We logged on to our husband's case today and it is not displaying a case completion date. Does this mean the case is moving? Should we be happy about it? The completion date showed before as October 2020.

Has anyone from Florida received any notifications from USCIS? My husband applied in March and his biometrics appointment was cancelled due to Covid. The ASC in West Palm Beach opened in July, but we haven't heard anything from them.
Please give me some hope, I'm getting tired of waiting.
Congratulations to those getting forward with your process.

Hi!
Anybody knows the number to call to check case status?
My husband applied March 12. His biometrics appointment was cancelled due to Covid and we haven't heard anything back since.
The completion time in the USCIS website says October 2020, which I know is not accurate but worth wishing for.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Good luck to those going for the interview soon. You got this!

I think at the end of the day this will benefit everyone. We will have to wait more until the offices open, yes. But in the meantime they can be doing background checks and going along the process with everything else that does not need the fingerprints. Once the fingerprints are taken, I'm hopeful everyone's wait time for the interview will be shorter.

We submitted my husband's application online on March 11. Status already updated...his biometrics appointment has been scheduled. We can't see the copy of the letter yet online, but I'm impressed at how quickly we got response.
Good luck everyone.

Hi everyone!
My husband and I are getting ready to apply for his citizenship. He entered the US with a 10 year GC. We've been married for 6 years. What did you send as evidence? Do we need to submit the IRS transcripts now or wait for the interview? We've been debating over this particular issue.
Thanks for your support. Hope everyone gets approved quickly.

i never did fill out that application as we were applying for the K3 visa...NVC denied it and we proceeded with the CR1 without any forms filled out by either of us. i hope this was chosen for him. what is CEAC?
Consular Electronic Application Center. This is the website where you pay invoices and fill out the visa application. This is from the NVC.

awwww so happy for you...congratulations!!!! wish you lots of years in sweet love..til death.. one question... i didnt even think about that....how do you get a SS Card? he had to apply? do you have a CR1 Visa? your good news made me cry.
CR1 visa. When you fill out the visa application in CEAC, you choose if you want to have a SS number assigned. This saves you the trip to the SS office after your spouse enters the US.

I'm happy to report that my husband entered the US on Monday February 13th at the Fort Lauderdale airport. They did not ask him ant questions, just took the visa package and looked at his passport. They stamped his entrance and that was it. Tomorrow he will be 2 weeks in US. We received his Social Security Card last Saturday.
We are very happy....just waiting for that Green Card to arrive.
Good luck everyone!

Thanks! Unfortunately NVC is closed today, so i could not get a hold of a Rep. How long did it took them to schedule your interview after your case was complete?
About 2-3 days. But that solely depends on the embassy. The embassy where my husband was interviewed was in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Hey everyone. My case is now complete as of Feb 10th and i am wondering if i could still be able to get a March interview?
It all depends on your embassy, but you definitely could. My case was completed December 13 and I got a January interview. Keep hopes up. Good luck!

I wonder how long it takes the passport with visa to arrive, I know it states 2 weeks, but does it actually take that long?
I am unsure of a timeframe to plan on leaving...
My husband picked up his passport just 2 days after the interview. But I guess all that depends where you get interviewed.

My husband is coming home tomorrow!
I'm very excited to finally start our life together. I still have a couple of things to do before he gets here, but I couldn't be happier.
To all of those waiting for this process to be over, please hang on. It will be over before you know it. Good luck everyone!

He hasn't even had his biometrics taken. His appoinment was for April and was cancelled due to Covid. He hasn't received anything from them yet. My husband called last week and they told him to call this week since it would be 90 days since the office reopened so they could give his case to a manager.
