    Hi All, I have my bio-metrics appointment scheduled for Monday in regards to my N-400, I want to get all the required documents together, from what I understand, I just need to bring the appointment letter, my state DL and and GC. Is that correct?

    Should I bring my passport and birth certificate just to be prudent?

    Obtaining Canadian Citizenship for my youngest child

    Hi there.

    My youngest daughter was born here in sunny California. How do I go about obtaining Canadian citizenship for her. I was born outside Canada in 1970 and received citizenship though naturalization. My local consulate would be in LA California.

    Do I need to go there in person? If I can mail in the forms do I have to send them my citizenship card will they send it back? Do I send them to the consulate or to Novia Scotia? My daughter is only 10 months old, so I fill out the forms as a parent- or do fill them out on her behalf- if so do I sign her name?

    first of all ,a big congr! and I'm sorry about ur situation. I can imagine it must be hard.

    I'm also currently pregnant and still in Canada ,but I might need to move to US while pregnant.(I do have the insurance already ..so hopefully we will be covered)

    To be honest ,I like the Thailand idea and I suggest you to travel during the second trimester( week 13 -week 27) instead of the third trimester( week 28-week 40)

    I've been searhing on the internet and most doc. do recommend flying during the second tri. as well....

    Does your husband have insurance already though his employer or privately? Just make sure he adds you to his policy as soon as you enter the US. If he waits longer than 30 days= then he can't add you until open enrollment which is usually the end of the year- for coverage at the start of the new year.

    You are both adults and knew the possibility of her becoming pregnant and should have thought this over prior to canceling health insurance. Now you want all of us tax payers to provide you with free medical coverage. You never considered birth control??

    It is like this "If you want to play....You have to pay"!

    Where did the OP state he was seeking state funded medical treatment? He made statements to the contrary when he said he was sure his wife was ineligible.

    He asked for insurance information and birthing options.

    Unless you have something more meaningful then judgment and ridicule to contribute, stay out of it.

    Sorry that you are going through this. I guess the silver lining is that it doesn't seem like YOU are inadmissible; and that it's your husbands current incarceration which has complicate things. At least if this doesn't get resolved timely- based on what you have stated, there shouldn't be a reason to deny you once your hubby gets out.

    At this point, October CSC filer's approved percentage is 59%.

    So, you don't have to warry, you are not the last one at least!!

    Are you sure you check online status with your Application number on your Biometrics appointment letter?

    If so, you can find your case at least and it would say "Initial Review" after biometrics.

    Hi- I was using the wrong WAC. I used the one issued with the receipt because it said that one should accompany all inquiries. Good news though- then I used the correct one- it said as of yesterday they ordered my card production. Woot Woot.

    Now she checked online status with Application number on Bio letter and she could find her case.

    And she was approved!!! Congrats!!!

    same here am not oct filler but I filled NOV

    and I didnt get a touch or anything not even after bio wich was 21rst of dec ,

    I was in Initial Review before the bio apoitment

    but am not worried as so many here told me with ROC it works a little diferant then AOS or K1 ,

    Roc many dont get touched at all till aproval

    I heard that as well.

    But I am happy to say I have been approved and the card had been ordered.

    What WAC number should I be using?

    I noticed that the WAC number on my I-175 receipt notice is different from the WAC number on my ASC appointment notice. When I enter the number on the receipt it says my case can not be found at this time and to check the number or call the USCIS. When I enter the other number- it says Oath Ceremony or Document Production although I have not received a letter saying my case was approved and my green card is scheduled for production.

    Should I be worried?

    I am an October filer, and I have seen NOVEMBER CSC filers approved. Talk about agitating. But that is the way USCIS goes.

    Hang on to your horses. USCIS works in mysterious ways. (In other words, you're fine.)

    I guess some of us end up in the 'dunce' workers pile and some of us get the 'eager beaver'. But thanks for the feed back- it nice to know I am not alone in my annoyance :)

    About online status, what do you mean "nothing comes up"?

    You can't find your case? Did you use your case number on your Bio letter?

    Or just it says "Initial Review"? if so, don't worry, it's normal thing :)

    Hi yes- I filled in Oct and am a CSC filer. I noticed there were some people who had their bio metrics after me who already have their green card. When I enter the WAC number it says nothing can be found.
