Hello to everyone, I wanted to see if anyone had an idea as to how long it takes to get scheduled for visa interview in Ciudad Juarez. We received the go ahead to schedule last week but still the consulate does not show any open appointments. Thanks in advance for the information

thank you so much for the information

Hopefully in the next few weeks I will be traveling to El Paso to accompany my fiance to his visa interview in Ciudad Juarez. I am hoping someone has recommendations for places to park my vehicle on the El Paso side. I look forward to any comments. Thanks

thanks for the response and I am checking now

No we do not have an attorney, up to this point I have done everything myself because of the cost associated with an attorney. I did actually recently contact my congressman but it was at the same time the government was shutting down.

Well actually we did the K1 visa and it was approved back in 2016 but when he went for his visa interview he was denied because of the 10 year ban. We were told that he could do the waiver and then that is when we submitted the 601.

Hoping someone can help. I filed a 601 waiver for my fiance in January 2017. We only received notice of the receipt. We have contacted them several times and always get the same answer. They tell us that it is in line to be reviewed. I cannot begin to imagine why it would take so long. Our next question is that his 10 year ban will be up in March and so we are curious as to what we will need to do if by March we still have not heard anything in reference to the Waiver. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

That had crossed my mind but the application fee for the 601 was $1000.00. I am hoping it will be resolved soon. Thanks

My fiance and I submitted his 601 Waiver for Inadmissibility to the Nebraska Service Center back in January of 2017. We have submitted numerous inquiries and all say the same thing that our case required additional reviews. Our case has been there 21 months now and nothing. Can anyone offer information as to why it may be taking so long. His 10 year ban will be up in March just for the record. Thanks

The original 129 was approved back in October of 2015, but when he went for his visa interview it was refused because of the 10 year ban and he was told that we could do the pardon/waiver. That is what was submitted in January.

Good morning everyone, I wanted to touch base this morning and see if anyone knows how the processing is going at the Nebraska Service Center. My fiance and I submitted a case inquiry back in July, we received a letter stating that they were behind and asked us to allow them some more time. It said if I had not heard anything by end of October that we could submit another inquiry. I checked this morning and it allowed me to submit another inquiry. Our waiver application was received at the end of January. Has anyone else had any recent dealings with this office?
-
It definitely could not hurt. I think it is so unfair to not transfer the cases. The other service centers are current with their cases. Let me know how everything turns out. Praying for everyone going through this process.

I honestly believe that it is a money deal. I do not feel it is fair to make someone wait so long simply because that particular office is behind. I have looked at the other service centers and they are current on their processing. It is really disheartening to say the least. We have to keep moving forward and praying that this all comes to an end real soon.

Hi everyone, me and my fiance are in the same boat. We are waiting for his 601 Waiver of Inadmissibility to be approved. It is in the Nebraska office and of course they seem to be the slowest. I submitted his waiver January 25, 2017 and we have heard nothing other than the fact that they received it. I never knew immigration was so emotionally draining. Best of luck to everyone. Is anyone else currently waiting for results from the Nebraska office?

He left the early part of 2009, he took the voluntary departure instead of being deported, because on the letter he received Monday it says eligible after March 2019. I also wanted to know if I can submit the application for the waiver? What are your suggestions, with proper documentation of course to support the hardship
-
the letter states that it is a 9B2 and yes he did go for his interview appointment on Monday.
-
he left in March of 2010

His timeline was as follows, he came into the U.S. one time, undocumented, that was in March 2009. He did the voluntary exit. I recently discovered the difference between the bans. I see there is only 3 and 10 year.

We were not aware of the ban when we started the process because we payed a BIA accredited agent to assist with the application. One of the first things we asked, was in reference to the ban. He told us that the ban was only for 5 years and that we had to furnish proof that he had been working in Mexico during that time. That is what we did and when he went Monday he was told that his ban does not expire until March of 2019. My question now is how long after the denial of the visa do we have to submit the waiver? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My fiancé had his appointment at the consulate in Ciudad Juarez on Monday August 8th, unfortunately it was denied. He was told that he was under the 10 year ban from a previous undocumented entry in 2009. His letter said that it was possible for him to ask for a 601 Waiver. I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this type of denial. I am very angry, frustrated, emotionally drained and just not sure what my next step will be. I would appreciate any help anyone has. Thanks

the problem came in when he went to go get his new copy of his birth certificate and was told that his birth certificate that was in the books at the Registro Civil appeared to have been altered. He was sent to his mothers birthplace to get a certified copy of her birth certificate, a copy of his baptism record and many other documents and was able to turn them in last week. They told him that he would have the corrected birth certificate back within a month and a half. Then once he gets his birth certificate then he can go get his passport.

sorry for the late response. Actually we had an appointment in 2015, he was denied and so we had to wait for his 10 year ban to expire. This is how we got our appointment. It is scheduled for June 3
