I guess the document required by Ecuador's Custom & Immigration is an original copy of the court declaration attesting so, correct?She still wants to get a notarized letter from the father authorizing the kid exiting the country so I told her that's OK too. I guess better safe than sorry.

Can anyone give me information about the process for taking out a minor from Ecuador on a K-2 visa? I'm not taking about the K-2 visa steps, but more like how to process the required "Permiso de Salida de Menor de Edad" and any other requirements imposed by Ecuadorian immigration. We want to do a follow-to-join K-2 and will like to have an idea of what's required. Thanks.

You either need a document notarized from his dad/mom saying that he/she is okay for the kid to leave the Ecuador... or a sole custody of the kid.....I am in the same boat....K1/K2 visa

I think you application was received by them on 02/03/16 and you got the text on 02/08/16 correct ?

We already got a confirmation text from USCIS saying the case was already received. It has the receipt number and it's saying that Official receipt notice (Form1-797) is to follow in mail. Anyone knows what does it mean?

It means your case has been accepted and it should be router to the USCIS California Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number.. in other words the NOA1

Please let us know .....I called doctors on my country for the medical exam and I need to have the case number first but there is not wait time to have a appoinment with them

As far as I have heard you need the case number in UK, but i have also heard the wait aren't bad

So we can book our medical now without having the NOA2? what date are selecting for the medical since we do not know exactly when we receive the NOA2

After the K-2 is listed on the I-129F you won't see it anywhere.

The K-2 will just have its own medical, DS-160 and the visa fee and bring the K-2 to the interview and thats it

Are you doing K1 and K2 as well ? If the answer is yes the on your noa1 hard copy you have all the manes listed or just the fiancée or fiancé name ?
