How is everyone doing?
Hi dear, well by his grace. Getting ready for the holiday.
Just a quick update. We had our first child. A girl😊she is 9 months on Thanksgiving Day. Her name is Savanna. It's been a wonderful year. Just put in for my 10 year application and got my extension while my file is being processed. Looking forward to the holidays. How are you and your family doing? Well I hope.

Hello all,
I have one quick question if you guys can please help. I filed divorce waiver in may 19 2018 with the help of attorney. So to which address does uscis send notices - mine or attorney's? Or to both ?
Thank you
I'm not sure but I would think it would be both. Especially if the lawyer send in your documents from his place of business.

The I-751 needs lots evidence to show ongoing marital relationship to be adjudicated. Evidence showing joint financial liabilities are highly preferable. You’ll need evidence stemming for atleast the past 2 years such as joint bank account statement with transactions, joint credit cards statements, joint lease/mortgage, joint insurance policies (car, health, life), joint utility bills (water, sewage, garbage, phone, cable or internet), wills or medical power of attorney, birth certificate’s of children born in marriage and anything to show ongoing marital relationship. Not all cases get interviewed as majority get approved without an Interview. In addition it will take approx 18 months to be adjudicated depending on the service center, but you can use your I-751 extension letter as well as expired green card as evidence of status for that time. You can file 90 days prior to the expiration date of your 2 year green card as well.
Thank you for the very detailed information. It is greatly appreciated. I'm on it right now👍

My 2 years green card will expire in November. Any advice on what to do to prepare for my i-751 form and procedure and possible interview? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

GM, hello dear. Congrats on the new apartment 👏in response to your question. The only place I was inform to report a move to a new resident is to USCIS.

Know I am a little late😄but congratulations. That's good to hear. Very happy for you👏👏

In my country it's straight cash for me as I only use my card for withdrawal of cash at the bank and only in emergency which is rarely.
So being here and using a card so much takes a while to get use to. But I'm getting there.
It doesn't help my fear with these criminals out there, who wants you to go to work for your money so they can steal it.
-
Wow I'm sorry that happened dear. Thank you so much for the heads up. Some people can be so evil.
Will definitely spread the word around. Thank you guys.

Oh wow😮I have never heard it and pray not to.
I am coming from a island where hurricanes threat is issue almost the whole year so I need a break lol

Hi Guys, hope everyone is well. We got a few hail drops and got a call not to go to work an hour before I was due but all was well on my side😊
Getting together for lunch sounds like a great idea💃💃 My schedule is pretty flexible. I am pretty free most Tuesday's and Thursday's. Also have no problems getting to downtown ATL.
-
Wow😮so glad you guys are safe. We heard about it at work.
Glad you got things figured out with the bank. I hate being given the run around with banks.
The least they could have done was let you know why the funds were being deducted.
-
That's nice @Becci391. We use USAA. We were able to do everything online. I so dislike going into banks lol. But I heard BOA is a great bank?
-
I so wanted to go to the international car show but my schedule at work i's horrible lol.
Never been to Edgewood Ave but I have heard of it.
As @Georgia16 says you can live further out but it would just be a longer travel.
I loveeee the cherry blossom trees. My husband don't?he said they look a mess to clean up. I wouldn't mind, I think if I can get a small one I would like one in our back yard.

Hi guys?Congrats on your husband job dear @Roy&Chanel.
I understand your concerns as I had the same ones when I was job hunting last year. My last job was in 2007 as a librarian and I didn't left on good terms with my supervisor. After that I work from home while going to school. So I was very worried about not having any steady references on my resume. So I put my instructor from my school and that was it. They never call my instructor or the library where I worked. They told me they will contact immigration to do a background check and get back to me. They took 3 days and that was it to get back to me.
I think you should be fine. They already did a investigation on me before I came into the country.
But I do hope all will be well with you and your husband.
I am very happy that he got a job?
-
Ok good luck guys. And be safe.
-
Thank you @Georgia16 we think it's a great plan.
I do understand that @Roy&Chanel I have top certificate from my country and I came here and they are worth nothing lol. I have to be starting from the almost bottom again at my age. I will be 34 next week.
Didn't plan to starting school again at my age lol but you have to do what you have to do

Oh wow. Some people can be so insensitive to other's feelings. I live in the Grayson area and I have only one neighbor to my right and it's a older lady living in New York she comes down twice a year and my other neighbor is the deers, squirrels and birds. I cannot see myself living anywhere else.
I do hope things work out soon for you and your husband.
Just be careful out there please

I live in Gwinnett county. And their is indeed a lot of Asian communities.
I work with 2 very lovely asian ladies.

Planning for Christmas. Christmas is the best in my country. I should have been home sincentives last year lol. Got frustrated last year when I was job hunting and getting the run around with regulatiins that I packed my bags 2 times.
All I can say is my husband is a patient man?
Things have settled down now since I start working. My only plan now is to Lear how to drive and have a few mini us?
-
Where are you guys moving to? If you don't mind me asking? I can't see myself moving from Georgia lol.
I told my husband I refuse to change from the crazy people I'm already dealing with lol
-
Good morning everyone, welcome to our members. Hi Roy&Channel sorry about everything. I do understand your situation. I do remember last year when I was frustrated with the systems here, my country is referred as a 3rd world country but things are so much easier and understandable there lol. All these regulations and run around is tiring.
But I do hope things work out well for you dear.
I am still not driving. My husband take me to work and back but I'm 15 minutes aways so it's not too bad.
I wanna go back home for a vacation?God know's I need it just from dealing with all these paperwork etc lol.

Thanks Georgia16?
@Roy&Chanel. I live in Grayson and work in snellville. It's 10 minutes away. 15 if the traffic is bad. My husband work from home so he drops me off and pick me back up. It work out really well. I don't do glassdoor either as they seem to send me too much unwanted stuff. This is my first job in retail and I am loving it.
