enjoy it... you deserve to have this happiness... you worked for it... my daughter and i made a countdown calendar with the numbers in english and dutch... each day we turned over the piece of paper with that number... when it was done it showed 4 pictures of my sweet hubby... revel in your happiness

We use a centimeter, to cut off a day. Ok my son doesnt realy look at it, but i sure do. First thing I do every morning is cut off a piece ;-)

OMG only 33 more days. I was just looking ast Andrew flight thing for when he comes here and all of a suddon my heart started pounding real fast and I got nervous and stressy. OMG times goes so quick.

I better not look at the flight plan anymore if I react this way to that.

Em: We had a visit from sinterklaas ;-) He was ofcourse in nathans class yesterday and he told Nathan he would put something in his shoe next year as well and he would also get gifts on dec 5th. But was still planning on going trough with the tradition ;-)

Arazia: I am glad that Harry got around to tell his parents. And good to hear they didnt freack out. Or not totlay ;-) Man he had a hard time getting them together. I know from myself, dont have a good relationship with my parents. I dropped the bomb on my b-day a year ago. I didnt discuss it, but just anounched that I was going to work on my visa and move to Hawaii. Got a very distant and cool responce. I guess it is better then they starting lecturing, but you always hope that your parents burst out in tears and say they will miss you so much but they understand you go cause of the love of your life and bla bla bla. But maybe that only happens in movies. So i kind of understand why he didnt tell them sooner. And with him living at there house can make it harder.

Michelle, keep it together. Going to be hard. I understand. But just ehh what is it 9 more days? I can see you run around in your house from exitment and such. I am so happy for you. For me its 70 more days.

O yeah feeling like comming to hawaii say around the 17 of march. How it is looking now we prob will get married that weekend or the weekend after. I want to get married on the 21st cause of the first day of spring, you know start of new things. But yeah a wednesday is not so handy for most peeps cause of work.

About the packing,….isn’t it AMAZING how MUCH stuff there is ya gather over the years?!?!?

It sure as hell took me by surprise!

OMG Mark, you have no idea how long it took me to get all my stuff sorted out. I had to throw away a lot of ######. I had a very big basement that was filled from buttom till top with 32 years of memories. My mom was a pack rat as well and see kept all my stuff over the years. And then my house, so much storage space and all totaly filled. I am down to 16 boxes now and 6 suitcases. Maybe it will become 1 more box cause of the stuff I still use and want to sent as well. Still it is a lot. Ddidnt want to take more then 10 boxes, but yeah when you have a kid.....

he mark, gratz on your visa. I am so joelous of you that your flying home within days already while i still have to wait till febr 8.

Were I have been? Ehhh packing, cleaning out my house and moving to my parents house ;-) Were I will stay till we move.

We had the same thing, never been touched. I was wondering if something was wrong and there came noa2. So yeah even if you dont see it they are working on it.

If I read the new stories I am happy we filed in febr. So much more hussle if you file now. It was so much easier in the old days ;-)

Mel.....What sort of items are you talking about? If it is only small stuff, it can be send through regular mail in a box. I believe any box under 10 kg is like 34 euro's. It needs to be send through regular mail though and not priority and will take a while to arrive since it most likely will be shipped by boat, but it might be an option (although I am not to sure on the kg and price, but Rene could find that stuff out at the post office).

You are right. untill 10 kilo is 34 euro to sent ir trough tnt. Priorety is 52,50.

I heard from someone else who is looking in to shipping that the cheapest she could find so far 1750,- for 1m3. Tha t would mean for me that I can put 12 boxes is there. While if I sent them with tnt it only costs me 408. So if it is only small stuff that can be boxed then box it and sent it.

Ok, Andrew has to fill in the I-134 to proof he has enough income to support me and Nathan when we come here. He needs to sent in some bank stuff, and some employment stuff. But does he need to sent in also tax papers from the past 3 years?

Then we look at his tax papers and he doesnt make enough in a year to support us. What forms do we need for the co-sponsor to fill in and what paperwork do we need from the co-sponsor?

hehe your mom sounds like me on the evenings before the day Andrew leaves. I just cant handle that and I get upset angry and more. My twisted mind thinks it makes the goodbye easier or something. And I dont mean to fight with him and say the things I do. But I cant help it. My protection wall is totaly up and I am just so affraid at such a moment.

Maybe your mom is going trought the same thing. She maybe doesnt know how to handle the fact that you and the boys are leaving.

Try talking to her. F2F if possible. And explain that if your leaving and her having a hard time with that is the reason that she is acting like that, that you can understand, but that the goodbye will be more hurtfull. Or if this is not the reason try to find out why she acts like that. But I am almost sure it is because she has the idea she is going to loose you and the boys and she doesnt know how the handle that.
