I don't know what to tell! I am very tired of the whole damn thing. We had to wait for every step; every step in this process was extremely stressful.

It was on the 4th. Today it showes AP. Whats taking ur wifes so long ?

Mine it went from ready to AP to ready and now AP? Did this happen to u?

I don't know why it is taking so long.

Ours has been saying READY since last Tuesday; the day after the interview.

I hope you and we will hear something tomorrow, because Wednesday is a federal holiday and the embassy is closed.

lol I hope so I am now concerned because of what happened in Jordan, someone killed two Americans I hope they don't take it against all Jordanian and it will be an excuse to put the visa applicants on AP. wish us good luck

I really did not start checking till the third day after the interview

Did ur wifes passport statues go from AP to ready?

Yes, and it has been on "Ready" for the last three days

According to Google, it normally takes at least five business days after the day of the interview to receive the passport with the issued visa.

My wife's interview was Monday, Nov 2, and still did not hear anything yet, hopefully tomorrow is the day.

Hi, my wife interview is in mid Dec in Amman and they are requesting a Saudi police certificate for her for the period we lived in Saudi !! Any one experienced that ?? We left Saudi 2 years ago.

You do not need it, because Saudi does not give police clearances for non-citizens after they leave the country. We lived in Saudi for a while. I got the fololwing message from the NVC:

Police clearances are unavailable for third country nationals who no longer reside in the Kingdom.

The only thing you need to do here is write 2 sentences letter explaining this, and sign it and date it

the letter f does not matter you need to focus on the s you need to send the originals to your spouse doing the interview because all of us only sent the nvc scanned copies the embassy needs to see the original signatures .

I would have her take them just in case. You never know what the consulte would ask from her. You rather be safe than sorry. You waited to long for anythinh wrong to happen now.

I don't need to send the police clearance so why do you ?

I know my wife does not need the police clearance, but she is insisting on obtaining one.

I just talked to my lawyer and he said that my wife does NOT need to bring the Affidavit of Support and/or the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the visa interview.

But on the letter, it shows the following:

F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE S

Letter F on the left and the letter S on the very right

No nothing for the embassy, but there's 165$ you have to pay online after you receive ur visa

This $165 is needed to issue the temporary green card, which you will receive soon after you arrive

The following is what people wrote earlier about the police certificate:

police certificate from Almukhabarat and the non convention from Mahkamet aladel , I took tax papers for 3 years , but he just asked the "tax papers 2014"

If I order a new one from المخابرات, it will take a long time. I already have one that is not one year old yet. If it is good for one year, then I should be fine. I will get a new non-conviction certificate for sure. But please tell me if I should get a new one from المخابرات as well.

Okay then just get a new non conviction certificate! Maybe they will not ask for police certificate, but take it just in case
