  1. being tired is not a medical emergency....and if caring for your mother is really that important, how will she survive during your two month absence? And who will take care of her when you get your immigrant visa and leave Nepal for a long long time? That is the inconsistency of your story...your mother cannot need your care, but oddly not need it while you are gone for allegedly two months....the COs are not issuing visas just because somebody wants one....they have to be 101% convinced that the applicant will return....but it sounds like (not surprisingly) that you would rather be with your wife...thus, the issue remains....what, realistically, will be the overwhelming reason(s) that would bring you back instead of camping out, waiting for the paperwork processing to be complete, and then do the ever-popular AOS while in the US?

Then, there is this 'family emergency' of your wife being 'tired.' Why will it take her two months to get rested? Now, you may think this question is rather blunt, but a CO (experienced) will be asking themselves (and you) this question? What is the 'life and death' emergency that requires your presence while your mother is still in dire need of your care? These two items don't mesh. Individually they make little sense; together, they make no sense. This will just look like a pretext to get you to the US, have the mind change at baggage claim, and stay in the US....(while your mother is.....???)

I agree with this post. If being tired would get Visa's issued we'd all do it because our relationships suffer while we are apart from our spouses. They will say who's gonna take care of your mom when you move to US permanently? Sorry, her being tired doesn't qualify. Have to wait impatiently like the rest f us. I'm sure they will gladly take your money and deny you. Sorry not what you want to hear.

  2. I'm a 22 year old guy who's about to lose his wife because I can't make it there and after 2 years if work and school and working her butt off.. She is just tired. If I don't go. I lose her and I don't have much that can prove I will come back except a sick mother who I take care of and who I wouldn't leave behind even if the word fell apart and emotional stuff is barely anything to the embassy people and they need something practical but I can pay for my own expenses and have my mom's shop which I look after. Small business. Is there no hope for me?

This will not cause them to issue the visitors Visa. They will see t as your relationship is falling apart and yo definitely will not come back. You have the option to try but be realistic they are not likely to issue it. I'm a newlywed who's marriage has been strained due to the this long process and they didn't care, that's not an emergency to them. unless your spouse is terminally ill they say no emergency. It often feels like it's set u to make relationships break apart.Try to work on your relationship and make the best of it. Good Luck!

  3. I applied for the K3 after the initial filing of the IR1/CR1 I130 and it have not heard anything since they said they received the application. The receipt doesn't even show u online. When calling I did learn that it may never do anything since the other will process first. I'm thinking they only get issued when they are extremely backlogged. Sure it's not the answer you were looking for but I am a true K3 filer (did it as fail safe in case they get bogged down so my spouse and I can be together).

  4. Hello,

Let me know what you find out, I'm in the same situation current NOA1 and nothing else and not been able to find one of the receipt numbers when I contact them. I'd love to know/understand why so long. I just want to have so I can let my grandma know since she getting up there in age and wants to see me in my wedding dries (reaffirming vows once DH is here).

  5. It's not so much the waiting, its the not knowing if one of the applications is even in their possession. First I hear, "You must have the wrong receipt number", then "Wait 60 days for it to show up on the online/phone search",then "Are you sure you received the receipt number from us?" I've heard a different answer from each robot. I then ask what's the processing time frame between the NOA1 and NOA2 and I've gotten various answers for that as well. I've 3-5 months, 3-9 months. Yes, not getting a straight answer is frustrating. At this rate we will be waiting years before we even reach the interview step since after these snails do their part it must be sent some place else and then finally to Jamaica (I think, not sure they advised correctly on that either). It becomes costly to visit frequently and I'm tired of border folks asking me why he doesn't visit me and why I am going so much. Now especially with a newborn now travelling so much is just not feasible. I ust need an idea of the process and estimated times so you can prepare yourself.

  6. Yes,but they do need at answer the questions asked not just sound like robots on the hone. Because they also need us since it's our funds keeping them employed. Just reading a script saying wait at least 60 days to see your case and it's well beyond is not a good answer. I'm just trying to get a sense of their true processing times since I have such a variance.

  7. Ok, So I called them again today inquiring about one of my applications that still says it can't be found. They first began with give it 60 days to show online. I stopped her there and said ok it's been 104 days, then she goes on to her next script and I said that's unacceptable. You guys took my money so how about a real answer. She then transferred me to someone else who went on to tell me she can see it and it's a computer glitch why i can't see it but if I enter it on the phone it will come up. i had to stop her as well and advise it doesn't since I tried prior to speaking whit her. She left that alone and then I waited on hold for about 15 minutes and she comes back to tell me that NSC is within processing time because they are currently processing June 24 applications. i asked why does their site say June 2 and if it was normal processing time it would have months listed not a date. She then went on to say application can take 6-9 months to process so I should call back after March 2016??? Ok, enough of my rant, now the question. Has anyone else had these issues of no answer and do you know a realistic timeline? It's difficult being newlyweds and have to be apart. I love how they cash to checks promptly but do everything else so slow. When would this office transfer the paperwork since they are moving so slow?

    I-130 Rec. August 19, 2015

I-129F rec. September 8, 2015 (can't even find receipt number online or on automated system)

    Not happy!!!

    :ranting:

  8. Just do something small and simple (justice of peace) then plan the big day (all brides deserve) later when you can plan and give guests enough notice to plan and attend. My husband and I married abroad with his family in attendance and are planning my big day for my family and others around our first anniversary (if he's finally have him here). My big thing was it wasn't exactly how I wanted it, but it was WHO I wanted so that made it special. We were fortunate that we were able to marry in a church with a minister and family though and I'm envied since I got married in Jamaica lol. Just breath and take your time. Congrats! :joy:

  9. Not being rude, but wouldn't you want to meet face to face before committing to marriage to someone? Skype is cool but it will look like a business arrangement the way it currently is. She should apply for visitors Visa and be able to prove that she loves you unconditionally. Also if you have not worked it will be difficult for the support affidavit. Let us know how it all turns out.

  10. Don't even waste your money. They will take it but if he has a wife (New wife from the way you wrote it it) he has nothing tying him to JA. A job is nto a strong enough tie. My husband and I are int he same situation. He has a good job and has been for years but we both know while there is immigration paperwork being processed they willing to grant a visitor Visa. Sad how tough it is for newlyweds to just be together because some time in past others did the wrong thing

  11. Wow this gives me hope! I've been having a tough couple of weeks waiting and not hearing anything. I miss him so much and it's hard not being together and be newlyweds. I can't travel until the new year (possibly not until Feb. 2016) due to work so I will not see my husband until next year and have to spend the holidays apart I have no idea how long the process from filing to interview can take for Jamaica. I've got a friend who said hers went fast (within 6 months) and she didn't have all of her stuff together. That gives me hope but not knowing/hearing I so unsettling. So stressed and going through so many emotions :huh2:
