Check my thread maybe it'll help

If your brother is a USC I would assume that petition is not necessary for the kid. He might need to file for CRBA.
Disregard my comment didnt notice you wrote that your brother is LPR

That is correct
did my DS-260 Online yesterday once I received my Manila Embassy Case Numer MNLXXXXXXXXXXX. Filed my online SLMEC registration form. Made My visa interview appointment.
Its my understanding that all required documents will be hand delivered at the Visa Interview-- AOS form 864, Cenomar, Birth/Marriage and so forth? I will also Pay the fee at the Embassy?

You can call National customer service center.
Hi Guys,
Is it possible to change the information in DS-260 after submitting it? My husband quit his job and got a new job and we want to update the DS260 to write this.
Thanks!

Is a usa drivers license and a billing statement for a car loan enough for proof of usa domicile?
-should be good. When we did ours my husband only has drivers license and bank statements
-
Nope
Did they give your husband any problems about only having tourist visa?

As the petitioner you still need to prepare i-864 with a letter explaining why you didn't file taxes. Then have your sister in-law be the joint sponsor by preparing an i-864 too
Hi Lhanz0729,
For the AOS, what did you husband attach with the AOS paper? We applied for DCF last friday and the application was accepted, I read in this thread that we will need to bring the AOS with us to the interview and I am worried that I cannot provide document we need for the AOS because I have been living in the Philippines since 2015 and I did not work in US in the past years. My husband's sister who is a permanent resident in US is willing to be a joint sponsor, since I don't think I can provide the documents we might need for the AOS do you think it's better if his sister be the main sponsor instead?
Thanks in advance.

If your husband is the USC then he needs to go.. 325A is bioform that you guys need to submit during the application.
Here's also an idea of how much you'll be spending for the process.
$420 - to file
$325 - to be paid during interview
11,300 php - medical at st. Lukes
Then some other expenses like hotels and transpo.
Can I ask? what is 325 A? and does my husband has to go with me to file the I-130? He is not well enough to fly to Manila, for he is still recuperating from being sick. Thank you so much in advance

You don't have to reseal it. Just make sure the yellow envelope is untouched.

It has to be from NSo. I think you can request for early endorsement
For the "NSO copy of Marriage Certificate". Can we use the marriage certificate we signed on our wedding day? The NSO office does not have our certificate in security paper yet. I wonder if we can use the certificate me and my husband signed on our wedding day. Thanks

The approval took 8 business days for us. The entire process was a little over one month but we could've completed it in less than 3 weeks if we didn't slack.

It's okay to go back to the states after the filing. Some wait for the approval just in case USCIS ask for more documents for whatever reason

Got quite confused with "future husband" and proving bonafide marriage.
If you guys are not married yet,you need to file i-129f and that can't be done through dcf.
You can accompany your husband during the interview and maybe stay in a hotel for the medical since you won't be allowed inside St. Lukes i believe.
Showing rental receipts under your name and your husband will be a good proof too since it shows joint responsibilities. You may also show utility bills under your names.
Now,if you guys are married and you've been living in the Philippines for 6 or more months you can file i-130 at the embassy with your husband.
Hi Lhanz0729 or anyone who can answer my questions. Can my "future" husband accompany me when I file for I130 and can I accompany him for his Medical and Interview? Basically, I'd like to be by his side throughout the process. Also, you stated that you have a lease agreement with your dad. Is that okay because I was planning to make my caretaker sign the lease agreement instead of my parents who actually own the apartment. Do you also have to show monthly rent receipts? We don't have a child so what are other proofs can we show to prove our Marriage is bonified? We met on Facebook and we interact everyday so that's going to be a billion pages I have to print out, how do I narrow it down :/ Thanks in advance for your response.
To update:
Had my interview yesterday (March 30, 2016). Our shcedule was 7.30 am but they started letting people in at 6.45am and it only took us 35 mins to finish everything.
First they will collect your passport, appointment letter and DS-260 and put it in a ziplock.
Second: you'll go through security and will go to ticketing window and will be instructed to go to Door 2 window 38
Now for the actual process:
Step 1: Biometrics. They will ask for your DS-260 form and verify your application. (Line is long but because my baby's with me they let us go first)
Step 2: Finger printing (first in line again coz of my baby)
Pre-screening with Fil - collected 864s, bc, mc. Were asked forcour address in the US, DOB, Date of Marriage and name of petitioner. He was looking for our joint sponsor's W2 but we didn't have it, so he said it's gonna be the discretion of the CO.
Step 3: Oath taking (they made me skip this part and went straight to step 4 coz of my baby)
Step 4: Interview with CO. I was only asked for my name, DOB and date of marriage the other questions were asked to my husband like information about our joint sponsor, almost felt like it was not my interview but my husbands'
As soon as we got home, checked status in CEAC and it says Ready, checked today and it's updated to ISSUED weeee.

I got the regular stamp on my passport. I got so confused when the officer told us that we just make the call on our 2nd anniv that's why I've decided to post my case/questions here to be enlightened.
Thank you guys for the reply really appreciate it.

I wanted to wait for our 2nd anniversary coz I dont wanna go through the tideous process of ROC but my husband is too stubborn to listen
Hi, Never heard about it being done that way. When I was at the interview at the American embassy in Stockholm though, they informed me that since we were only a few days away from celebrating our 2nd anniversary, they could wait for that date to pass before they did the final decision. Of course I said "yes" and so I received a 10 year GC instead of a conditional. After I entered the US border it took about 2-3 weeks for the GC and the SSN to arrive. If you haven't received the GC by now you should probably call them whether you will receive the conditional or the LPR to make sure everything is okay... And why not wait until the 2nd anniversary, as it is coming up any day now and the CBP officer actually instructed you to do that, just in case
.

Get him a ph passport. It'll only take 3 weeks (based on experience). Since he's only 6 you dont need to set an appointment.
-
Thank you guys for the reply.
I've been googling too and couldn't find anything that's why I've decided to post it here.
Oh I meant SEA for Seattle

Hi, I recently entered the US through SEA port of entry.
The CBP officer told me and my husband that he's giving us a waiver to get the 10 year GC instead of the 2-year card since we're only 2 months away from our 2nd year anniversary. He told us to just call and make an appointment when we reach our anniversary to get the 10-year LPR card.
Is it normal for CBP officers to give waivers?
Has anyone experienced the same?
Oh and it has been almost two months and i still don't have my greencard (I woner if they're waiting for us to make the appointment?

Mine was black and white and I only photocopied the biopage and the one that has stamps
Hi there I have a question, I will be filing DCF in Manila too. Do I need to photocopy all pages of my passport? Also did you photocopy in black and white or was it colored? Sorry I'm really nervous!
-
If I remember it right we paid $420 for the petition, $325 for the visa (during interview), almost 12k php for medical and $165 for green card.
Thank you for this informative thread. Just wondering, how much did you spend on the whole visa process? So I can prepare ahead of time. Thanks.

DCF is really fast. We filed Feb 16 and got approved March 30. We could've finished the entire process in less than 3 weeks if we didn't slack...
Anyway here's what we did:
