I forgot to mention that once he realized that I had not sent his sons aos petition he was worried and asked me to please continue with the process as if nothing happened and that he would sign whatever he needs to sign so I won't be liable for 10 years... He pretty much asked me to commit fraud in front of a immigracion officer 

Isn't it considered a joint petition? He deceived me and led me to believe he loved me when in reality he didn't..

A little history. He came to the US July of 2016 k1 visa we got married July 27th I was truly in love with him and he led me to believe that he was too, the reasons I now believe he only married me for gc are the following. He made excuses as to why he couldn't perform when it was time for intimacy, (he doesn't know what is wrong it never happened to him, no girl has had an issue with it why should I, maybe he needs to see a Dr or because he doesn't feel much of a man) then to his luck I fell ill and didn't need to give excuses for that, I had surgery may 2018 so then came the excuse as to why not sleep with me, (he didn't want to hurt me, months later it was the TV light bothers him, he snores and doesn't want to bother me) but all this time he showed he was loving and caring like I thought too good to be true type. come time to send his roc I started the petition in Feb 2019 which I sent, March 18 I get receipt letter he then was pushing for his sons petition which I was working on but hadn't sent because I needed a joint sponsor, he was under the impression that I sent it and all we are waiting on was permanent gc.. I started noticing him different in Feb he came telling me his wedding ring fell in sink while washing hands... Come April 18th he tells me that due to us not sleeping together we've distant ourselves therefore he started talking and seeing someone else for the last week, I come to find out it's been since Feb 2019 that he started talking to 3 women not just one ... If he wanted to be honest with me, why wait till I send the roc? That's all he did was wait for me to send the paperwork, mind you he tells me this one week before I was to have another surgery. He would also tell his son how he is sacrificing himself for him to have a better future and to wait for him (wait for him for what) ..Do I have something to fight for or will I waste my time? I really want an annulment rather than a divorce but will that have an effect? Everywhere I read it says just take it and move on... I just can't believe us as citizens don't have protection for this.

we had our interview today and was approved yeeeey! so happy.....but what next? how do we know if passport has been sent to were we told them to? we signed up to the site they told us to and told them to send it to a specific DHL office.

we filled out the ds-160 form for my fiancé and his son and put that they would each be traveling alone. which they are, my fiancé will come first and his son will follow within the 6 months the visa is good for. ( I was told I can do that) not sure now if this can be done because they are telling me that he cant travel alone because hes a minor. his son is 14yrs old will turn 15 in December should be coming in October. I know some airlines will let him travel, does it have anything to do with the embassy and the visa?

if anything I can go and pick him up but now he wouldn't be traveling alone like stated on the ds-160...im so confused now and scared that this may delay the process.

can this be done? please help, their interview is 06/14.....my fiancé and I decided to do this so we have some time to settle in.

question...we need to translate the birth certificate from Spanish to english, along with other documents...is there a form or template that the person translating needs to sign? if so where can I find it?

I still haven't received a letter from the NVC and they shipped our case off to the embassy a while ago...should I be concerned?

I was told I would not receive one....I filed for the k1 fiancé petition

mine shows its in transit and interview was scheduled but doesn't say when it is schedule...

so I called to the NVC to see if they had my case ( on day 28) petition approved on 03/31 and I was told it takes 35 days to receive, up to 42 days to input and after that up to 28 days for them to send the welcome package ....for some reason I think this is wrong but you never know....... does anyone know if this is this right?

im at day 33. Called earlier. Not received. Will call again about 30 mins before they close

so frustrating!!! did they tell you 35 days as well?

still no NVC case number, my approval was issued on March 31st....anxiety kicking in. called this morning and was told it can take up to 35 days after that they would have to track it...lets hope it doesn't get to that

They didn't tell you not to call it's just their standard response that it can take up to 35 days blah blah... Just call again later...

my case was approved on 03/31 I called the NVC this week and they still don't have the case...I want to call today but I was told not to call till 35 days from the date of that notice ....im dying to call tight now!!!!

can I keep calling or its not recommended till 35 days from the date of that letter?

I just wanted to say that we are finally APPROVED we are so happy......not sure what next, I will have to do research now as to what to do next. after 72 days, we got it though!!!!

I have not received the NOA2 approval. its been over 2 months and have not heard a beep

petition sent Jan 15th received hard copy 01/21/2016 showing receipt date 01/19/2016......I want to call them and ask.

So sorry to hear! Ours was received 1/19 also and was approved on 3/4. I never got an email or text notification for the NOA2 or approval despite having received them on the NOA1.

Have you created an account? our NOA2 was received 3/11. So have faith! Could just be delay!! Fingers crossed for you!!!!

If you call you'll probably get the common response of 5 mos. because that is their normal processing time. Even though we know they're processing right now at an average 45-60 days, but their "normal" is 5 mos.

quick question, how long before you can call USCIS to check status on your case?

I sent my K1 petition back in 01/15 and received the confirmation that they got package 01/19/16 NOA1 ...I have not heard anything

first id like to thank everyone here for the support and knowledge. I have a few questions, my divorce was final in March of 2015 I never got around to changing my last name, I just didn't really take the time to go to DMV or social security office.

I just sent the package, would they question as to why I have not changed my last name? is that going to delay the process? can I change it in the middle of the process?
