My other half and I flew back from Mexico City yesterday.. We both have global entry however I am unable to use it due to my extension letter. My other half works for a airline so checkin was un-eventful. When we arrived in Houston he used global entry then walked with me to the customs line. The greeter directed us to the visitors like because the line was unusually short compared to the very long citizen line. When we approached the booth I handed him my extension letter and my other half handed his global entry receipt. He asked why we both didn't use it and we stated because green card is expired..  He said oh that's right.. He typed something in the computer, stamped my passport and wrote LPR and we were on our way.. very uneventful.. The only downside is not having use of global entry.

you cannot not use the kiosk with your card, it will tell you that your card has expired.  You will have to mannally enter your green card number,select your flight and answer some questions then a receipt would come out. 

 

Pre-Check was never affected. 

This one is interesting I never knew you could manually type in your green card info without scanning. I work at the airport so I’ll have to see this one in action. Thanks.

It is different and you can track the number that’s on the biometrics. (Actually it shows two numbers the one on the NOA and the one for the biometrics. The biometrics one is trackable.

Here is one. As soon as I logged on I was hit with three in a row and could t hit the back button. I’ll post the exact urls as they come. Thanks for your help. To clarify it isn’t just a pop up it creates basically a new page for me. It happened on my old iPhone and this one as well.

I have been experiencing these ads constantly (every 2 min) on my iPhone X. It makes it hard to visit the site from my cell as I can’t hit the back button and I have to constantly go back and find the original thread again. I’m using safari.

There is no rhyme or reason behind USCIS. Some of us from November 2017 already recieved our biometrics appointments for ROC a week later. That is what’s causing the concern, I would still call tier 2.

Ok that was super fast that was the biometric letter.

Has anyone recieved a second letter already? My USPS informed delivery digest shows another one is on the way for me from USCIS. I don’t believe the biometrics appointments are moving that fast. 

Packet mailed by attorney on Nov 1st. NOA dated NOV 2nd. Check cashed Nov 6th and received NOA letter today Nov 7th.

Approved! We were verbially approved after our interview on the 17th of November however the status never updated until today! Yay.. Good luck everyone!

Our attorney contacted uscis yesterday and our status updated to approved today!

Same here and also Chicago. Our interview was on November 16th. IO stated that we were approved and here it is two weeks later and status hasn't changed. Our lawyer warned us that this has been going on recently and stated that she will contact them for us after two weeks. I will update everyone as she should be contacting them in the next two days.. Seems like a chronic Chicago problem.
