    NOA2 without IMBRA RFE

    Hi, I’ve been touched four times (6/24, 6/29, 6/30, and 7/3) from the date of my NAO1. Is there anyway I might receive my NOA2 without getting an IMBRA RFE. I’ve noticed most ppl with similar dates as me have already received it.

    I’m leaving tomorrow to spend the summer w/ the love of my life. Anything I can do to find out what these touches are?

    I just got touched agian today!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

    HOPEFULLY IMBRA RFE WILL FOLLOW SOON!!!!

    So im wondering what your plan of action is boss if your going to be with you lady and the RFE comes after then what? Are you going to have someone mail it to you at hers and then send it back? or wait till you get back?

    DEFINATLY, have some1 mail it to me and then mail back...i want to get this over with ASAP. I'm hoping for my Fiancee to come back with in ...end of summer!!

    Big Boss,

    What does being touched mean? It means that someone has updated the on-line status system for your case.

    Why did they make the update, and when did the reason for the update occur? No way of knowing (although one might be able to make a guess about some of the touches when they receive something in writing from the USCIS).

    So, how does a touch or lack thereof relate to the fact that you might not be around when your RFE arrives?

    I received my NOA1 on 6/22...got touched on 6/24...and nothing since then...

    Did VCS stop touching or do they update there servers on certain days? I'm leaving in afew days and I'm worried I wont be around by the time my IMBRA RFE will get here.

    Any advise?

    I've signed up for email updates. I used my personal email at USCIS online status check and my work email on my I-129f............does that matter? which email will receive the updates?

    Everybody is getting touched before they recieve the IMBRA rfe. The longer it takes to get touched the longer it takes for your RFE to be sent out...makes sense?

    Have you received thr RFE request already? About touches, not everybody gets touched, some do like 8 times, some do once, some never do, what you have to expect after your NOA1 is the RFE because of the new IMBRA laws (if you haven't received it yet or if you sent the new i129 already) and after that the NOA2 can take a while. Be patient, it's a long journey.

    HAs any1 recieved an IMBRA RFE w/o a notifing email???

    Cause I haven't recieved an email either...and i'm thinking the email is the 1st step, i'm not even there.

    Wow, they processed my IMBRA RFE LATE last night!

    Here was the response I got:

    "On June 27, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates.

    If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or advice from USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please contact the National Customer Service Center."

    What does this mean? Does this mean, we did everything we needed to, now you are back in the pile, wait a few more months? Is it a good sign, bad sign, neutral sign?

    And I noticed VT still hasn't updated their processing dates. However, with the speed they are turning around their IMBRA RFEs I guess I can't really complain.

    Also, when did u send it? When did they reiceive it?

    How long is there turn around?

    Hi,

    Are they sending our IMBRA RFE to everyone based on the date they filed or are they reading how you meet and trying to determine if u fall under the IMBRA law.

    I met my Fiance at a religous convention and many others here met there Fianc(e) w/o going through a "Marriage Broker"...........do ppl who fall in this category get IMBRA RFE too?

    If you didn´t get another e-mail saying a second RFE was coming, then it might just a system glitch.

    Could be. I just need to wait and see if I get something in the mail. The post said that they mailed me an RFE on June 19th. :whistle:
