    Hi! Don't even waste your time on submitting la carta de solteria because is not necessary. Once you request your k1 visa interview appointment, they will send you a date and a list of forms and documents you must submit. Dont sit and wait for an interview because you are the one requesting it btw

      It's ok! is not! I remember waiting for 3 hours at the prefectura in Caracas just to found out it was not necessary. Besides the 20000 forms you can download on the USCIS website they will only request a birth certificate and police records (must be apostillado). It doesnt have to be translated at all and I strongly suggest to get several copies cause once your fiance is here, he/she will need it again to adjust

      and remember to request the medical appointment (ypu can find the panel of physicians on the embassy website) if you are in caracas, I highly recommend you Dr. Rigoberto Marcano at Santa Fe mall. Make sure to bring your vaccination card along with you cause otherwise you will have to pay to get a bunch of vaccines you probably already have

      I think ill probably have to get all the vaccines again ;( because I can't find my vaccination card, I'll see what I can do about it
