congrats! ,  Were you asked to show the entry stamps in your passport?.

    Thanks.

No, my IO read every question from forms and ask me to answer. She asked How many times in past 5 years you have been out of country for longer than 24 hours? I said 3 times once in Canada and twice in Serbia. She did't ask when or for how long.

Congratulations, Could you please tell me what happened during the interview and the questions they asked you.
I got my appointment for next month but noting mentions I-751 at all. Hopefully, it will be a combo.

Most certainly it will be a combo. My case status for I-751 didn't change until 2 days after interview, when it was transferred to my local office, than it was transferred 2 more times, and from yesterday it shows Case was approved.

    Thank you

I finished civics, reading and writing tests first on one of the windows. Than I was waiting for about an hour until IO called my name. My husband was allowed to come with me inside. IO started with I-751, she asked questions from the form ( what is your legal name, your address...) than she switched to N-400 (again all questions from N-400). I had to change couple of things like address, my husband employer, etc. Than she gave me a paper and said that she will go through my submitted documents and I should have an answer by the end of week.  She asked if we have any Q for her so my husband said You didn't asked me anything. So she asked : How do you like your new wife? ( we have been together more than 7 years and my hubby got divorced 10 years before we met).

I had bunch of documents with me, but she didn't want to see it.  I'm glad that this is over.

  4. I had my interview last Tuesday and I got a decision cannot be made yet. The IO was very professional she read every questions from my applications. I had to change some things ( address, my husband employment info, etc.) I had bunch of papers with me, but she didn't want to see anything. She   asked me if I had any questions for her so my husband (he was with me during both interviews I751 and N400) told her that she didn't ask him anything. So she asked him :How do you like your new wife? 😠 My husband was married before, but he got divorced 10 years before we even met, we have been married since 2014 and dating 2 years before. She said she will decide by the end of the week. I finally got email today that I'm placed in line for oath ceremony :D.

I'm glad you had better experience.

Not that I am aware of.

According to USCIS my case status for i751 still shows "Case was received". But the officer had both application forms (i751 and N400) with him this morning.

    Thanks for info

I have interview scheduled for 05/21 and I have ROC pending in CSC. I thought that my I751 has to be transferred to Detroit for combo interview.

My ROC (i751) was pending still and I showed up for the interview by myself. The officer saw me alone and asked questions about why my husband wasn't here for the interview (why isn't he here?/where is he?/are you guys still married? etc.) before inviting me into the office. The whole conversation happened in the waiting area and I was worried that I might get turned back today. I told him I was there for the naturalization interview and they didn't ask for the presence of spouse for it. He looked at his file and told me we might have a problem. He invited me into his office and then explained to me that technically he couldn't do anything today until the ROC was approved.

Long story short, he went to check with his supervisor and I had to wait in the office for like 15 mins before he came back saying he will do a combo interview for me today.

Was your I751 transferred from CSC to another office?

I am not entirely certain when the transfer occurred as we did not receive any notice.  When my wife had her N400 interview scheduled, we assumed it may be a joint interview with the I751, so I made sure I could attend with her.  Sure enough, when the IO called my wife, she asked if I was there and then called us both back for a very short I751 interview.  The IO clearly had the I751 submission in front of her on the desk and she asked if we wanted to add any further information to that package (we added the past two income tax transcripts), then the IO verified the I751 biographical information and that was about it.  I was then escorted out and my wife continued with her N400 interview.  Two days later we received a paper notice that the I751 was transferred to NBC and a month after that, we got the NOA that the ROC was approved, so they scheduled my wife’s oath and we were done in early June.

I am not sure if that helps, and it seems there have been some changes lately in Detroit, but I have never heard of an applicant having to request a transfer.

    Good Luck!

    Thanks

I know that transfer supposed to happen automatically, but it didn't (at least according to USCIS case status and tier 1). I'm just worried that my file wont be here for interview and they wont be able to approve my naturalization. So I called USCIS to see where my file is and if I can do something to get it transferred to Detroit for combo interview and Tier 1 said that i should submit request to the office that I wont my case to be transferred. But reading your post I guess I751 will be transferred after interview.
