My case was approved today! A weekend and a half after been transferred to Texas.

Yesterday we went for medical exam - called for appointment few days before. They asked for 6 pics 2/2"
CXR, blood test for RPR,
Hubby already had the vaccinations: Hepatitis A, DTP, Varicella, Flu, Typhos, and blood test for Hepatitis B.
MMR is also required, but there is a national shortage of MMR in Indonesia, so they just recommended to get it in USA later.
Very thorough medical exam and past medical history.
Cost: 1,050,000 IDR. (80 USD).
Took ~4 hours (with no shots required).
The whole place is very cold, I wish we brought a sweater.

My husband had his interview this morning. He called me at 9:20am his time and had already had his interview and was approved. Thank you again and again God. He said it lasted less than 10 minutes. We are so happy.
I want to ask some questions. I'm suppose to go online and pay an immigration fee and it asks for an A number. Should he have that now or does it come with the visa?
He's going to go to work where I work (after we take some time off to enjoy this and take it all in) so I want to know how soon he can work...like does he have to get a social security number first, or a green card, or something and does it take long?
And what is the unopened visa package that the immigration fee web site is talking about?
Anything we should know about entering the port of entry or anything he must have with him?
This site and many wise and terrific people here have helped us tremendously on this journey and I want to say I greatly appreciate you. Thank you so much. I'm sure we will still have more questions and hopefully will also be able to help others by answering some from our own experience.

hi everyone my visa was aprroved al hamdoulila and im palaning to go on 25th july ! But the thing is the 21july me and my wife will complete 2years of marriage ! So i will receive the 10years green card or it gonna be just 2years conditional visa ? Do i have to tell the officier at POE that we completed 2years or he will know by himself ? Thank you

Finally, I got my interview date for Aug 19, 2016. So for the process has been smooth without any problem, hoping the same at the interview stage.

I'll try to keep this as brief as possible but I feel like our case has been the most Roller Coaster of emotions that is nearly impossible to believe.
A little about us: My wife and I attended the same high school, at the same time (albeit one year apart) and had many many mutual friends, yet never met until years later when she was already abroad. We started talking on facebook via mutual friends comment sections of their posts, then it escalated into a private chat and the rest was history.
This is important, because itll come into play later on.
Our CR-1 visa process started off normally, I sent in the packet in August and it was transferred to Texas....NOOO the black hole!
Shortly after that we were transferred again to Potomac....new service center WOOO! fastest!....WRONG, we were between NOA1-2 for 7 Months essentially.
After we were finally approved and on to NVC the strangest thing happened....we were expedited without asking for it.
Apparently due to the Olympics, our case was sent to Rio de Janeiro to get processed quickly.
Interview date was scheduled before I even got news that my packet had been touched.
I fly to Brasil to be with my wife during her interview and boom...DENIED
the reason was because she had lived here before and turned 18, stayed until she was 19 and 34 days. Thats right, because of essentially 34 days she had a 10 year ban.
she had lived in brasil for 8.5 years so the officer told us to just wait out the extra time and try again
Something was right though, when she lived in the states she was in the process to get her Green Card, she had work authorization, she had a drivers license, etc, so there was no way she was illegally here. I fought it and started emailing every document I had in my possession that proved her legal status in the US while she was an adult.
IT WORKED!
fast forward 10 days and she received her passport in the mail with the sealed entry packet, the visa in her passport, the A number with the paperwork to pay the fee's
we are ecstatic and purchasing tickets etc before they call us and change their minds hahahha
never lose hope, and never trust those who tell you "its impossible" "she overstayed and now she has to pay the consequences" If you are persistent and you are right, things will work out.

I got my wife's schedule interview yesterday

Visa approved yesterday , today morning the status changed to ISSUED ! Im soo happy , thanks to everyone here !

Hubby was approved! It was touch and go he said as his medical information didn't arrive until the second part of his interview. Now we just have to wait the 7-10 days (UGH really? that long?) for them to process the Visa and get his passport to DHL.
If he gets his passport/visa in time his POE will be Tampa on the 9th. If it doesn't come early it will be Tampa on the 16th.

Im back guys! WITH MY WIFE.
Ill try and get on sometime soon to review, but I have to work now and catch up on the last two weeks.

You're welcome! Once I added fixed the differing entries and added the median to it, it looks a lot more realistic (and better!)
7 of 8 entries have scheduled interviews
Avg days from CC to Interview scheduled: 63
Median days from CC to Interview scheduled: 13
Avg days from CC to Interview: 53
Most interviews scheduled 6 days before or after month end
The one with the scheduling way out there is definitely wrong, but I can't fix the spreadsheet, only dwheels can.

So I have our interview date for Aug. I'm more nervous than my husband. After 9 years the time has come. After 12 years my husband will see his family too. I'm an emotional Rollercoaster but I know without God in our lives this would not be possible. Good luck to all

Interview August 15th

So I got a checklist via email but I'm confused. They said they need "proof of my U.S. citizenship", which I am sure I added to the package I sent in. But it also says, I do not need to send this proof to NVC and that I should send those documents to my spouse for the interview. Does this mean my case is still not complete? Trying not to panic……… Okay, nvm. I was typing this while I was on hold with NVC….
CASE COMPLETE!!!!! YAY!!!! I just need to send a copy of birth certificate to my husband which I did last weekend. AMEN!!! Thank GOD! Sorry for the lengthy response. Sending prayers and well wishes to ALL of you. xx
