My wife was a K1 holder and she had A# on her passport as well. Yes, we put her A# on every forms that asked. I think it's better. Good luck.

This group helped me sooo much to stay sane  
Now, 27 days after my NOA2 approval , NVC received my case! Yay... It took so long.
Can someone tell me what should my next steps be? Also, where can I track my NVC case?
 
 

Approved yesterday! I checked my case status at work today and couldn't believe my eyes. I wish all of you who are still waiting for their NOA2s good luck and a lot of patience <3

For those still waiting on their NOA2, it will come and things start to move as quickly as you want them too once it reaches your embassy.  I saw this online earlier hopefully some humor can ease your waiting for today

We received our rfe letter yesterday. That is a week wait between receiving our rfe notice and getting the letter.
 
It wasn't about okcupid at all like I had suspected. My fiancé missed one check box... dohh! Least its an easy fix

Great news everyone our case was subbmitted December 7 2016 and was APPROVED MARCH 3 2017 THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR BEING A GREAT HELP NOW ONTO THE NEXT STEP. I wish everyone the best of luck thank you @geowrian for the updates it truly helped now i can enjoy my birthday week with her int the Bahamas!!!!! 
 

Hey everybody! I'm from the January thread and this thread has been keeping me sane as far as waiting. ? I hope by next week they will be starting Dec filers and then the countdown for January will really be on! ? Good luck to those still waiting and congratulations to those who have gotten their approval already! ?

I was an examiner for the US Patent Office. I wonder if the folk examining our applications at USCIS go through a similar process like I did at the patent office. In the old days, the US Patent office had paper applications like USCIS has now. When an examiner requested applications to work on, we would physically receive 10 or maybe 20 applications on our desk at a time. The examiners would review the applications one at at time,  but we would do the easy ones first, because we were working on a production schedule, and not by the hour. The easy ones were worth as much as a hard one, and its human nature to do the easy ones first. And lets say an examiner ordered 20 applications to work on, but then went on a short vacation, was out sick, was out for any reason really - an application might sit in his/her office for days, maybe weeks longer than other applications with the same filing date that are being worked by examiners who are actually at work those days. Reviewing geo's graph, it seems something similar might be happening at USCIS. Not trying to knock the process. Just trying to understand. Those who know, please correct me
 
And does anyone know if the USCIS examiners work on production? IMPORTANT question! 
 

I agree with @amye. As much as we want to all complain and add to other people's negativity, we should turn it around and stay positive and patient.   Complaining or being negative does not help you or anyone at all, it just brings everybody down.  we all know that everything will all be worth it, that is why this forum was created in an effort to lift everyone's spirit.  @JimJesDuma is one of the best examples, he has been waiting for more than 100 days and still being positive. 
 
BTW, i am not a hypocrite, i also get disappointed and i curse when I don't see ours getting approved but well, there is always tomorrow. lol.

FaceTime dates are the best.   They definitely keep us going.  My favorite is syncing up and watching movies together while on FaceTime.  Gives you that little piece of connection even from 4000 miles away.  Next Valentine's Day we will definitely be going all out.  We all have a lot to make up for!  Haha. 
 
Still keeping close tabs on the November filers thread.  It is exciting to see the movement in there.  I cant wait to see the first December filer post that they got their NOA2!  I am keeping my eyes open for it!
