  1. @ Rhonda: gratz on his new job.

And for me this was in my email this morning: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

The interview went real smooth. I didnt have to show any evidence at all. She only said that Andrew didn't make enough, but he starts a new job friday so we showed her the contract with his salary and problem was solved.

She didnt even look at our vacination supllement.

She asked when and were we met. Why he loves me and why I love him. What kind of wedding and were was the reception. Witch family members of mine he met and who I met of his.

And she checked the info on the forms. That was about it.

So I am a very happy camper right now :-D

  2. @kateandnik: sorry I dont know one.

For every one else: how is every one doing?

Here everything is good. Got all my stuff together for my interview, only need to make some copies. I hope my EAD card comes soon. Had an email it was aproved. Cause I want to aply for a job at singer. They are looking for people. So it would fit me perfectly.

  3. in a few weeks I have my interview. So does my 7 year old son. His is 30 min prior to mine. I wonder what they will ask him. I am not really sure why they want to interview a 7 year old, but oh well.

There r a few thinks I am not really sure about.

The completed medical examination (form I-693) in sealed envelope? I had my medical in the Netherlands and the only thing I have is an xray and my shots record.

all documents establishing your eligibility for lawful permanent resident status?

And i guess we need to start taking pics of our selfs ;-) I only have shots of hubby and my son. I am always behind that thing.

Thanks for any help and advice.

  4. so I had my biometrics past week. Wow it went different then i expected. The later stated no electric equipment were alowed to be taken into the building. So I imagened it a bit like in Amsterdam that your bag get checked and you hand in your cellphone and get it back after.

So I went into the building. No securety. Just some bored guy sitting behind the desk. needed to write down my name and time of appointment. He looked at my appointment letter told me to fill out a form bring that to the next desk. So i did and I could get finger printed right away. No body was waiting there. Talked a bit with the guy and I asked if he had an idea how long it would take for me to get my interview date. he said that most peeps who come for the biometrics have the date already but I could expect it within a month.

And guess what was in the mail. My interview date is at august 15th. Need to bring all kinds of stuff. And my husband.

Nathans interview is 30 min prior to mine ;-) I am so happy but also a bit nervous.

  5. Got a letter today, july 12th is our biomatrics apointment.

Hehe called mom to arange the stuff. And I dont want to go alone, cause I dont know honolulu. Hmmmm sounds like a shopping trip after the apointment.....

And now to look something up. I was certain that kids under 14 didnt need the biomatric thing.

  6. hehe we are finaly done with out paperwork. It took forever for us to get our mariage license and my hubby likes to put everything off till the last minute. Its ready now to be sent out tomorrow, but i am so afraid that we forget something and that we will be deniged. I know i worry way to much.

  7. hi edie

haha isn't it time you start your spring cleaning already. ;-) You must be getting so exited. 2 more weeks. Time flys (or so it seems on my side)

Here it is getting way to warm for my taste already. But then again, I cant stand the heat to much ;-) Ok I know i moved to the wrong place.

I filled in my part of the paperwork. Andrew is going to finish up his part tomorrow. Then i need to get some nice pics of my self and copy some stuff and them i will sent it out next week.
