  1. No Ryna. Ohhh the minute I hear I will be posting here.

I am a little worried about my NOA2 since the liason merged our petitions together and there is a huge about of evidence in the second petition.

I hope this is not holding VSC up from approving my case again so I can move forward.

Ryna, I think there are also some cases from March.. correct me if I am wrong. Trying to be strong and positive but sometimes it gets difficult for me.

  2. Getting a senator involved will not do much good. All they do is inquire about the case.

Our attorney was fighting pretty hard for our petition to stay at the consulat but the consulat was pretty stuborn and sent it back to VSC. It took 3 months to get back.

    We have since refilled.

  3. A waiver ? 601 waiver ? has your fiance ever been in the us illegally ?

Also, just because you are denied that does not mean you can ignore this petition. You actually need to write to the VSC and withdraw it. ( thats what the VSC told me ) and the denied petition should also be adressed in the new petition or whatever you are filling cause I am pretty sure they will question you about it on the next interview.

Getting married it not the answer either... that does not make it go any faster or easier. In my opinion they are going to ask you why you did not refile K1, why did you get married ?

  4. I am sorry to hear about your returned petition. Refile, do what you need to do.

My petition also got returned and the conul suggested for the petition to be revoked.. cause we dont have a real relationship.. WTH... then he slapped us with 212(a)5(a)

It took like 3 months for the petition to actually made it back to VSC... since then we were able to refile and merged the 2 petitions. Urhghgh

  5. asmik... I am only been "touched" so no NOA2 yet.

The interview should be the easiest, yeaa thats what I thought.

I been with my fiance going on 2 years. When we went to the consulate in Rio, I was more then prepared, brought my evidence etc.

My fiance did not answer the questions right, he was not thinking before speaking etc... he was just blabbering around when they asked him: tell me about your fiance. I think he was just scared and nerveous. I am also 8 years older then my fiance and his english is not the greatest. So I think these were the red flags for me. The consul thought we dont have a real relationship and returned our first petition with a recomendation to have it revoked. It took 3 months for the petition to get back to the VSC but I have also since refilled.

My 2 petitions have been merged together and hopefully VSC is sending them both down there.

So for all of you that are complaining that it takes so long, why have I not gotten my NOA2 .. its been 3 months... take a look at my timeline and think how long I have been waiting !!!!!
