    Agree with rccc

Do not make any phone calls.  Those calls are likely to mess up both interviews.

You are at the finish line, now walk across it and don’t look back.

Follow what it says, go w/ your husband on citizenship interview and bring all docs regards I-751. It is possible they might give your husband a combo interview. Another possibility, N-400 decision will be on hold after your husband gain for 10 yrs GC.

Ryan thanks for moving this thread to a sub-forum where no one will see it, and therefore, still not fill out their timelines. It wasn't meant to be a meaningless rant. It was meant to be a plea for as many users as possible to fill out their timelines.

I understand that there are people going through various immigration processes who just browse the forum. BUT if someone starts a new thread, especially if the topic is timeline related, THEY SHOULD COMPLETE THEIR TIMELINE. It's a courtesy to all the users to complete the timeline ESPECIALLY if you are asking for their help! It doesn't take a lot of time and everyone benefits from it. If you are going to be a part of the forum and you are looking to benefits from the knowledge and experiences of others, DO YOUR PART! COMPLETE YOUR TIMELINE!!!

So I'm playing with the USCIS app and looking at recent approvals. They are in the WAC16903-30,000s. My application is in the 85,000s with a projected VJ date of end of June. So I'm thinking if they're projected to review 55,000 applications in the next month, or even 2, or even 3 months, that's an ENORMOUS amount of work. If it took the next 2 months that's like 1,500 applications a day, 175 per hour! I don't know how well they are staffed, but if I get NOA2 by end of July I'll be impressed.

Carrie7003 reacted to newacct in Visiting- possibility of getting banned from reentry?
Whenever someone arrives in the US and is denied entry, one of two things happen: 1) they are allowed to withdraw application for admission voluntarily depart, or 2) they are expeditiously removed. If removal happens, there is automatically a 5-year 9A ban, which means they cannot get any visa for 5 years, unless they apply for and receive permission to reapply. CBP will often allow someone to voluntarily depart if there's not an egregious or knowing violation of immigration laws, and the person is able to quickly arrange an immediate flight out, but it's completely up to the officer whether to allow the voluntary departure or not.

Carrie7003 got a reaction from MyLifeForYou in Obstacles between NOA1 and NOA2
So the things that can go wrong during application processing (other than denial) are:
    -RFE
-Getting stuck in background check purgatory
Of the 2 it seems like the RFE is actually a positive sign since from most timelines it looks like approval comes relatively soon after RFE is responded to. That leads me to believe that once an application is received at the processing center it goes: 1) background checks 2) application review 3) RFE (if applicable). So if you get an RFE maybe it means you passed the background checks which might be the longest part of the process, and the application review.
    Thoughts?

Carrie7003 reacted to zuzie in K-1 process how difficult is the process without a lawyer?
I initially went to a Lawyer for information. I was told $5000 and 8 months to a year to finish everything. I would say that I did it myself but that would not be true. I did not use the lawyer and the help I got from VJ was invaluable! People on this site know there stuff for sure. Knowing what I know now, no way the Lawyer could have done it any faster.
