You will have to wait until your son's PD to become current.

For October 2016, the current PD is December 22, 2014. It will probably be another 1 1/2 year before your son's case will be current.

Oh God, so it will take such a long time??? So should I call NVC to get the IIN and the case number?

And whats the PD?

I filed for my 14 years old son, its been 2 months since I got the approval letter from USCIS, so should I have to wait a letter with NVC case number and IIN number?

What should I do next after USCIS approval.

What last name do you currently use? Is it different from your GC?

no, its same as in GC.

I am applying for my son from my first marriage and in his Birth Certificate My last name is different than present one, so do I need to include my divorce Decree from my first marriage?

You'll need to include, the filing fee of $420 (check or money order), the front and back copy of your green card and your son's birth certificate with your name and the child's name.

If your name has been changed (different from the birth certificate), then you'll need to also submit evidence of the change.

What type of visa information should I look for?

No my husband did not add my sons name on application when he was applying for me. On that time he lied to me that only I can apply for him when I got my GC. My son is from my first marriage.

Now I moved out from my husband's house, we are separated but not divorced yet. The reason is my son, I got my GC 2 years ago and all these years I was bagging him to help me to bring my son but he refused to do that. Thats my story.
