  1. I don’t know which visa. But her father did the surgery in the USA. Her father is a Jamaican and she is an American. She was messaging me how she did it. His father is recovering now. She told me that her insurance wouldn’t cover it because it’s a pre existing condition.
  2. This lady on tik tok told me that she applied for a humanitarian visa and she didn’t have insurance. So she got emergency Medicaid. Her father had the same tumor but it wasn’t as bad.
  3. I filed for her in March 2025. But it was couple days later she was diagnosed with the tumor.
  4. Good evening, everyone! I hope this message finds you well. My mother is currently in Jamaica, and I am seeking advice on how to bring her to the United States for surgery. I am a citizen of the United States, while my mother is a Jamaican national. In March 2025, she was diagnosed with meningioma, which are brain tumors. Although the doctors had planned to perform surgery, it was ultimately cancelled. Recently, the hurricane has impacted the hospital in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and they are now planning to discharge her despite the presence of the tumor in her brain. As a result of her condition, she is unable to walk, talk, or eat, and is being nourished through a feeding tube. I would greatly appreciate any information regarding options available to facilitate her travel to the U.S. for this surgery, as she does not possess a visiting visa. The intention is for her to undergo the surgery and then return home afterward.
  5. Well, let’s see how better she gets. She was fine until she hit the knee. She will recover. She is 51. If not, I would take care of her. Thank you very much for your response
  6. I do have insurance. What aspects of the medical examination do they evaluate? I believe she will be able to walk again shortly; she just needs to recover her knee. She was walking previously but experienced knee pain, and on Saturday, she injured it further.
  7. Good day, everyone. I have submitted an application for my mother. She is currently unwell, suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes. Recently, she was diagnosed with a small, non-cancerous tumor on her brain, which is not life-threatening. She also experienced knee pain, resulting in a fall that caused her to injure her knee. At present, she is confined to bed, and other family members are assisting her with mobility. There are moments when she appears somewhat confused. I would estimate her overall health at about 70% compromised. I am concerned whether this situation might affect her chances of obtaining an immigrant visa.
  8. Good morning! I recently filed I130 for my mom. However, do you think I can let her apply for a visiting visa?
  9. What does that mean? It’s only 3 of us living in the house. Is it sufficient to file?
  10. Hello everyone! I am a US citizen. I want to file for my Mom in Jamaica. My husband is the sole individual employed full-time, earning an annual income exceeding $100,000, while I am engaged in part-time work. Additionally, we have a son. Will this situation have any implications? What is the amount of money I require? Looking forward to your response.
  11. Okay. But they need to check information before agency submit. Well, I’m sorry about that.
  12. Update me on how it goes
  13. Can you give me an example?
  14. None. Can’t recall. What were the stories?
  15. I find it amusing, but I do not require legal representation. Upon my arrival in the United States, I completed all necessary documentation independently. I will prepare the application for my mother and save it for her. Subsequently, she will log in, sign, and submit it. The guidelines indicate that while someone may assist in completing the application, the individual who will attend the interview must provide their own signature. Although I considered signing on behalf of my mother, as your wife did, I assure you that it is not a significant issue.
  16. What is correct?
  17. At that stage, it seems plausible that the customs officer may believe that individuals are unlikely to flee to another country. Older individuals often have a preference for their own homes. For instance, my grandmother exhibits this tendency; she is reluctant to visit the United States and consistently finds reasons to remain in her own residence. Thank you
  18. I know that the person doesn’t have to fill the application. What about the signature it requires? Can I sign it?
