    Does USCIS send your email address to NVC in order for you to get a welcome letter.

    I called today NVC and the lady said if your consular is elegible for electronic processing then I will be able to send documenents electronically.

    Yes because I got a email. With the welcome letter,case number and pin number to pay $120 for affidavit of support. Last Friday. Nothing on the mail.

    Does anyone know how long it takes for the application to be sent to NVC. Its been 30 days and NVC say they haven't received my case and to wait at least 35 days before calling. Once they receive the file (36th day), it takes 42 days for the case no to be allocated. Is that true?

    Same thing with my I-130 got approved On April 12, 2016.

    On April 20, 2016 we sent your case, Receipt Number SRC##########, to the Department of State for visa processing.

    I call the NVC. 3 days ago they receive on April 24, 2016 but can take 4 weeks. To they send you the invoice with the payments process. And pin number.

    hey guys some help please

    on friday I filled out the inquiry on uscis.gov 04/08/2016 and I just saw that they changed the date as of 04/14/2016 what does that mean ..

    has anyone had this or...?

    all week it said a general On April 8, 2016, your general inquiry, referral number ....*********, was assigned to an officer for response.

    but now it said On April 14, 2016, your general inquiry, referral number **************was assigned to an officer for response.

    Thank God I got the second one petition approved for my father. I-130 I just get a text message. And already check at Uscis.gov

    TD to Potomac November 10/2015

    Inquiry submitted by March 30th 2016

    After that two letters from potomac. Saying that I have to wait from the date of the letters 60 day for a decision on the case. Today April 12th case for my father was approved. Good luck everyone. So happy. My mother application is waiting at NVC now can be completed. Together yeahhhh

    Case approved today !!

    Text and email received. Online status changed as well.

    Priority date: 10/16/15 (California service center)

    Transferred date: 11/09/16 (Potomac service center)

    Service inquiry sent: 03/24/16

    USCIS replied: 4/4/16 ( Your case is currently under review with an officer. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter)

    Case approved today : 04/8/16

    Waoo congratulations! I received the same letter today in my mailbox.

    Hey! I just got an email to pay for the AOS and I just did. Remember I said I can't do that yesterday? I got a welcome email today from NVC and prompt me to pay $120 for the AOS and the documents needed to be sent.

    There is something weird i notice. When I paid for my dad, it changed from both AOS changed to "IN PROCESS". Does that mean I only have to pay for one person cos I got two different receipts for both of them but I only pay for my Dad.

    Payments are separated for each of your parents. Now allow 3 or 4 day to complete the AOS payment for ur dad. And then u will be able to pay the $325 of visa application.

    Now with your mom. Case number and pin number make same thing as you did for ur dad. Good luck with this process.

    I see thanks alot ......I wish that they tell us really because potomac is 6 months and so many of us are waiting and no response

    thanks alot for the help I had to call a couple of times for them to submit a request :ranting::ranting::ranting:

    Same thing. With me I call them twice. First call don't go through. Everything can change for us. Next week. They are going to update the processing time. April 15th of each month they do that. So let's see what happens.

    Thanks. I don't not have a link to pay for the AOS yet. It shows N/A and the IV that has a link shows "NOT INVOICED". Therefore, I'm lost and I don't know what to do. May be I just have to wait for couple days before checking again.

    Yeah the 261 form is for an Agent. On my 261 I'm the Agent. Because get all the documents for my parents. So before you paid for AOS fee $120 the Agent form 261 has to said Completed. After that u get the link to pay $120. Wait 3 or 4 business days if you don't get the link to pay call NVC.

    I got the case # and Invoice # for my parents today. I completed the DS261 form but I'm concern about the IV fee. I saw a link that says "PAY NOW" but when I clicked on it, nothing happen. Does that mean I can't pay now or there is a technical issue. The AOS shows N/A

    Form I130 approved on March 24th

    NVC received it on March 30th

    NVC Case number received today via phone call

    Hi! If you already paid $120 today. Allow them 3 or 4 business days to process that payment after that you can pay the fees for IV. Normal process. I did it one months ago. You should get a receipt for the AOS Bill. After you make the payment. That you can printed and save.
