  1. Hi theonlymaster,

Did the welcome letter come with the case number? And how soon after that were you able to pay the AOS fee? Sorry that I am asking you so many questions it's just that NVC sent you the welcome letter really fast. I hope I will get mines soon so I can start this process and can finally have my husband. They received my paperwork from USCIS on Monday March 07, 2016.

Yes when you get the welcome letter. That included. Case number, invoice number and so many step. That you have to follow. One time you have all the information. You can created an agent. And pay the $120.00 fee for the affidavit of support. I get the approved notice. February 13th. then February 25th I get NVC Welcome Letter. Is like two weeks. In my case.
  2. Hello all,

I'm also an October filler to CSC and my case was transfered to Potomac on 11/9/2015. Last month I called USCIS and talked to somebody who told me that "When cases got transfered they proccesing times goes up to 6 months since the day it was transfered". So my case was transfered on 11/9/2015 it should be approved on or before 11/5/2016. Hope all you guys get approved as soon as possible, wish you all good luck.

P.s: They are to many pages here to read (118 till now) and I don't know if anybody who god transfered on 11/9 got approved?

My mother I-130 was transferred to potomac 9/11 get approved on February 13th. And still waiting one more approved for my father who was transferred 11/10.
  3. did you call them to get the case number or you knew about it only after you received the letter . Have you already paid the fees ???

I get the approved notice February 13th then February 25th I get NVC Welcome Letter (PAOSF) With 3 more pages. One of those pages was the affidavit of support fee invoice. Which included. case number, Amount Due: $120.00 and invoice I.D. Number to make the payment. Yes I already paid the $120.00 I will call today. To NVC I have so many questions.

  4. My case was sent to NVC on Feb. 29 and I called today and they said they received it today March 7 but it will take 42 days for them to put my information into the system. I just think that is way too long. What has everyone else's experience been on how long before they get the letter from NVC with the case number? And how soon after that can I expect to get the AOS bill?

So I will say give it a week for them to receive it.

I get a welcome letters from NVC after two weeks. They received the I-130 for my mother. With the case number and a bill from 120 dollars for AOS.

  5. I am new here. My I-130 for my parents was

    received on 10/6/2015

    Transfered to potomac 11/06/2015

I called today and was told the applications are still pending. It would be 5 months on March 6th.

Anyone in the same pending issues like me?

Me. For my parents. Received on September 11 Transfered to potomac. One and November 9th other one November 10th I get one approved in February 13th I'm still waiting for second one.

  6. That's because your petition isn't with USCIS anymore, it's with the NVC, which is the State Department (a totally different government agency). You won't get any more updates on the USCIS website. Now you have to follow your petition through the CEAC online portal for NVC.

Thank you so much. I'm still waiting for second approved for my father. His I-130 was sending to potomac on November 9th and nothing yet. Thanks again.

  7. Hi guys,

yesterday I received letters from NVC included case number inside and they received my case 03/1

So in 2 weeks after we got notice approval from uscis.

Congratulations. Same here I received a letters for my mother from NVC on February 13th but if I check at Uscis. status said. Transferred to potomac on November 10th. Actually already paid for the affidavit. $120 dollars. And I never get updates from uscis. I have text and email updates. On at my uscis account.

  8. Friends, My case was approved today after a 5 months and 10 days. My PD is Sept 21,2015.

For friends who are submitted around this time and early in October, keep checking online your status.

    USCIS will update online first.

Be patient to wait and call them if your case around 5 months so that they dont forget you!

    All the best!

Congratulations. And thanks for sharing. The information.

  9. Today I get a letter from NVC by mail. they received the immigrant visa petition.that I filed for my mother I-130 transferred to Potomac. On November 9, 2015 and approved by NVC on Feb 13 2016. so they send me a packet of documents. to start filling the affidavit. of support.

I'm still waiting for another I-130 for my father. On November 10, 2015, they transferred to Potomac. I don't know why my mother is going more faster than my father when the different is just one. day.

  10. Yeah i was tracking 28applicants same pd as mine. September 22. But, now as we all know that the system of potomac is still down and not working normally. Unfortunately, I can't tell how many got approved from our priority date. I know it's frustrating i feel you guys just in there. Soon, in god's time everything will be fine.

Tell me about it. I sent two I-130 for my parents same day. And I get just one approved and still waiting. For the second one.
