    Hello All,

I am in the same situation. Filed I751 back in January 2019, and the case was received in Feb 7th 2019. Then I also filed N400 in January 2020. We received a notice on Jan 28th 2020 that our I751 was transferred to NBC for faster processing (not sure what that means). Since then nothing. So we have been waiting for the I751 for 16 months, and or N400 for 5 months. Should I keep waiting or should I file an SR to see what is going on? Our local office is Tampa.

    Best Regards

    Jonny Eser

My case is similar, my GC expires in August and I applied for citizenship in December 2019, my i751 says 3 months ago that it was transferred to the jurisdiction office and my N400 says that it is being reviewed all the time. I do not know what to do. what have you done?

Filed on November 5th (paper form) and had my biometrics completed on Nov. 28th. My I751 is still pending and now transferred to a new office. I guess I will have a combo interview for both petitions. I am still waiting for an interview date, but I am traveling for work in mid March for work for 4 days. I am hoping that my interview will not overlap with my travel dates, but I am bit nervous.

Congratulations to everyone on this forum who had their interviews and get approved!

I also applied for citizenship and I have pending the i751. It was transferred to another office and I have the case tracker app and today I have received many update notifications but I go to the uscis page and it remains the same. I do not know what's happening. may happen to be updated soon

Just came home from the interview!

    Recommended for approval!

    The interview lasted 15 minutes.

    The questions asked were:

    - Name the war between the North and the South.

    - What is the capital of the United States?

    - How many US Senators are there?

    - Who is the Speaker of the House?

    - When must all men register for the Selective Service?

    -  Who is in charge of the executive Branch?

Then I had to read - Who elects Congress?

Then I had to type - "The people elect Congress"

Went over the YES & NO questions, confirmed my name change and I was out.

Also, I applied under the 3 year rule, and he crossed out all my info prior to when becoming a LPR - such as address, employment etc.

So no need to put more than 3 years, even if they ask for 5 years on the form.

"One should fill out the form based on his or her statuary period, which in your case is 3 years."

The status on the old site changed directly to "Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled" as soon as I walked out of his office.

    Praise GOD!

    Congratulations

Had the interview today, she approved me.

for those wondering, learn the 100 questions they literally ask a few of them. Speaking test is the interview and you need to write and write one sentence. Honestly if you use the booklet you cannot fail. She still needs to approve the ROC, my F-129 envelope was missing for months so that was why that was never done. She was going to do it all after I left. whole thing took like 45 minutes

    Congratulations

    My interview was scheduled!

    Here is my timeline:

    • Date filed: 28 October 2019 (78 days before completing 3 years of Permanent Residency)
    • Biometrics taken: November 22, 2019
    • E-mail with interview update received/ case status updated: January 27, 2020
    • Interview notice showed on my USCIS account: January 29, 2020
    • Interview scheduled for: March 5, 2020

I am also waiting for approval of the I-751, Removal of Conditions (applied October 2018). I hope I have a combo interview.

Did anyone have a combo interview here? Was anything mentioned in the interview notice about that?

Was your case also transferred? Yesterday I was updated and says it was transferred, I also applied for citizenship. I'm confused and I have a lot of nerves

  6. Hello good afternoon. I have a question. Yesterday I reviewed my case on the uscis page and this message appeared to me that it had been transferred. I turned a year since I sent my package i751, remove conditions and apply for the N400 in December, fingerprints in January, what will happen now? Can you do a combo interview or can you approve without an interview the i751? can someone answer me .. thanks Happy day to all

Update for everyone - especially the New York folks.

I received biometric letter last Friday Feb 1 for next week. I decided to walk in today and got it done.

Still no receipt or extension letter. Do you guys think I should file for non-delivery once it fits 30days? Do the receipt and extension letter come seperated?

my gc expires on February 11 and I still do not receive the extension letter, call uscis and they told me they would call me in 72 hours, Oh surprise they called in 10 minutes and they programmed me infopass in an office, but the next day I received the response of an inquiry I had made before, that a received  letter would arrive, but I do not know if the extension should also arrive. I have an appointment for Tuesday and I am waiting if the notice or extension letter arrives before going to the appointment ☹
