix the problem. She was happy that I got baptized, been a member of the Ethiopian church, and have been learning the language. But because of the lack of Facebook friends she denied it.

I would like to know would it be pointless to do the K 1 visa again? (She told him if we had more Vegas friends she would have approved)

Please don't think we didn't have proof we had a lot of it but it didn't mean anything since we didn't have more Vegas friends

I didn't get the tickets till my husband had his visa in hand I was nervous there could be a error of his visa so we waited and spend over 1000$ on both tickets but it also over a week away from the travel date.

My husband was approved but needed more documents and once we summited those we were told 2 weeks from that day but it was sooner than that , I think it depends on the embassy and how many visas they are currently processing at the time

October 26 it was issued via ceac and October 31 his visa was ready for pick up

We have not had the interview yet. But I was told it's 6 days but it would most likely be done sooner...... so I am praying that he can pick it up before the date given, we don't want the prices to go up on the ticket. lol they're pricey....

My question is for those who've interviewed in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia). Once you've passed the interview and they give you a date of when the visa will be ready for pick up. Has anyone gotten theirs sooner/later than the 6 business days?

I know you're able to track the processing of the visa after your interview, but would like to know if anyone has gotten it sooner or later than time date given by the CO.

She would like to know if they'll be denied since they're no update on the case.... She's called and is being told the same routine answers. They're way outside of the normal timeframe and she filed an inquiry on it and since she did that they added an additional 45 days for them to investigate the case. Should she be worried that it'll be denied or could it be that they're still reviewing the medical information that was sent.

I am creating this to help a friend out..... Her and her fiancé started their journey around March (they did have pictures together but the trip wasn't made for him they happened to meet each other while she was on vacation), since that encounter just due to medical issues that they've been made aware of the USCIS requested more information that was returned back and went back into being processed on 8.25......... As of today still nothing, an inquiry was made, today they advised them that the case is being adjudicated and that within 45 days a notice will be mailed.... Our question is does this mean it's been denied or will they be requesting more information from them? It's been 7 months and the case is still with USCIS, with no light of what's going on..... Now for those who have something negative and rude to say we would like for you to keep your comments to yourself as this is a support type of group and they don't need the added stress.

u can get the police report now ,whatever clinic they said to go to on your embassy website just call them and ask what they need , after ds 160 you can start looking for interview appointments u have to set that up before the medical

We just got approved on the 12th, and we would like to get everything in place now before it gets to the NVC...

1.What's needed before he can get his police report and physical done now?

2. Does he need a letter from the embassy stating he's been approved for an appointment with them?

3. What are the steps now that we've gotten the visa approved, we've done the DS 160 already.... So what's next
