  1. Hi! I'm not sure if I'm in the right section of this forum. Our K1 was approved yesterday !:dance: .Now, I'm a bit lost with the rest of this process.Should I start gathering the supporting paperworks and send it to him asap or it's better to wait until he receives a letter from US Embassy in Manila before I send it? How long do you think before we get called for an interview? My fiance is still working on his master's program and will graduate in March. Can you also add me to your tracking list if you don't mind? :) SALAMAT PO!

  2. Kayz: Good luck to you, mate. Hope you get your NOA2 soon. But realize, when you are complaining, that there are other people here not lucky enough to live in the Vermont Service Center region and get theirapproval in two weeks. Some have been waiting 3 months or longer...

I take my previous post back... I checked my portfolio 3 minutes ago,and is says:

I apologize if I was really impatient about this.. My fiance and I spent most of our 8-year relationship apart and we both can't wait to finally be together..Thank you soo much for all your help and for keeping me somewhat sane  ..Now, I am so ready for the next set of waiting months to go.

  3. Today marks the 30th day since I sent my I-129F... still no touches :crying: . My friend who also sent their packet on the same day that I mailed mine already got their NOA-2 yesterday :( . We pretty much have the same type of documents coz we helped each other in assembling the packet, we even went together to post office to mail it. :( I guess some of us has to wait for quite a while and some are just lucky..But like I said, all I want for christmas (and my birthday) is a touch

  4. Has anyone here mailed in a petition recently to a service center (either K1 or K3)?

Just trying to find others on a similar timeline. Ours just went in the mail yesterday. :) :)

I mailed mine 2 days ago (Nov. 14) and it was received after 12PM yesterday at Vermont SC..Yey!!

    Goodluck to you!!

    :D

  5. Best wishes... sounds like you have a good start...

Thank you so much to all of you ! I probabbly checked my application at least 50 times between last night and as of this update. I was able to cut it down to just two folders. One that holds the main application and forms and the other folder for all our evidence. As much as I wanted to remove some of the stuffs due to possible too much information case, I couldn't because every little thing of those items tells how we were able to hold onto each other for 8 years and counting!.I didn't include our chat logs because I figured our emails and snail letter correspondences are enough to get us going.I'm off to Post office in an hour to mail our K1 packet and I'm keeping my fingers crossed beginning today..Thanks again to all of you!

  6. Did you make two copies of everything?

Get rid of the extra folders, they'll go in the trash...put it all neatly stacked in order in one folder, save yourself some postage and send it.

Thank you for the tip about the folders! Yes, I've made copies (3 each) of everything and I also have a back up of it saved in my computer.I get paranoid and worries too much about our case because we had a 6 year period that we didn't saw each other in person (but our communication is continous during that time). I hope everything goes well with ours and thank you again for all your help.

  7. Does your evidence show meeting within last two years? You mentioned a 1999 passport as evidence but that's more than two years ago. Otherwise, I'd say you pretty much covered it. Too many photos, I hope you have copies for your memories.

I've included the stamp that I got from my 1999 trip as well as the stamps from the other two trips that I made this year. (February & September 2006).Is that gonna be good enough or do I need more proofs than that? I'm doing another check on my paperworks tonight and tomorrow before I mail it,to make sure that all stuffs are Ok..

    Thanks :D

  8. Finally! After so many delays, my K1 application packet is almost good to be send out...It's just so hard and scary to let it all go after so many weeks of looking through it over and over again, making sure that everything is correct and signed properly..Here's the list of everything that I'm going to mail tomorrow.(in order of how I stacked it.).Please let me know what you all think and if there's anything else that needs to be modified

    Cover Letter (signed by me)

    Payment fee of $170

Form I-129F and signed supplement page for Question#18

Sworn statement of mutual intent (signed indivudually by me & my fiance)

G325's and a supplement page of my employment information ( I have a full time & a part time job)

Front & back copies of naturalization certificate

    Copy of US Passport

Copies of my valid identification card

    Copy of my birth certificate

Copy of my fiance's foreign passport

Copy of my fiance's birth certificate

Copy of my fiance's valid indentification card

Copies of stamped passport pages( I included the one from my 1999 trip and I had a Philippine

passport at the time..to show that we have met way back...is this OK?)

    Copies of my flight itineraries

    Copies of my boarding passes

Photographs (24 photos with descriptions at the back)

Additional proofs: receipts, credit card statements, phone & text messaging bills, stamped letter envelopes, emails and chat logs.

I have used a total of 10 Manila folders and jumbo paper clips and labeled each folder with what's inside of it.I'm going to use a USPS priority flat rate box because I'm not sure if my packet will fit in a regular USPS letter envelope...

I hope everything goes OK with my package. Please let me know if you have any suggestions..Thanks alot for all your help!!
