So now begins the long wait. I'm not overly concerned about the lengthy processing times I just wanted to know I had my extension letter in hand.

I did not use a plastic folder. I see no reason not to include the evidence of expected child, it is pretty solid evidence of bona fide relationship.
-
My packet sat in the post office saying available for pickup all weekend and was picked up first thing Monday morning. Don't worry.

You seem to have everything needed , when submitting more is always better even if already submitted, I sent a copy of our marriage certificate and wedding photos. I didn't staple or paperclip anything, I just placed sticky labels dividing each section to make it easier to find what was needed.

A sigh of relief breathed. Now I wait for my NOA.

Only ever send copies and (IMO) take copies and originals with you to any interview just to be prepared.
Some people get interviewed, some don't. Having an overwhelming amount of evidence will increase your chances of interview being waived but nothing is guaranteed.
The March 2020 filers thread will give you an idea of how long people filing in the last 30 days are waiting for their NOA and extension letters to come through and info the potential out of date form issue.

I'm so glad I paid for the next day before noon delivery only for it to sit all weekend. 3 different available for pickup times listed so i'll call them and see if I can enact the money back guarantee but I'm sure they'll say the first time counts or that its not applicable to P.O. boxes or something.
Now begins the waiting game to see when my credit card gets charged or if I get an out of date form return......

ROC packet sent 3/19/20
My ROC window opened on the 20th Jan but life has been a little hectic. I heard about the local office closures and so I put together the packet today and Mailed it overnight to Texas P.O. Box, pricey!. My card expires on 4/20. I too used the only form available on the website so I hope we don't get rejected.
I did not include any health insurance or Beneficiary info in my packet as we don't have joint healthcare, I don't have any, and the laws regarding disposition of assets to surviving spouse are pretty much what we'd put in a will so we never bothered to draw wills. I figured that as the language of the supporting evidence document said 'should include' and not 'must include' meant not all of the examples were mandatory, for example not everyone includes affidavits according to my reading of the forums. I guess we'll see.

Can I ask you where you had your medical performed? It sounds very similar to the medical I had at an MDnow clinic. It was $250, after a $75 off coupon, and they weren't interested in my vaccination record as they did a full blood and urine work up which I was told was included in the flat fee I paid. I hope I don't receive a similar bill.

I recently had my GC interview and was not approved as I had not submitted an I-693 medical. I pointed out that my K1 medical was still valid when I filed the I-485, and according to the instructions on the USCIS website regarding adjustment of status from K1 that's all it needed to be, but the IO wasn't having it and insisted I needed a valid medical at time of interview. I got an RFE 5 days later and have spent $250 on another medical which I have just re-submitted.
Basically it's luck of the draw depending on what IO interviews you. You can , as has been suggested in other threads, take a copy of the section in the i-485 instructions that states the rule for K visa applicants, but there is no guarantee that it will change anything and trying to appeal these decisions is pointless.
You can also have another medical done to ensure you will have everything you need in case you get a poorly trained IO, even if you choose not to and they ask for it you will likely get an RFE afterwards rather than a straight denial of application so it will just mean a delay of another month in approval.
Good luck.

FYI - Went to my local MD Now walk in and they do the immigration medical for $325,I had a $75 off coupon so $250. It'll be 3 visits, first one today was blood draw, urine, usual measurements. they were fine with my vaccination record but told me I needed a tdap which they gave me and also a TB skin test which I'll get checked in a couple of days and as long as its negative I won't need another chest x-ray. Should have the i-693 complete in a week or so.

I am unfortunately in the same boat as Talmanes. I had my interview last week and was RFE for lack of 693.I pointed out that my K1 medical DS-3025 was complete and valid at time of filing but he wouldn't budge and I now have to go fork over $$$ to a civil surgeon for a medical. I could make an appointment with a supervisor and try to fight my case but that will simply delay everything further with no guarantee of success. My wife just wants me to have the medical done and get it over with.
Good luck

Bimb - My interview was on a Tuesday and I got the RFE letter 4 days later on the Saturday so as long as it's sent out straight away it's pretty quick. The IO told me that once the form is returned it should take no longer than 30 days to receive the card.
Ebunoluwa - I would love to fight this but my wife does not want to risk pissing them off when we are so close to approval plus the length of time to get appointments that may or may not end in approval is just going to delay things even further. The IO was not a newbie, he was middle aged and said he'd been doing this for 15+ years so there is little chance of him admitting he is wrong and I am doubtful of a supervisors willingness to overrule him.

I had my interview last week and was RFE'd for the same reason, medical had expired.
I was calm in the interview but was inwardly furious. Every scrap of documentation I have read has made it clear that for my immigration path , K1 visa, as long as the medical I had done before visa approval was still valid at time of I-485 application filing then an I-693 was not required. It's not as if the vaccinations expire after a year and is almost impossible to go from K1 medical to i-485 interview in a less than a year, My I-485 filing - Interview was 10 months.
From what I've seen on the forums it is almost entirely at the IO discretion as to whether this is required and many people are not asked for it so it's luck of the draw as to whether you have to go pay $$$ to a civil surgeon to fill out this form.
But as my wife keeps telling me there is zero recourse in this matter so I have no choice but to fork over yet more cash. One of my friends told me "If you want to be happy in the US you need to be prepared to pay for it"
Good luck

So they will issue a DL to someone with more than 60 days on their i-94 and renew if you have an NOA for your I-485 but on the DMV website it only says unexpired I-94 not 60 days eligibility left on it. They should be clearer about these requirements.
Thank your replies

I went to my local DMV office to apply for a driving license. I am in processing for my AOS and took along all my i1797's as well as my passport & i-94, social security card, UK drivers license and proof of address. They told me that as my i-94 has less than 60 days remaining I would need an approved i-130(spousal visa) or I-140(alien worker visa). I explained that I would never have either of those as that's not my immigration path and have an I-485 and I-131 in processing but they were adamant that I needed those forms. I asked for a supervisor and he said the same thing.
Am I screwed till I get my EAD?Green Card? Try another office? I know that after the 90 days is up on my I-94 I can no longer legally drive on my UK license but that's in a little over 2 weeks and I likely won't get my EAD till Sep-Oct.
It's annoying causes it appears to be down to who you get at the office at the time. Grrrr!!!.

Ty Fr8dog.
I am going with the form as is.

Thanks guys
This seems to be the issue at hand "because an officer is confused or doesn't understand", it depends on who reviews the forms.
I'll make my AOS applications and if I get an RFE then I'll go to the civil surgeon and get what I need.
Fingers crossed

I have done searches on this question and read all the info but I'm still not sure what to do in my case.
I have the DS-3025 copy given to me at my medical and it has the MMR, Td, and Flu vaccinations given to me on that date 21/11/16. I was vaccinated as a child for MMR but my records were lost (thanks NHS) so I had them give me another. I was approved for my K-1 in Jan 2017 and before I traveled to the US in April 2017 I went to my local Boots and had another MMR and Td as I believed I needed 3 MMR and 2 Td/Tdap. I am now in the US and we have married, 26/04/17, but I am uncertain whether I need a third MMR or to see a civil surgeon before filing my AOS.
The DS-3025 does not have either of the US vaccination requirements COMPLETE or US vaccination requirements NOT COMPLETE boxes ticked but in the remarks section on the next page the doctor put "This K-non immigrant applicant did receive the required vaccines and the US vaccination requirements are complete for this applicant"
So do I need a third MMR? Do I need to see a civil surgeon? The pharmacist who gave me the second shots didn't want to write anything on the DS-3025 but gave a me a certificate for the MMR and Td shots she gave me, Do I send that with my AOS?
Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks

I am experiencing a disrupted schedule and am beginning to feel the time crunch. My advice is to have things like property sales dealt with sooner rather than later. I have only 7 weeks left to enter the US before my K-1 expires and I am sitting waiting another 2-4 weeks before the buyer for my home gets there mortgage sorted out.
Your K-1 visa will be valid for 6 months from the date of the medical not the date of approval at the interview. If there is any significant gap between the two you need to remember this, the expiry date will be printed on the visa. I had my medical on the 21st November but didn't have my interview till the 17th January, I wanted to travel on ESTA to spend Xmas with my fiance, and so my K-1 expires on the 21st of May.
We had a schedule planned out when we submitted the i-129F in April last year and had we been able to stick to it My visa would have been approved late September/early October and I'd have moved before Xmas but my father got sick and passed away just as we got to embassy received and it threw our plans into disarray. There is no such thing as planning for every eventuality, be flexible.
Good Luck
