If it took 2 weeks (June 1-June 14) total for petitions to be send to AND received by CSC, I wonder how long it will take them to send out RFE's to everyone with an NOA1 after March 6, receive them back, match them to the appropriate petition, then begin adjudicating it... and they have to do this for 10,000 people! Not very encouraging is it? (
Still trying to be hopeful!)
That is exactly what I am thinking. . .

Good Find!!
THis just gives us an extra bit of hope and it is great to know that there are many of us who are willing to give the rest of us the scoop!

Maybe they made an exception you because if you don't you will not have your envelope in time for the interview. But I will be headed to Saskatoon for my medical eventually, so if it is possible for everyone going to him to do that, then that is great!!

Yes, add me to the "Transfer club"
.
I wonder if there is anyone that hasn't been sent to CSC yet, and is still in NSC? Ah well, good luck to everyone in this process.

Good idea.
All of us will be interested to see what the answers are!

Whew, Good thing.
Got some reason I thought that since I had lived at my fiance's house while on a different visa that someone might get the wrong impression at the interview.
Thanks for settling that worry. Have a great day!

Hi All,
Well, here I finally post! I got bored of being a guest real quick so I made the next step!! Although everyone already knows how great of a website this is, I think everyone just needs to think of where they would be at this time without the support of VJers
. Yikes, I have just started my journey and have gotten so much help already! Thank you all
.
Here is finally a question that I have that I could not find on this website after some time of being a “guest.” Here is some background. I met my fiancé for the 1st time while interning at a company using a J-1 visa. I never knew him before that. I was offered another summer position the next summer at the same company (which just so happens to be the same company that my fiancé works for.) I accepted the position, and worked another summer at this company using a new J-1 visa, and I lived at my fiancé’s house while I worked there. I did not overstay either of my J-1 visas and was in good standings for both. However, I am wondering if there is a chance of a red flag since I lived with my fiancé (boyfriend at the time) while working using the last J-1 visa. Will they think I had bad intentions – thinking that I just got this visa just to visit my fiancé?
I needed a summer job, and the extra bonus was that I could spend some time with my fiancé (boyfriend at the time) for the 4 months that I was there for.
If this could be a problem, is there something I should be prepared to provide the interviewing officer at my K-1 interview (LONG time off, I know) to hinder her assumptions of my intentions, and my possible denial of this visa based on the above situation?
I hope I’m worrying for nothing!
Thanks in Advance,
