thank you I hope so he did tell them that I am pregnant and showed them medical bills from USA and the pregnancy test I did in Jordan before I left. he asked him how far is she and my husband answered, and then asked him when did she go back to USA he told him September 3rd.

I too know many people who interviewed after my wife and got their visas. We are all guessing here, you never know what's up with these people!

they ask me for pics and family book and email record and alot of thing 2 year from suffering and iam so down i cant beleive it

he received his letter October 16th and his interview was November 16th but he didn't include the marriage certificate when he dropped off his paper because we thought the court certificate would be enough. so when his interview was done they gave him back a yellow 221g letter with his passport back and asked him to send it back to them with the marriage certificate and family book ( Dafter 3a'la) and told him if the consulate believes that your marriage legitimate he will approve your visa and you will hear from us within 3 days after we receive your documents. My husband sent the documents on the 17th, they received it on the 18th and his status still say the same exact thing as your wife's?? if we don't hear anything soon I will call them and demand an answer ASAP because they didn't give an exact answer to him and his status didn't change at all since his interview not even to AP

I am sorry fatoosh3 to hear this, but it was a mistake not to include the marriage certificate because you cannot take a chance with these people.

My wife's interview was very very simple, they asked her: what is your husband's name, where he currently lives, what does he do for living, and have you ever been in the United States? afterword, my wife said the Officer smiled and told her congratulations your visa is approved, and you should receive your passport and visa within a week, and gave her the approval letter. This took place on Nov 2nd. Until now, the following is what we get:

they haven't moved with your wife's Visa, but they been updating it maybe they misplaced her passport or it could that they did need more documents but failed to let her know. your best bet is to call them and find out what happened! my husbands interview was November 16th and did ask him for more documents and his status says the same as your wife's but my husbands last update was the day of his interview

If we don't hear anything by Sunday, we will inshallah call, send an email and send a tweet.

when was the last update when you checked her visa status??

are you sure they didnt ask for more prove!! or missing documents? they could approve the visa but at the same time they ask for more documents

No, they did not ask for more documents; she was told that you should receive your visa within a week.

I'm going to the same situation my husband appointment was on nov 8 he was approved and we still waiting I check on the website and it says AP since the 12 of November

My wife had the interview on Nov. 2 and she was approved. Since then, the case is stuck on Ready; it did not move to AP or anything else. We sent an email stating the situation on Nov 11. Yesterday on Nov 17, we got an email back saying that your case is under process. We tweeted the consular yesterday demanding an explanation, she responded by saying to send and email to the address provided in the approval letter.

So, nothing is taking place; we are left in the dark. I am very worried and I don't know what else can we do beside waiting!!!!!

Is it possible for them to change their mind!!!!

My wife’s interview was on Nov 2^nd, and she was told congratulations your visa in approved. But it is still says Ready on the CEAC visa status check website. It has been 14 days with no changes. Did anyone go through such a thing?

Mahmoudasmara, check ur wifs's visa statues. My husbands statues changed to "issue". Alhamdillah.

This is crazy

I am very exhausted and cannot wait to be reunited with my wife and child. It has been 18 months from hell.

I know and thats whats holding me up. If it say issue can he go pick it up on that day or do we have to wait til the next day?

I think he needs to wait for Aramex to call him.
