this morning i got this email from the USCIS .

Case Status

Receipt Number: XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On January 24, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

i want know how long it take to get the Green Card?is it possible to wait more than 30 dyas?and can i get the Green card before the EAD?

I got the same email last week and today i got this:

Current Status: This case has been sent to another office for processing.

On December 6, 2006, we transferred this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing..........

Any1 know what this means...

But I recieved a welcome to CSC on 12/20/06 and I receieved the pending email on 1/4/2007.....

Thats why this email confussed me...

You're not approved for a GC yet, your case was only transfered to the service center.

But being transferred to CSC is a good thing, apparently!

What is the date of the update that says your case was transferred to CSC? That is the date I would use as the Transfer Date. Normally the update tells you something like "On xx/xx/xx we transferred the case to our CSC..."

If it doesnt tell u exactly what date it was transferred then use the date you got this update on. Make sure you notify us in the CSC Transferees List.

I got the transfering email and a few days got a PENDING email...is that routine procudure?

Relax Big Boss, this is normal. Our status (and probably for all those on the waiting list here) says the same thing. It only means that it is awaiting processing at CSC.

I think what they mean is the time between when it was transfered, then there was some before it was recieved from the CSC office and then updated in the system once this occurred. I had the same thing happen so i just assume it just a way of updating the process.

My AOS was tranfered to CSC on 12/06...I've had 3 touches since then and yesterday I receieved an email stating:

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was

transferred.

What does that mean? Was it not pending before?

Just got back from InfoPass, asked if they could please give me a hard copy oif my approval and they declined me. They told me to wait until the day before my travel and if I haven't recieved to go see them....

OUR AP FINALLY GOT APPROVED!!!!

I want to thank every1 here for there helpful info and support.

We've planned our wedding for next weekend in Greece and until yesterday were not sure if it would happen...LAST NIGHT I GOT THE APPROVAL EMAIL!!!!

Will we have the snail copy by next weekend? Can we print the email?

On the travelling day, what else should we bring w/ us (besides Passport, Ticket, and Approved AP) ?

I wanted to go on my honeymoon to Disney Florida in January but was afreaid to book cause I didn't know when my interview date woul be.....

Is it safe to book the trip now? Chances are I wouldnt have an interview correct?

When your AP gets approved can you travl or do you need to have the paper in hand? Is the email confirmation or InfoPass confirmation enough to travel?

Also, My wife's passport still has her maiden name, what name do we put on the air ticket?

It seems like most AP are taking 10 wks from the date it was mailed. That would bring mine to 12/28/2006.

When I sent my AP I attached a letter explaining my reason for it (having a religous wedding in Greece on 12/22/06)......do you thijnk I will make it?

Would they speed things up for us?

then you don't have anything to support that you are Employment Authorized. Employers require very specific items to submit with the I-9.

I think I read somewhere that....she can work until her I-94 expires...have u heard anything like that?
